Hi,

Is anyone else planning on a FET in June? ☺️

I had my second cycle of ICSI in April and now have 8 frozen embryos.

I didn’t have a fresh transfer in April as there was some fluid left in my endometrium from ivf medication. I thought it best to wait till June so by then my body will be fully recovered.

My “mild cold” from yesterday has turned into a different beast today. I’m bed bound with a fever over 38. I’m beside myself with worry for the baby, this is so unfair 😞

@hja62 I’m so sorry you’re so poorly. Have you taken paracetamol to help with the fever? It is really unfair and just another worry you don’t need. Really hope you shake it off super quickly.

Thank you - I feel ok, just in slight disbelief at the moment. We are going through this journey to try to have a baby but somehow it’s also hard to believe it will ever actually happen. So having an extra bit of hope now feels very odd.

I've just tested positive for COVID 😞 as if my worry wasn't enough 😢

@Always28 I know that feeling, I felt it on my first and same with this baby. Still can't really believe this actually could be happening and I could have a baby in my arms ❤️❤️ trying to remain hopeful but cautious when it's something you've wished for for so long.

@hja62 oh I'm sorry to hear that. If it helps ease the worry, I had covid with my first pregnancy at the beginning of the pandemic and he was unaffected... and came out with added immunity! Hope your fever can be controlled. Keep resting x

I had a scratchy throat and a bit headachy since Friday but thought nothing of it, I thought was just a mild cold. Only this morning I went downhill and temperature spiked. I've taken 3 lots of paracetomal as temp kept rising as it was wearing off, and the last lot is wearing off now and my temperature seems to be staying down thank god 🙏🏻 my husband reckons it's the fastest COVID ever 😂 I reckon my body knows how much it's been through to get here so it was all over it.....not today mate, not this body 😂😂

@hja62 my friend had Covid at the beginning of her pregnancy and it all turned out absolutely fine and had no effect. I know it’s so stressful, but chances are it will be all ok. Hope you can rest up plenty.

@lemonyfox i had a look at your photos and I would say my line does look similar to yours. Does your clinic do a blood test or do you just get asked to do a HPT?

@hja62 I also had Covid in my first pregnancy, at 36 weeks, he's turned out to be a bit of a nutter but I don't think that's down to Covid 😂 we were both totally fine and you'll be totally fine too ❤️

@Always28 no blood test, just a hpt on the 8th July as my official test date and they said they'll call that morning to find out from me what the result is. They'll then bring me in for a scan some time around 6-7 weeks I believe

My transfer is booked in for 3pm today. 🤞 ❤️
I have acupuncture at 2pm before the transfer and then again after the transfer.

@amkw Good luck! Hope it goes amazingly. Is the acupuncture at your clinic or elsewhere?

The acupuncture is at my clinic so it’s handy that I will go straight to transfer after it!

Ladies 🥺🥺 my heads fallen off, I can't believe it. Actually seeing those words!!

Hey ladies how’s everyone?

I started to bleed yesterday afternoon, the last almost 24hours have been emotional. I’m petrified and assuming it’s going to be bad news. I contacted my clinic and we’re going to wait until the scan we already had booked tomorrow afternoon to see what’s going on. They advised it doesn’t necessarily mean loss but told me to be guarded as it’s not a good sign. I kind of don’t want to even get to tomorrow and potentially confirm bad news.

I can absolutely see that line @Always28 the easy @ home cheapies were much more sensitive at the start for me than the FRERs and CB.

@Anna531 oh I'm so sorry, fingers crossed it's good news for you. I did read somewhere that bleeding in early pregnancy is more common than we'd think, in something like 15-20% of women 🤞🏻

@Anna531 Also forgot to say, I’ve got two friends who bled during early pregnancy and they were fine!

@lemonyfox so exciting! Congratulations. How do you feel? I've been too scared to do my digital but will soon I think.

@Anna531 I hope you're ok 💕 I bled with my first pregnancy and had a scan 24 hours later and everything was fine - they couldn't find a reason for it. I know it's terrifying. Hope it goes ok tomorrow and there is good news for you.

@Anna531 Hope you’re ok. I bled early on in my first pregnancy. It was bright red blood and I was convinced it was all over. But I had a scan and everything was fine. They didn’t really know why I’d bled but it didn’t affect anything at all.
