How are you feeling @Gnatalie16 ? All set for tomorrow?

I'm trying to stay positive and have lots going on so hopefully be okay come tomorrow!
I've had to ask the clinic if I take my medication and inhixa as normal tomorrow as they haven't told me so other than that yep all ready to go!

I’ve got everything crossed for you @Gnatalie16 will be nice to have others in the tww!
I had to check about my meds as well, they told me just to continue them but hopefully they will get back to you soon :)

Ginie2024 · 08/08/2024 17:35

@Whysitsohard91 thanks for sharing, it's a very tricky (and expensive) decision to make so I completely agree with you re the thinking. I did PGT because I don't have live children and haven't been able to keep a pregnancy. I had several miscarriages, the last one at 12 weeks and every time it was due to a chromosome anomaly. The excitement of being pregnant doesn't really do much to me anymore but all my hopes are on this tested one!

@Gnatalie16 good luck for tomorrow!! And same for @Loute02 with your scan 🤞

@Kp121 how is it going with you?

Kp121 · 08/08/2024 17:39

Hey @Ginie2024 i feel absolutely nothing so that’s stressing me out. Trying my best to stay distracted but I’m going nuts and it’s only been 3 and a half days 😂

Ginie2024 · 08/08/2024 18:04

Haha I can imagine but I'm sure it will come! Are you planning on testing soon..?

SamVan · 08/08/2024 19:12

Hi all! Please can I join your group?

I just had my fet today! Feeling nauseated as I had to have sedation for my procedure. We transferred a single embryo. I did a natural modified cycle (so no estrogen) but I am supplementing with some progesterone pessaries which are making me gassy, warm and grumpy. Brilliant combination. That said, I’m feeling positive about the transfer as all went well and am looking forward to testing in a week :)

Kp121 · 08/08/2024 21:10

Hi Sam. Welcome! I’m just a few days ahead of you. If you don’t mind me asking why did you need sedation for your transfer? Absolutely fine if you would rather not say

SlinkMcSlink · 08/08/2024 21:14

@SamVan good to see a familiar name!! Fingers crossed 🤞

Hoppy1985 · 09/08/2024 09:57

@Gnatalie16 good luck for your transfer today.

@SamVan hey Sam. Welcome :) I am booked in for my transfer on Monday. This is my last remaining embryo. Is this your first FET?

Gnatalie16 · 09/08/2024 12:26

Transfer all done. Was lovely and calm which helped to enjoy it. Just on our way home and stopping for a McDonald's 🍟!!
My test day is 22nd so I'm now in the tww 😬🫠

Congrats @Gnatalie16 ! Haha I love how we always go for comfort food after a transfer or an EC, well deserved!

Kp121 · 09/08/2024 14:03

Great news @Gnatalie16. Hope the chips worked their magic!

SamVan · 09/08/2024 14:30

Thanks for the welcome @Hoppy1985 @Kp121! And nice to see you again @SlinkMcSlink - we've progressed onto the next stage now!

Yes this is my first transfer, I have 3 blasts (2 more in the freezer) but this is my best one and the others are average/poor quality so I'm really hoping this one works! @Kp121 I have a slightly wonky cervix so it's just easier to do it sedated so I don't cramp up and stress out.

@Gnatalie16 Glad it went well!

How long is everyone holding out for to test? I'm gonna try to wait till 6 days post transfer as it seems like there's a good chance of getting a positive from day 5. I did get ahead of myself and buy a maternity(ish) dress today.

SlinkMcSlink · 09/08/2024 14:48

@SamVan awww I wish that I had progressed to the next stage. I have an update appointment on Monday so hopefully have a date given to me for transfer then.

I swear it feels like forever!

Loute02 · 09/08/2024 15:00

Glad it went well @Gnatalie16 !
Thanks @Ginie2024 😊
Went for my scan this morning and lining is at 7.3. My clinic wants it at minimum 8 so I'm back for a scan on Tuesday. Made me a bit deflated today even though I know it is still early and normal.
We also discuss starting the Lubion injections as well as the pessaries next week if the scan is fine.

Kp121 · 09/08/2024 16:21

@SamVan that makes sense. Just an extra element you could have done without.
Tomorrow is day 5pt for me. Desperate to test but hoping to tough it out to Sunday which is day 6 and I feel like a FRER has a chance.
I’ve been reading online what happens at each stage and in theory we are implanting on day 4 or 5 so in theory day 6 seems sensible
what are you thinking?

SamVan · 09/08/2024 16:54

@Kp121 Ooh day 5 is good! Was it a 3 or a 5 day embryo? My understanding is theres a chance from day 5 but you should know with some certainty by day 7 (for day 5 embryos). I was hoping to hold out to day 7 but, being realistic, I'll probably be pissing on sticks from day 4. Do you have any symptoms yet? I have a bit of stomach cramping but my stomach hasn't been feeling good due to the progesterone so it could be anything. I'm trying to distract myself and not symptom spot. Thankfully the olympics is on!

Kp121 · 09/08/2024 17:06

@SamVan 5 day transfer. So tomorrow we are the equivalent of 10dpo I believe.
Im the same, the progesterone is wreaking havoc with my stomach.
Theres no definite symptoms. A few times I’ve thought oh I’ve got very very mild cramping or oh was my boob sore when I touched it there. But nothing that I would have noticed if I wasn’t looking for it.
Im exhausted, roasting hot and have a headache but that’s not uncommon for me with an underactive thyroid and PCOS

Zypig · 09/08/2024 18:11

Hello all! Mind if I join? I’m 4dp5dt on an FET, so my transfer was Monday. @Kp121 is that the same timing as you?

This is my third FET, first was positive sadly mmc at 8w5d, second BFN and now onto the third.

Ive had no symptoms apart from just feeling really bloated and tired but I felt like that before the transfer so I think it’s just the excessive progesterone I’m taking! Slightly worried as my first I had some cramping and back ache early on while the second I felt nothing. The rational part of me says they’re all different but I can’t help comparing.

Good luck to you all!

Kp121 · 09/08/2024 18:26

Hi @Zypig
yes that’s the same as me!
when are you thinking of testing?
