@Kp121 if you haven't watched code black and you can find it anywhere i'd recommend that - there are 3 seasons.

Kp121 · 31/07/2024 18:10

Thank you @Hoppy1985 have a restful rest of your week and I’ll hear how you get on, on Monday ☺️

Hoppy1985 · 31/07/2024 18:14

@Kp121 you too!

Ginie2024 · 02/08/2024 08:08

Happy Friday ladies! @Gnatalie16 good luck for today 💪

Hoppy1985 · 02/08/2024 11:40

@Gnatalie16 yes good luck for your scan today!

Gnatalie16 · 02/08/2024 12:07

So I have just come out of my meeting and my lining is 12.8mm which amazes me it's grown 6mm in 2 days! So I will find out transfer day and when to start the pessaries this afternoon it has suddenly got very real and also very exciting 😁

@Gnatalie16 that's awesome news! Sounds like your transfer will be pretty soon

Kp121 · 02/08/2024 12:12

Amazing news @Gnatalie16 !!

Loute02 · 02/08/2024 16:08

Yey @Gnatalie16 !! Can I ask on what cycle day you are on? 12.8 seems like a very good number!
Got my scan next Friday which will be day 11 so I fear it might be a bit on the low side.
Seems like we're all having a busy week next week 😀

The progynova is giving me some bad headaches. I'm sure the heat doesn't help...

I am currently on day 12.

Ive got my transfer date as next Friday. Go in on the Tuesday morning for the progesterone blood test. Start my pessaries on Sunday which I'm scared for as have been reading everyone saying they do them rectallly and well that is not something I think I can bring myself to do 😅

Oh that's great!

I previously took the pessaries vaginally 😆 just make sure to wear a panty liner !

Hi Ladies!

Hope you don’t mind me jumping in this thread!

We are moving on to IVF/FET if my last Letrozole fails so now trying to plan ahead with finances.

For those who had EC then had to freeze embryos before transfer (due to OHSS), was your 1st FET included in your IVF cycle cost or did you had to pay a separate fee for FET?

I know I can ask our clinic but it’s weekend now and can’t wait for Monday lol!

Thank you!

Ginie2024 · 02/08/2024 21:04

Very exciting @Gnatalie16 ! I didn't think I could do pessaries at the back either but tbh it's so much easier and cleaner than at the front.
@hellomama1 welcome! I am at a private clinic and had to freeze because I was doing PGTA on the embryos after EC but the FET was not included. I think I'll need to sell one of my kidneys soon...

I am Bupa funded and my frozen transfer wasn't included in the egg collection round, doesn't mean though that some clinics don't have it included

@hellomama1 my nhs funding allows for one fresh and one frozen, but if you can’t do fresh due to OHSS you get two frozen (this happened to me and I’m moving on to frozen attempt #2).

Some of it was in my funding letter, the rest I had to find in our local ICB funding policy online.

hellomama1 · 02/08/2024 22:55

@Ginie2024 @Gnatalie16 @Sierra26 thank you ladies for your replies!

Kp121 · 03/08/2024 07:11

@hellomama1 welcome. one frozen transfer was included in our egg collection price

Hoppy1985 · 03/08/2024 10:33

@Gnatalie16 ooh next Friday, that's exciting! Initially they told me to expect mine w/c 5th but my period was a few days later than expected. I guess I'll see what they say when I have my scan Monday

Hoppy1985 · 03/08/2024 10:36

@Ginie2024 is it a lot less messy putting them "up the back end"? I found the pessaries awful🤢
@hellomama1 at my NHS clinic on the private side one frozen transfer was included, at the private clinic the frozen transfer cost was separate but overall it came to around the same cost

Ginie2024 · 03/08/2024 13:37

@Hoppy1985 yeah it's not pleasant but tbh I still prefer these than the injections! It's not really messy, the big downside tho is that it messes up with my stomach (sorry TMI!)

Kp121 · 03/08/2024 14:23

@Ginie2024 thats interesting to see you say that. I’ve had a lot of bother with my stomach since starting the progesterone. Didn’t know if that was just coincidence

Gnatalie16 · 04/08/2024 13:13

Question for those on the progesterone, do you leave exactly 8 hours between each dose? My protocol says approx 8 hours but I woke up late this morning and will mean having to do them at midnight which is way late for me 😂

@Gnatalie16 I try but there are days in all my cycle where similar happened to me. Although obviously both my pregnancies ended in MC i did get BFP's on both my previous FET's so i think you will be fine to take a few hours earlier. In fact i ran out of meds because they miscalculated how many i had from my previous cycle (even though i told them) so i missed a full day on FET 2.

Ginie2024 · 04/08/2024 16:55

Same here, as long as it's just a couple of hours difference, it's fine

Gnatalie16 · 04/08/2024 17:49

@Ginie2024 @Hoppy1985 thank you I will stay awake as long as I can and do it just before I fall asleep!

I have already experienced the leakage 😭 got no panty liners so sanitary towel it is till I can get some tomorrow 😅
