FET June 2024

Hi,

Is anyone else planning on a FET in June? ☺️

I had my second cycle of ICSI in April and now have 8 frozen embryos.

I didn’t have a fresh transfer in April as there was some fluid left in my endometrium from ivf medication. I thought it best to wait till June so by then my body will be fully recovered.

🤞

Hi @hja62 thank you so much for your kindness in replying. I hope all is well and congratulations on your positive test,
I hope you're managing to relax and take care of yourself.
I crumbled and tested this morning and got a BFN. After 4 years of TTC and not a single BFP I feel absolutely crushed. My clinic only do home urine tests so thankfully I don't have a 4 hour round trip just for a blood test, feel so devastated that I may just stop the meds a day or two early so my period comes sooner.
Once again thanks for your kindness in being kind enough to reply to me, and all the best for your pregnancy X

@Armandi110 I wouldn’t stop meds yet! You’re only 7dpt aren’t you? There’s still hope!

@lemonyfox so glad youre lines are progressing. It’s reassuring!

@Always28 I am, it's giving me reassurance really because there is a difference day to day. After our transfer my husband asked me to wait until OTD, and I did try, but now in reality I'm testing like twice a day 😅

My tests are a little darker at lunchtime than the first wee of the day, which is weird.

That’s really great it’s giving you reassurance - and the lines do look really good.

Do you still get nervous every test you do? I didn’t test today, and I now feel really worried that when I next test the line will have just disappeared completely.

Always28 · 05/07/2024 18:09

I’ve bought a clear blue test to do on my official test day but it’s just the one that gives you a blue line. I thought about getting a ‘pregnant’ ‘not pregnant’ one but the thought of seeing ‘not pregnant’ on it somehow makes me feel more anxious and sad than just not having a line - I know that doesn’t seem to make any sense!

lemonyfox · 05/07/2024 18:57

@Always28 I know what you mean, and yes. I had a real wobble yesterday on 7dp because the line was really faint and I spiralled thinking it was game over. But I did another cheap test later in the day as well as a First Response and the lines came back better. I'd had a wee in the early hours of the morning and it must have thrown the concentration off.

Honestly I don't think the nerves or sick feeling of something going wrong will ever go away.

Always28 · 05/07/2024 19:10

I think you’re right. It’s all so nerve wracking.

Weirdly, when I tested yesterday, I deliberately didn’t do it first thing in the morning because I thought if I did it later in the day after drinking quite a bit, and the line was faint, I would feel better about it than if it was faint first thing in the morning 🙈.

lemonyfox · 06/07/2024 05:38

@Always28 it really is! Was your transfer date 27th June too? We've got the same OTD so I think it must be.

Hollielouise · 06/07/2024 07:20

Finally made it to OTD at 12dp5dt (!) and feeling hopeful! 🥰 My symptoms keep coming and going but have heard that's normal with cyclogest/Progynova? Generally feeling nauseous and dizzy most of the time 🫠

First Beta is on Monday - does anyone know what level is good?!

How far off OTD are you @lemonyfox ? Xx

That’s a lovely line @Hollielouise ❤️

In the middle of the night I had sharp pains on my lower left side just above my public bone. I’ve googled (obviously) and it doesn’t sound like implantation pains. Something was definitely going on though - could have been wind. Hopefully implantation though but hard to say as they were sharp pains to one side.

@amkw oh sorry to hear this - did it last long? I've had sharp one sided implantation pain on side with my first pregnancy and he is about to turn 4! It was like a pinching?

It didn’t last too long I’d say about 20 odd minutes. I’m only now this morning 3dpt so it could be something or nothing. Hoping it’s nestling in though ❤️ but the implantation pains I’ve read about have been more dull. Most people don’t even get pains. It was probably wind or maybe the progesterone pessaries? 😀

@Armandi110 I’m so sorry to hear that, I know that crushing feeling 😢 I echo what the other girls said, please don’t stop your meds early, it’s worth keeping going on the change, even if slim, that you may still get a positive. Stay strong xx

@Hollielouise that’s a really strong positive!! Congratulations on OTD 😊 I know my clinic wanted to see at least 250 on 14dp5dt but every clinic can be different. I’ve definitely heard of ladies who’s had lower though and still had successful pregnancies.

@amkw I’ve had loads of weird sharp pains so far, especially if I stand up after sitting for a long time! I think it’s normal x

Symptoms are getting stronger now...starting to struggle with the nausea and only 6w2d 🤢

lemonyfox · 06/07/2024 13:43

@Hollielouise two more days, Monday is OTD! Which is 11dp5dt for my clinic rather than 12. I don't think mine do a blood draw to test beta HCG though, at least not that they've told me. Would be nice to have one though just to know.

You've got a really great line for 12dp! Mine are still progressing but I was wondering if they should be darker now at 9dp5dt. Because in real life that would be 14dpo right? I'm probably over-worrying, can't be doing with all this anxiety it's doing my head in.

Natty2 · 06/07/2024 15:51

@Hollielouise @lemonyfox such great lines!
@lemonyfox mine was very similar at 9dpo and little bubba was doing well so far on my first scan, I know it's hard not to worry though!

@hja62 hope the nausea isn't too bad, I think I started to feel sick around then and off my food. Hope you have recovered from Covid too!

Hollielouise · 07/07/2024 11:14

Thanks everyone 🥰

@lemonyfox those are great lines!!! Mine haven't followed a clear progression as I've obviously drunk different amounts and done them at different times of day but generally gets darker every 3 days. How are you feeling?

lemonyfox · 07/07/2024 11:58

@Hollielouise I'm feeling okay thank you, no symptoms really! I've had a really massive jump in line darkness today too though which has really put my mind at ease.

Sorry everyone I'll stop with the obsessive gear photos now 😂

How are you feeling? Xx

Always28 · 07/07/2024 14:39

@lemonyfox todays line looks amazing! How are you feeling?

I think we had the same transfer date but my OTD isn’t until Wednesday - they do it at 13dpt at my clinic. Apparently it used to be 11dpt but they had a few cases where people then got positive tests a day or two after that so they’ve made it even more conservative.

I have been feeling really sick since yesterday afternoon, and absolutely exhausted. Hoping these are good signs - although realise it’s also a bit early for nausea 🤔.

Because of the nausea, and because I clearly have very little willpower, I tested again yesterday at 9dpt and this was my line which I think looks pretty good.

This line looks fantastic 👍🏻

lemonyfox · 07/07/2024 14:51

@Always28 bloody hell that's an amazing line for you at 9dp!!

Ah my clinic ask us to test at 11dp5dt and then repeat the test again at 13dp5dt. I did wonder why, because surely nobody would test negative at 11 days and then go on to test positive two days later? But if it's the other way around, they're testing again to make sure the line is still there in the case of case of chemicals, then that makes more sense.

Mine don't do a blood beta either, just the two preg tests and then a viability scan around 7 weeks I think. How about you? X

Always28 · 07/07/2024 14:59

@lemonyfox Mine is the same as yours - no bloods, just HPTs and then a scan at 7 weeks. They do the same where if it’s negative on test date, they ask you to test again 48 hours later just to make absolutely sure and then at that point you come off the meds if it’s negative.

I did feel like that was a strong line I got yesterday, and I’d been drinking a lot so the urine wasn’t that concentrated. I haven’t done any other types of test but hopefully that doesn’t make any difference (I am just overthinking everything 🤦🏻‍♀️).

lemonyfox · 07/07/2024 15:01

@Always28 it's alright, I'm an active member of the Overthinking Club with you 😂

Always28 · 07/07/2024 15:30

🤣🤣🤣 its nice to have company! Also nice to be at the same stage as someone else.

Do you think they will give you a scan date tomorrow or will you need to wait until Weds?

lemonyfox · 07/07/2024 15:38

@Always28 it really is ❤️

Wednesday I'd assume! So I guess it'll be week commencing 22nd July at some point if they do it between 6-7 weeks.

Always28 · 08/07/2024 09:30

Morning all. Hope everyone is doing ok.

Ive just had a bit of a panic as just went to the toilet and had a small bit of brown spotting when I wiped. I’m 11dpt today. Really hoping it’s just old blood from implantation that’s taken a while to find its way out. But it’s not great.

hja62 · 08/07/2024 10:38

Thanks @Natty2 ! Yes fully recovered from Covid thank god, just extremely tired now but that is likely just the pregnancy! Nausea is in full swing, it’s evening sickness for me, not morning! Mornings are my best time, but I really struggle as the day goes on and evenings are my worst! It was the same with DD. How is yours?

@lemonyfox that’s great progression!!

@Always28 I’m sorry to hear about this, what a worry 😢😢 as long as it doesn’t get any heavier or bright red I think it wouldn’t be anything to worry about. Are you on any vaginal progesterone? These can irritate someone too and cause a bit of spotting.
