I’ve looked for a thread for August but couldn’t find one? (Please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong)
We are starting a long protocol at the beginning of July ready for stims and EC in August. This is our first IVF, I’ve been infertile for 15 years due to complications during endo surgery so always knew IVF was my only option. I met my DH seven years ago and now we are ready to try our luck.

I suddenly feel quite anxious about the whole process although I’ve known it’s my only option for a long time, now I've finally actually looked into what's involved and people's experiences. I’ve had to loose 5st to get my bmi inside requirements which has been incredibly hard but I’m proud I got to this point.

I've got quite a complicated gynea history so preparing myself for a rocky ride, but I’m also thankful for my medical history because I’m already very used to those awful internal scans 🤣

@GLizzie88 sounds good! Yea there's a few of us with similar EC dates, the nurse just said to me it's probably a freeze all due to the follicles they've seen already but they'll make the call on wed!

@Tiz90 it's crazy isn't it, the meds should not be the price they charge but when we need them so quick we have no choice, it feels like they can charge what they want for them, I had to get these from my clinic yesterday no option to shop around as needed them the next day, we don't pay until Thursday so won't know until then 😂

That's great! Did they mention a freeze all cycle for you? Iv 30+ follicles so they said more than likely that's what it will be to avoid OHSS!

@Tiz90 oh wow that's is on the higher side have you PCOS? Absolutely time to get bigger I had such a change from last Friday until Monday there, iv to go for a third scan now tomorrow to see as mine were ranging from 11-21mm. I think you're right prepare yourself for a freeze all so if it's not it's a bonus! That's my plan anyway 😂

@Tiz90 it will be Thursday or Friday this week, most likely Thursday! Ah I see makes sense then, hopefully you don't end up with OHSS either, it doesn't sound great 😂

@Tiz90 just sedation, just hoping they give me lots of it as iv had the twilight one before and I'm always been awake 😖😂 I'm a bit sore but hoping it's just all the follicles as defo wouldn't be used to this! Yep defo will let everyone know! Hoping for lots of great eggs 😂

Good luck ladies. Also hoping you don't get ohss!! I've been confirmed as Friday for EC now so I'm glad of that. Can tie work up for the week and let myself rest after! I didn't seem to have many follicles, about 8??

@Tiz90 they sound like they are doing well @GLizzie88 what day of stims will you be Friday?
I have my trigger tonight at 1030 have 2 gonapeptyl 0.1 and 1 ovitrelle I'm sure I only had one last time .....

Day 13 of cycle, day 11 of stims.
That's very exciting! I don't find out until tomorrow when my appointment and hcg trigger is.

@nicky0 it’s mad isn’t it when you go down the rabbit hole of Google! I hope things go well for you and your partner in the coming days, I just had no idea they could get more eggs than the number of large follicles. I’m guessing some eggs hid in the smaller follicles to keep us all guessing (as if we don’t have enough stress) 😂

@Sineadttc that’s great news on your transfer! You can join us in the 2WW 😊I know it’s hard not to worry but a Grade A embryo is a great shot, the best you can hope for!

@GLizzie88 I ended up getting more eggs than the number of follicles at my last scan before EC so I hope that’s the case for you (I actually got 8 eggs but was so pleased as I’d only had 3 large follicles at the final scan!)

I’m feeling ok (I think) but quite up and down with emotions, finding the 2WW is the hardest bit, like people warned me! My test is due at the weekend, I had PMS symptoms which disappeared yesterday. Oddly I think my cervix has gone up high again as pessaries going in easier (sorry TMI 😂) so all in all, no idea which way it’s going to go!!

Hi ladies, just out of my app and EC will be Friday. Defo a freeze all as I have 35 follicles 🙈 now that is counting them all including the smaller sizes but there is a few decent sized ones she said so really hoping for some good quality eggs and it is quality over quantity! I am feeling very nauseas and quite sore so probably on the verge of OHSS! 😩 supposed to be moving house Friday will have to do all today and tomorrow 😂

They collected 11 eggs from 12 follicles which they seemed pleased about but not sure how many are mature will find out more tomorrow. Hoping for some good numbers, it’s the not knowing that’s tough and trying not too google too much!

@LimeBird @Sineadttc I hope you're ok in your tww now, I've got to admit I'm not looking forward to it! I have a diploma assessment 3 days after I'd find out so I'm trying to focus on that!!also thanks for that info @LimeBird , they didn't really give me much information about my follicles etc to be honest! @Daniki really try to look after yourself, that's so so much to go through. Get as much support and as many helpers as you can!!

How's all doing after EC ?
Mine is first thing so having an electrolyte at midnight my last drink yehhh

Also how was everyone after their trigger I feel like I feel too good it's worrying 😬

I am an impatient person at the best of times, this is so hard! Last night we went out a cycle and tonight I’m going to the cinema. Just doing things to keep my mind preoccupied. Today has also been busy in work so would definitely recommend work for people that can because it’s a huge distraction.

what stage are you at now?
I had mild cramping this morning and I just think automatically ahh it’s my period as I suffer badly with them in the lead up 😫

@GLizzie88 thank you! Little bit crampy but overall feeling good. Was my first time so didn’t really know what to expect, I’m pleasantly surprised. Got my next set of meds lined up now for the next week or so, fingers crossed we get a fresh transfer on Monday but don’t want to get my hopes up 😊

Thanks ladies, trying to get everything moved tomorrow, it's only over the road to our self build so it's grand just the thoughts of it 😂 would like it done before EC tho.
Just for message from the portal we're looking at another 1k because it's changed to a freeze all which is annoying but sure anyway! It really irks me that it costs so much to have a badly wanted baby and there is people out there who get pregnant so easily and have their kids taken off them 😖 (speaking from personal experience within my extended family 😂🙈)
