I’ve looked for a thread for August but couldn’t find one? (Please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong)
We are starting a long protocol at the beginning of July ready for stims and EC in August. This is our first IVF, I’ve been infertile for 15 years due to complications during endo surgery so always knew IVF was my only option. I met my DH seven years ago and now we are ready to try our luck.

I suddenly feel quite anxious about the whole process although I’ve known it’s my only option for a long time, now I've finally actually looked into what's involved and people's experiences. I’ve had to loose 5st to get my bmi inside requirements which has been incredibly hard but I’m proud I got to this point.

I've got quite a complicated gynea history so preparing myself for a rocky ride, but I’m also thankful for my medical history because I’m already very used to those awful internal scans 🤣

@Lil89 we're at similar stages. I'm 6dp5dt. Try to enjoy your week as much as possible! Obviously easier said than done but I've been keeping super busy and we went away for the weekend to distract. I also don't have any symptoms but I don't necessarily think that means anything either way! It's all out of our hands now. Stay strong!

Hi @Lil89 try not to over do it! Don't read into no symptoms, as that's very common. If you're taking supplements, keep to them and any support medicinal recommended by your clinic such as progesterone. I also take microaspirin after clearing it with my doctor. Fingers crossed for you and @Hat24!

Thanks so much @Zeeha ☺️ I have stuck to my meds and vitamins, also tried Vitamin E to help with my lining too (the clinic didn't say there was anything wrong but I'm eager)

How are you doing? I can't make it away right now as DH has broken his foot so we are home bound right now which isn't making the 2WW any easier 🙃

I'm ok thanks. I definitely found egg collection and the 5 days following it the worst bit, but have felt much calmer since the transfer. How are you doing? Sorry about your partner's foot, rubbish timing!

Struggling during TWW! Prior to EC I felt calm as could focus on needles and meds, now the wait is really tough 😳

@Hat24 oh yeah, I also really struggled with the embryo result wait. Anxiety through the roof.

I'm super confused right now. On saturday, 10pd5dt, I took a test and there was the faintest line ever. I filed this under interesting and potentially concerning, because that is super late to get such a faint line, but it was so faint it could've just been a test with a more pronounced indent. Anyway, I spotted the entire Saturday and Sunday started bleeding heavily. Like full flow with the goopy bits, test on Sunday totally negative. Monday's test also bfn, stopped meds then. This morning I got a call I didn't show up for my bloods today. I told them the story and they booked me a follow up, been bleeding heavy since Sunday. I probably would've gone, just cause, had today not been a logistical nightmare with my child and I was certain it would be negative. Then as I got back from daycare dropoff, I took my last test just to put a lid on this thing and there is a fuxking line. What the shit is this! Should I get back on my meds? Is this an ectopic? FFS, now I'm gonna go out and buy a bunch of different tests, if I see anything on any of them, I'm gonna do my shots and get a blood test tomorrow morning. Can't pregnancy just be a boolean type thing, this is stupid.

@BakinABaby it's such a mind screw! Please let us know what the other tests say and I'm praying for a good outcome for you 🙏

Well I'm feeling sick today for the first time, but I think it's from worry. My spotting stopped about two weeks ago when I stopped using the applicators for the pessaries, but this morning it's back! No other symptoms and no pain at all, but it's more pink this time and everytime I wipe, so I'm going out of my mind. Just spoke to the doctor and he said it can be normal but understands my worry. They've moved my scan forward a week to Monday to try give me some reassurance sooner 😩

@Trying4eva1 did you go to the EPU or will you be going at all? I hope all is well!

Went to EPU. There was a sac and yolk sac and measuring a week behind. A week to wake but it’s a similar story to before

2WW is killing me! I've been taking HCG quick tests for the last 4 days but no symptoms and negative test each day! Today is my 7dp5dt 😳

Not sure there is much I can do.

I took my trigger last night, I've woke up this morning full on head cold high temp sore throat etc.

I have egg collection tomorrow AM, will they still proceed?

I had a cold before my EC, I was dosing myself with high strength vit C and drinking plenty of honey and lemon in hot water. Rest as much as you can! I never mentioned it as I didn't feel too bad the day of EC.

@Daniki managing to keep my temp under with paracetamol. Roll on tomorrow

I think I'm out. Woke up to blood through my pants and pj bottoms. Large red clot when I went to the loo. On the way to EPU now to get checked. They can't guarantee a scan as they don't have a slot but I'll do my best to get one! I've had no pain so far, but I've got the start of some capping on my right side now, so I'm worried on ectopic as well 😢

We had a negative blood test yesterday so the fresh transfer didn't work. I hope someone is lucky enough to share some good news soon!

My home tests are still showing negative but I'm only 9DP5DT, so I keep holding out hope!

The bleeding has stopped now. The EPU managed to fit me in for a scan. The pregnancy is there, it's small, in the right place thankfully and even a heartbeat! They think some blood may have formed in the womb and passed through. So relieved to see all is ok, but still very anxious with this frequent bleeding. I should be going for another scan on Monday at the clinic, so I guess it's just taking each day as it comes now and praying.

@Hat24 thank you and I'm really sorry to hear about your test. Will you be trying again soon or resting up for a while?

@Lil89 there's still time yet. If you aren't testing on sensitive ones, maybe try giving one of those a go tomorrow morning? I have my fingers crossed for you!
