@Seasidegirll ahhh I'm so sorry to hear. Did they only provide you a day 5 update and not a day 3 one too? I'm hoping and got everything crossed that the two catch up and you receive positive news tomorrow! Please look after yourself and keep resting.

@Clairehbear so sorry to hear. Please don't blame yourself, these things we can't control and you couldn't have done anything differently! I'm sure your partner is not thinking those things either. Please take all the time you need, look after yourself and hopefully you can try again when you feel up to it. Sending lots of love xx

@AnnieStar12 @HopefulllHolly @camelinastorm yeah so I got given antibiotics. I spoke to my nurse and she's asked me to keep monitoring the temp and look out for other symptoms, then they will have me come in for bloods, might be an infection or symptoms of OHSS.
The abdomen cramping has gotten a bit better. Just feels a bit rubbish to be honest.
Firstly the uncertainty of even having any embryos to freeze and then to be feeling this way.

Awh I’m so sorry. This journey is so hard physically, mentally and emotionally.

my partner is great and he keeps saying I need to stop blaming myself. I just didn’t think I would be at this point at only 35 with the prospect of it not working!

i don’t know what we are going to do. We are getting married next May so might just put it off until after that however my AMH will most likely be worse so I’m really torn. We only get one cycle on the NHS in NI and I’ve been told the most likely option for me will be egg donation but it will take a lot to get my head round. Plus the reason we went down south was because I don’t meet the BMI cut off for NHS and with it being time sensitive with my AMH result I don’t know if it will be possible. Just feel so lost and heart broken and don’t know what to do.

@Clairehbear I am sorry to hear that news. It’s so difficult. It’s the uncertainty that bothers me the most. I hope you’re ok ❤️

@Clairehbear &@Seasidegirll I am so sorry to hear this, I hope you both have a good network of people around you who can support you at this time, you never know things can change, we had two on our last cycle they didn’t look good on day 5 but they said they would leave it till day 6 and one of them became an A grade on the day 6 .. don’t loose hope yet you never know! Keeping everything crossed for you both 🤞🏽✨

I had my EC collection today .. I got 8 eggs .. which is really good progress, so they grew , although slowly.. they got there , and we got 1 from the right (right ovary didn’t respond at 1st so this was good news) so 7 were from left ovary 1from right. will find out tomorrow if we are lucky to get any fertilised 🤞🏽 we are ICSI. All going well will do a fresh transfer on Saturday. She gave me the progesterone suppositories and also some progesterone injections’Lubion’ that I have to take in evening .. she said as I have had the 5 miscarriages they I am on ‘extra care’ so fingers crossed this makes the difference because my 1st clinic never gave me any progesterone after any transfers .. only a jag ovetrelle ?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ so I’ll be maxed out on progesterone .. god help my fiancé 🙈🤣😵‍💫

@Seasidegirll I'm so sorry. I hope you're ok 💕 There is still hope for tomorrow. Really hope the embryologist can give you some details or answers as well. It's such a cruel journey. Be kind to yourself x

To the group .. EC at 10:15 today but since 3:15 ish I have been feeling a really sore pain on my right .. worse when I take a deep breath in .. the thing is I only got 1 taken from the right and 7 from left so I don’t know why the right is so sore, but it feels like a stitch sore of pain or really bad trapped wind in you know what I mean .. the pain relief has prob wore off but am not keen to take more so I can keep an eye on the pain incase it gets worse, if that makes sence, I can’t remember such a pain last time after my EC and although I only had 8 can I still be at risk of OHSS? Does this sound a normal pain or should I call the out of hours to be sure ? It’s worse when I take a deep breath in ?

@hopefullsosbry Sorry to feel this way. Could you perhaps give them a call to let them know and they can advise you? However, if it gets really bad, maybe urgent care (not A&E). Hot water bottle and some rest with lots of water might help also. X

@hopefullsosbry I haven’t had that pain before no, could it be if they had to prod you a bit to reach it? I would call the out of hours and see what they say and keep an eye on it. Make sure you’re drinking lots of fluids too just in case it could be OHSS - I’m sure it’s not but you can’t be too careful. Sending hugs, hope it passes!

@hopefullsosbry do you think it could be acid and maybe some gas from the strong pain relief and sedation? That can happen especially with the bloat etc and then cause discomfort in the chest too.
Just keep a close eye on it and if you get any shortness of breath defo go to A&E. hopefully it's not too bad and the pain subsides asap x

I feel like AF is fighting to start. Awful cramps, headache and just feel off. It’s like it’s trying it hardest to breakthrough. Maybe that or the bloody Cyclogest.

Have you tested again @PurpleRayne89 or are you staying strong? Keep the faith! Those symptoms could be pregnancy too (or the cyclogest!). The waiting in IVF is the worst!! I wish we had a fast forward button 🤣

@HopefulllHolly Me strong? Haha, I POAS today and it was BFN. I think it’s the cyclones winding me up lol. I’ve come to terms with it all now tbf. My OTD is Friday. I will update either way as i am sure someone will find my journey useful ☺️

So we finally heard from the embryologist this afternoon and have 12 ready to freeze today... she is going to update us on the remaining 6 tomorrow to see if any progress.
Amazing news but feel quite numb to it all after OHSS. Such a rollercoaster! X
