Hi,
Is anyone else getting ready for FET in August? I've just started oestrogen got my 1st scan booked for next Wednesday.
This is our first transfer so lots of mixed emotions but trying to remain really positive.

Hi Guys, long time lurker on here & finally plucked up the courage to comment.ha.
Same sex couple,
3 x failed iui paid for but in NHS clinic then changed clinic and to ivf
4 egg collections in total
3 x fresh Transfers
3 x Frozen Transfers
Have had a Frozen transfered today.

Our last transfer gave us our 1st ever positive but sadly resulted in a chemical.

No known issues other than ovulation which we found out upon initial ivf tests.
Currently on, Utrogestan 3 x daily, Lubion, Prednisolone, Baby Aspirin, Estrogen & Tinzaparin injections. Seems alot when I write it down.
Separately I take High Strength Vitamin D, Folic Acid, Womens Pro Biotic & Omeprazole for a stomach problem I have.
I did take High Strength Coq10 prior to egg collections.

I had a dodgy tummy today, very lethargic and quite the headache! Are these normal after FET?

@Toinfinityandbeyond24 welcome and best of luck for your transfer! Are you holding out to test or planning to cave early?
Out of interest how long before egg collection do you start taking CoQ10?

@Coffeeandbannans I'm also feeling lethargic today and slightly nauseous. I didn't have these symptoms last time. Otherwise feeling ok!

How are we all doing in the 2ww? I'm feeling very tired in the past couple of days but no other symptoms. OTD is on Saturday so not long to wait!

I'm not getting any symptoms at all, did wake with a spot today, which I usually get 1 week before my period. So now, I think it has failed again :( 6 more days until test day.

Hello ladies. Just checking in, hope everyone is doing well.

@AnonS i didnt have any symptoms so try not to let that put you off. We are now 6+1 and saw the heartbeat at an early scan last night 😍

@Kp121 That's amazing, congratulations. One day hopefully, one day!

@zypig Thankyou. We ate normally pretty good at waiting, but test day is GNR day which my wife is running so not sure to do it before her run or after at the mo.
Last time we waited until test day, I was sure it was another fail as had no symptoms at all other than feeling heavy legged like my period was going to start on day 4& 5 but we did have a positive.

Coq10 I started after our 1st ivf fail which I do believe yielded our better results.
1st egg retrieval had 7 collected but only had 1 x merula to transfer whereas the 2nd I had 16 collected & had 4 blastocyst at top grades so for us it did improve results.

Thanks @Loute02 ! All went well so far, super tired but this has been the case since I started progesterone in July so now it's all about waiting until next Sunday and not go crazy! @Toinfinityandbeyond24 are you testing on Sunday too?

@AnonS keep strong, tbh I think the symptoms are just off with all the meds they give us, you won't know for sure until the test 💪

It's been an emotional day with lots of crying I must admit, I've completely lost my capacity at controlling my emotions - it will be fun tomorrow at the office! 😅 but we're all going through the same thing so I'll just keep my head down and try not to think about the previous miscarriages. Any tips welcome!

@Ginie2024 you're allowed to have an emotional day! It is such a rollercoaster and tiredness and drugs make a mess of us.

I caved in and did three a test this morning, being one day before OTD and it is a BFP ! Totally over the moon 😊 hope it sticks! @AnonS I don't have much symptoms so keeping everything crossed it will be the same for you.

Well my pregnancy didn't last long, woke up this morning to bleeding and now clots. I'm heartbroken and feel like a complete failure. Still waiting for my clinic to call me back but I'm pretty confident as it's like my period. I thought we were finally getting our happy moment 😞

@Loute02 cautious congrats on your BFP!

@Gnatalie16 so sorry to read that. I know you’ll be gutted. Big hugs and hopefully the clinic get back to you quickly

I haven't been on here for a week while I try and sort myself out a bit emotionally but I was really sad to come back and see your post this morning @Gnatalie16 . I'll keep everything crossed that it's not as feared and just something sent to test you.

I'm going in for a blood test at 11.30 will get results tomorrow. I keep getting people say to me that it might not mean it's over but I will be very surprised if it isn't. I feel everything I feel when I have my period and my boobs are no longer sore so I feel quite confident

@Gnatalie16 So sorry to hear you're going through this, can't imagine how you're feeling. Keeping everything crossed for you.

@Loute02 Amazing news. I was so tempted to test this morning, but I would be so annoyed with myself if I got that magic line and my partner wasn't there. I am only 7dp5dt, I know so many get the line, but I am going to be good and wait.

I am so confused, bleeding quite heavy this morning with clots now it's stopped. I just don't know what's going on. Went for a blood test this morning will get a call tomorrow to hopefully know what's going on

Sorry you're going through this @Gnatalie16 , it's a nightmare 😔
Not to give you false hope but one of my friends had something similar around 10 weeks and it was indeed nothing sinister but just a blood bubble/fibroid kinda thing that had burst and her baby was fine but they still kept her at the hospital overnight - I'll be crossing everything for you for a good news tomorrow 🤞

Sorry to hear that @Gnatalie16 I feel there is a bit of hope with the fact it stopped this afternoon. Hope you get a good call tomorrow.

I had my my transfer yesterday.
We're doing IVF due to male factor infertility.
We got 3 embryos a few years ago, fresh transfer resulted in a very healthy 4 year old. We are very blessed.

First frozen failed at around 5-6 weeks.

Out last chance is brewing inside me right now. Have to test in 8th. But am not holding my breath at all until we get at least to 12 weeks.

This time feels really different to previous cycle. Maybe because I miscarried last time and maybe because I know it's our absolute last chance.

Congrats @llamajohn ! How are you feeling? A few of us will be testing on Sunday then 🥳
