Hi,

Is anyone else planning on a FET in June? ☺️

I had my second cycle of ICSI in April and now have 8 frozen embryos.

I didn’t have a fresh transfer in April as there was some fluid left in my endometrium from ivf medication. I thought it best to wait till June so by then my body will be fully recovered.

The worry never ends does it! Please let us know how you get on but it sounds like it is old blood. Your body will be shifting to get things ready for the pregnancy so I wouldn’t worry.

@Always28 how are you getting on? Spotting always seems to come up as a normal pregnancy symptom. Have you managed to speak to the clinc? Keeping everything crossed for you.

@hja62 ah I'm with you on the evening sickness, it's not been too bad overall but generally mild nausea from around 4pm meaning I'm struggling to eat proper evening meals. This is my first pregnancy and I was expecting it to be much stronger so for now grateful it's just mild, although still panic when I have moments of feeling normal!
When is your first scan?

@amkw hope you are getting on ok with your tww. How many days post transfer now?

I’m finding this waiting around and the unknown so hard. I just want to know argh. I’m 5dp5dt today so it’s too early to test. They’ve told me to test on Sunday 14th. When did you test again? I’m tempted to test the day before…

How many weeks are you now? Have you had your scan? You must be over the moon! ❤️

@amkw it feels like the longest wait ever. That’s not a crazy amount of time until your OTD though. On my first cycle I held out on testing until my OTD. This time I’ve been rubbish and did a first test on 5dpt, partly because I felt like if it was negative, I would still feel really hopeful at that early stage! But I do honestly think the closer to your test date you can wait is probably better, as it doesn’t really ease any anxiety or waiting anyway!

@Natty2 hope you’re managing to eat enough when you’re feeling a bit better so that it doesn’t matter so much if you don’t have an appetite in the evenings. How far along are you now?

@hja62 sorry about your sickness too - although it is also reassuring feeling symptoms so not all bad I guess!

I haven’t had any more spotting since this morning. It’s making me anxious literally every time I go to the toilet though, and every twinge or cramp now feels quite scary. I called the clinic, sort of knowing what they would say, but thought it was worth checking in anyway. They basically said it’s really normal at this stage, that it could be implantation bleeding only just coming through and that it’s a good sign that it’s brown. They just said to call again if it gets any heavier. My OTD is Wednesday so I won’t test tomorrow and will just wait until then now. I did test this afternoon and the line was faint - but to be honest, I have drunk so much water today, it’s impossible to tell if it’s just that the urine was so diluted - it was really clear. I just need to wait and see.

That’s really reassuring that you’ve stopped spotting! The clinic don’t sound concerned at all from what you’ve said so that’s good! Im only 5dp and I am literally checking my knickers and tissue every time I go the toilet 😫

@amkw I completely get that, it feels like time stands still and still feels that way tbh!
I ended up testing on 8dp5dt but was trying to hold out until 10. I just really had strong period cramps and thought it was all over

I'm either 7+ 3 or 4. My scan was confusing, I went in on what was meant to be 6+6, measured at 6+5 but signed off as 7 weeks with due date brought forward a day. I think this will probably keep changing! We were really relieved but I think it lasted about a day before the anxiety came back again! Booked in for another private scan in 2 weeks and hoping all is continuing well 🤞

@Always28 relieved to hear you've had no more! I feel the worry everytime I go to the loo hasn't gone away, and the cramps and twinges are still here and quite strong at times. Keep us posted on Wednesday!

@Sierra26 is it your transfer date this week?

@Natty2 same here! Struggling to eat in the evenings! I ended up taking 2 weeks of work with my first (weeks 9&10 if I remember right) so I’m bracing myself for worse to come!! My first scan is this Thursday, I’m terrified 😕 have you had your first scan?

Thanks @Natty2 yes it’s tomorrow! I’m so worried the doctor is going to call in sick or something, it seems too hard to believe we’ve actually got to this point!

I’ve never been so 50/50 in all my life. I honestly have no gut feeling towards whether it’s going to work or not. I’ve just ordered my tests 😬😅🍀🙏

@hja62 i did read that 9/10 weeks is the hcg peak so can feel really rough!
Best of luck for Thursday 🥰 I had mine last Thurs and was discharged from the clinic at 7 weeks. Felt very abrupt all of a sudden to be leaving the ivf clinic! Booked a private scan in 2 weeks though just to have some reassurance

Aww @Natty2 it's a strange emotion to graduate from your fertility clinic! You're delighted but (for me anyway) it's been a long road with all the lovely doctors and nurses it's like saying goodbye to family! I have a private scan booked for 2 weeks later too, no way could I wait until 12 weeks!

@hja62 im ok thanks. No more spotting really - well (sorry for the tmi), had the tiniest bit of pale brown tinged mucus with a bowel movement, but it wasn’t much and I think was probably the end of what I had yesterday. I’m a little crampy today, but nothing major so 🤞🏻🤞🏻. OTD tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll get a nice strong line.

I ended up testing after 8 days in the end, and yes it was a 5 day transfer. Hope you're holding up ok!

It is my OTD today at 13dpt. These were my tests so feeling hopeful. Will call the clinic this morning.

It feels very odd and like it can’t be real. Has anyone else felt like that?

@Always28 so glad to hear there has been no more spotting, that's a good sign surely! Those tests look so strong!! I know what you mean about it not seeming real, it's a lot to process!! Will they give you a date for a scan now?

I’m considering testing 8 days after too. I’m just unsure whether it’s too early but realistically it’s not is it? Were you told to test on day 11? @Natty2

@amkw my otd wasn't until day 13! Which seems later than most. I ended up testing very spontaneously on second wee.
