IVF / ICSI August

I’ve looked for a thread for August but couldn’t find one? (Please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong)
We are starting a long protocol at the beginning of July ready for stims and EC in August. This is our first IVF, I’ve been infertile for 15 years due to complications during endo surgery so always knew IVF was my only option. I met my DH seven years ago and now we are ready to try our luck.

I suddenly feel quite anxious about the whole process although I’ve known it’s my only option for a long time, now I've finally actually looked into what's involved and people's experiences. I’ve had to loose 5st to get my bmi inside requirements which has been incredibly hard but I’m proud I got to this point.

I've got quite a complicated gynea history so preparing myself for a rocky ride, but I’m also thankful for my medical history because I’m already very used to those awful internal scans 🤣

I had ICSI in August and am currently 32 weeks, still can’t believe it!! X

@Hat24congrats that’s amazing! I am 8+1 now after doing a second FET in Feb, so hoping this one sticks 🙏

Congrats @Hat24 , @pixiecircle and @Daniki ! No joy for me as yet, just finished 3rd round (2nd of 3 cycle egg collection package) which didn’t go well at all (no blasts) but hoping next round may go better. Have one blast in freezer from last round. Best of luck for smooth journeys from here x

@LimeBirdgod that must be tough! Will you take a break before next collection?

Thanks @Daniki Only a couple of months planned as the break (so you have the post EC period then the next proper period is what they count as day 1). I’m not sure whether to take a break as have now turned 41 so don’t feel time is on my side!

for anyone reading this post I was obsessed with the strength of the line - convinced wasn’t working. I’m now feeding my 2 month old. Please don’t focus on those lines, you’ll drive yourself mad. Good luck to all out there! Don’t give up, it’ll be worth it
