Cant remember which girls who have already got their result wanted to leave - so have added the majority just in case! ☺️

I had quite sharp shooting pains on each side after both egg collections which lasted a couple days. How you doing now? What did the clinic say?

I’ve had a tiny bit of spotting this afternoon which freaked me out so I rang my clinics out of hours line as I wondered if they’d tell me to take more progesterone. She said not to bother and mainly just felt like I was being told off too testing early!

@EvaA17 it does feel like wind but I have never felt anything so bad as this .. must be from the medication ?? It’s still sore but not as bad .. I would say 5/10 now where was 7/10 earlier.

@AnnieStar12 the clinic is calling in the morning to update if any fertilised so if still sore I’ll say to them then .. it is in the upper part of my tummy on right side in hight line with my hip .. it’s not so much in the womb area which is strange, its just really sore to move or sit , I did take two paracetamol but didn’t do anything for the pain .. so strange.

what happens to the small follicles that were there after EC.. so if they just take eggs out of all the large follicles , I had a few small that never got touched by embryologist as too small, do the small ones just dissolve after the ovitrelle ? Sorry if that’s a weird question am just wondering if they can leak fluid to cause OHSS??

@AnnieStar12 could it be implantation bleeding ? When is your test date again ?? Fingers crossed all ok, it’s always a worry even you see blood!

@AnnieStar12 Congratulations!! That’s a beautiful strong line! I just think back to when you only got your one egg and was so deflated and said it wouldn’t work and here you are. 🥹🥹 Little miracle! I started a group on here about waiting for scans if you want to join once you’ve told your clinic ♥️

@AnnieStar12 That is definitely much darker, congratulations. At least now you know it isn’t the trigger!! You can post here, it’s about sharing our individual experiences and sometimes some are better than others. This is what a support board is about ☺️

@AnnieStar12 Unfortunately, I don’t think my story will be one of the good news ones which is fine. Others have however, given me hope ☺️ the day after transfer when my doctor called me to stop taking my lubion injections and just to continue with the pessaries as my progesterone was “quite high” I just knew it was over as high progesterone can impact the receptivity of the uterus and my body is quite sensitive. Looks like another stile cycle I’m afraid. Prior tho, I will have an aqua scan to check the structure of my uterus to make sure there are no issues preventing implantation.

And sorry to hear about the progesterone, I hadn’t realised they thought yours was too high. Sorry to hear that. Yeah my doctor always said that fresh transfer would be cancelled if progesterone was raised, I didn’t know why she said that so what you say makes sense if it impacts the uterus ability to receive the blastocyst. Sounds like you’re making sensible next step plans so you’re ready for any outcome.

@HopefulllHolly thankyou, yeah I feel like my next step is to get to my OTD (Saturday)and still have a solid second line. I’ve had a chemical pregnancy and a missed miscarriage in the past year so I have been here before and seen that line fade away so I am tryna manage my nerves. But I never in a million years thought I would be here with a BFP after my measly 1 egg collected!

@AnnieStar12 Of course, you’re bound to be taking it very slowly to protect yourself. But I hope you are still celebrating a big milestone and having a bit of faith in the meantime because it’s lovely news 🥰

@PurpleRayne89 sorry to hear this, hows did they know your progrestrone was high ? Did they do a blood test ? I am worried also as hot pessaries and the injections which I did then was an overload, especially when my last clinic didn’t think I need extra progrestrone. I might tell them I don’t want the injection and just take the pessaries as they haven’t done a blood test to test my levels !

@AnnieStar12 this is so amazing ! Well done you to get this result from your one lovely little egg .. ! I know it’s a worry as I also have seen the line fade .. but try stay postive as statistics are on your side! Can I ask are you on progesterone at all ?

my pain is still present .. not as sore so it must be from the EC , still waiting on fertilisation call so will speak to them at that point. 🤞🏽

Thanks everyone, yeah I am trying to enjoy this moment. I’m a step closer to having a baby but many more hurdles to go, just trying to appreciate getting this far for now.

@hopefullsosbry If you are concerned, ask them to check your levels. They checked mine the day of my last scan, so the day of the trigger, and that was the same in my first cycle too. I am on 2 x cyclogest pesseries per day which judging by many of these forums is the most common protocol, but I’ve also read of women on lots more than that.

Our transfer has been cancelled the embryo has not reached day 5 not good quality either 💔 time to really start considering donor eggs I think 😪

@hopefullsosbry I was given a blood test to check day of transfer. After EC I was given pessaries and injections. I don’t know the exact number but I can ask and let you know. Funny since I stopped the injections. All of my symptoms disappeared. But concerned it had something to do with that. My last cycles I’ve never had injections with pessaries. I asked about uterine receptivity and his response was “it’s better high than low”. Quite vague.

I got a call and out of the 8, 5 were mature and all 5 have fertilised ..so I am happy with that result. Next update on Thursday at day 3 🤞🏽✨
@AnnieStar12 thanks, the embryologist couldn’t give me the answers so waiting on the nursing team to get back.

@PurpleRayne89 that’s not very good he gave you such an unhelpful answer, I just worry as I have not had any blood tests to check my progesterone levels with the cycle, any blood tests in past for hormones have been fine, so to give me such a load of progesterone just cause I have had 5 losses in the past ? Doesn’t seem right .. I haven’t had any bleeding with any of the past miscarriage at all, only when they ‘came away’ I’ll speak to them later I am just wondering why I have such a high dose. Thanks

Hmm .. got a call and said they don’t do routine blood test for progesterone levels .. as there is no evidence to support anything and everyone person is different etc .. she just said it’s up to me if I don’t want to take the injections to not , but definitely take the suppositories .. I just dunno what to do .. am scared I’ll be taking too much but then also should I follow there advice?

Just had an update from the embryologist, we have one good quality day 6 embryo ready to be frozen. A huge relief as I was totally expecting to have nothing. Not quite sure how I’m feeling tbh, the last 24 hours have been a complete rollercoaster! Think I need some time to compose myself and then we can start prepping for a FET. Wow, what a total head f**k ivf is 😵‍💫 sending lots of love to everyone who has had some bad news x
