Hi,

Is anyone else planning on a FET in June? ☺️

I had my second cycle of ICSI in April and now have 8 frozen embryos.

I didn’t have a fresh transfer in April as there was some fluid left in my endometrium from ivf medication. I thought it best to wait till June so by then my body will be fully recovered.

I ended up testing again today. I will now stop for at least a couple of days! (I figure if I write that on here then it’ll make me stick to that).

Here is a photo of today’s line that appeared within three minutes. Today is 6dpt. It definitely looks stronger than yesterday. Just very much hoping it’s not a false positive.

@Hollielouise I don't blame you for waiting with the digitals, they're so expensive! I got a 2-pack and it was £18 and you know bloody what the first test out of the box didn't work!! It was an error display. Fuming 😂

@Always28 that's a very strong positive for 6dp! No way a false positive!!

Hi all, I hope everyone is keeping well.

Just wanted to post on here as I've also had a June FET. This is my first FET and I'm 6dpt. We have been trying for 4 years with male factor. My OTD is Monday 8th July, I've been too scared to test early!

I'm trying not to read into my symptoms as I know nothing other than a test is definitive, but I've had a few headaches since 4dpt, a couple of hot flushes and a spot of red in my CM on 4dpt (which now I'm thinking may have been imaginary 😂) - however I also have a cold which could account for some of the symptoms!

Thanks everyone for your messages. It didn’t go well today. I’m stopping my meds and then things should progress and we wait on a review appointment.
Can’t describe how devastated we are, I really feel for those of you who have went through this multiple times!!! But I’ll keep checking in on the chat and everyone’s journey and wish all of you a healthy, uneventful journey with nothing but success xx

Oh @Anna531 my heart goes out to you 💔💔 I was really praying for good news. It's devastating to get so far in the process and have the hope cruelly snatched away. It may not feel like it now but you will get through this, in your own time, in your own way. But right now be gentle to your breaking hearts while you grieve. I know I’m only 2dp5dt however I have ZERO symptoms. Did anyone have any symptoms yet?

The only symptom I had at that point was sore boobs, and that’s just a side effect of the progesterone so not even a symptom really. I think it’s way too early to tell - and even if you had symptoms, they could still just be to do with the drugs/hormones you’re taking.

It’s agonising waiting!! Hope you’re ok.

I’m driving myself a bit crazy. It’s impossible to think about anything else at the moment.

I’m now 8dp5dt. I have resisted testing today and I’m now going to try to wait until OTD to test again as really, it’s not going to change anything. It’s just making me incredibly nervous now I’ve seen a line, that if there’s no line on Wednesday, it will be more devastating. But I think obsessing over the darkness of lines in the meantime isn’t going to help me either… I tested yesterday and this was my line.

That’s a definite line! Try and stop worrying though it’s hilariously easier said than done!

Yes, logically I need to stop worrying. It’s funny as you think a positive test will reassure you, and of course it does temporarily, but then other worries creep in. I think it’s just the lack of control over the whole outcome. I’m going to head out to run a couple of errands shortly and distract myself.

@amkw I think the only thing I felt was hunger that early on, but it is very early days!!
I still feel like my symptoms haven't been that strong and come in waves. I know it's so hard not to symptom spot but hope you can have a stress free tww!

Definitely a good line. It's hard not to worry about line progression. I did end up testing every few days after I got my positive and took digitalis which were reassuring. But you're right, I always thought getting the positive test would be a relief but you worry so much more because you want it to be perfect! Hope you manage to keep distracted today

@amkw no symptoms in the early days...only sore boobs but as @Always28 said that's likely from the progesterone. I would say it was maybe a 15dp5dt I had noticeable symptoms, boobs were getting huge 🤣 and I was starting to feel a bit nauseous 🤢 I was very sick with my first pregnancy so was expecting it, albeit not this early. I had friends pregnant same time as me who didn't feel sick at all while I was off work for 2 weeks and couldn't get out of bed!! So every person and pregnancy is so different.

@Always28 I know exactly what you mean. The positive test gives you temporary reassurance then you're back to worrying! If it helps this pregnancy I was concerned about my line progression and my beta was more than doubling in 48 hours (big numbers too, from 1,400 to 3,500) so that just shows how fickle the line can be on the tests.

@Armandi110 I don't think anyone has reponded to you! But welcome and fair play to you for holding out testing (from a serial tester here 😂)! Will you have blood test on OTD or just home test?

I hope you're managing to relax and take care of yourself.
I crumbled and tested this morning and got a BFN. After 4 years of TTC and not a single BFP I feel absolutely crushed. My clinic only do home urine tests so thankfully I don't have a 4 hour round trip just for a blood test, feel so devastated that I may just stop the meds a day or two early so my period comes sooner.

Nope, only cramps which is started getting 5 days before transfer anyway with the pessaries!

I'm 8dp5dt today and my tests are still progressing okay I think, and I started with sore boobs today. Sore like they feel hot, if that makes sense

Hi @Armandi110 . Sorry you had a BFN today. Keep taking your meds and test again on OTD. I know lots of people get early BFPs, but there are always lots of other people who get them later. They push the test date out that far for a reason. You’re definitely not out yet at this stage. Hope you’re ok. Look after yourself.

That’s great your tests are progressing. Are you testing daily?

@Always28 I am, it's giving me reassurance really because there is a difference day to day. After our transfer my husband asked me to wait until OTD, and I did try, but now in reality I'm testing like twice a day 😅

My tests are a little darker at lunchtime than the first wee of the day, which is weird.
