Hi, couldn't see a thread for June yet so thought I would start one.

I'm on long protocol so actually starting down regulation on 28th May, egg collection not scheduled in until 8th July.

I am on NHS and this will be my first round. Was referred less than a year ago now and have managed to loose 2 and a half stone to get my BMI down.

Anyone else due to start around June?

@CakePigeon30 great news! I am too - mines 10:30am on weds so we’ll be in around the same time 🥰🙌 hope your trigger goes well. Is there a too big size? My biggest was 21 and had 3 of them, the rest were between 12-18. Gone all nervous now 😂 dunno what’s wrong with me. Least we can have the rest of the day to take it easy! And eat 😅

@CakePigeon30 just seen this. I’ve not had it myself but after a google, seems like it’s not uncommon with stims causing your hormones to be out of whack. When would your usual period be? Maybe that just is messing with your hormones a bit?

@GCS34 hoping it's the hormones. The scan was also a little uncomfortable today so thinking it could be off that?

@CakePigeon30 has it continued or was it just a little for a few hours? Perhaps ring the clinic just to advise. How was the trigger?

@CakePigeon30 @SlinkMcSlink @GCS34 thanks for the concern! I feel better today. I just got a call from the clinic saying 11 of my eggs fertilized and my next call will be on Sunday (day 6) to tell me how many are good enough to freeze.

@CakePigeon30 i hope the bleeding has stopped! Did you manage to check with the doctor what’s going on?

So I’ve had the phone call and I’ve got 4 embryos that have gone into the freezer! Yay!! 🙌

So what now?? My withdrawal came today so I’m guessing end of August transfer?

Just wondering if someone could help me with timings when it comes to egg collection? I'm a total newby at this so it's all a bit overwhelming.

I'm starting stims 28 July with my 10 day scan booked for 6 August. When is my egg collection likely to be? I wrote loads of notes from my initial consults but looking back at the timelines I can't work them out 🙈

Hi @BirdIsland - I'm scheduled about a week behind you following my cancellation last month. I'm on short protocol, with my first stimulant injection planned for the 5th August and first mid scan 12th August. They hope for egg collection on the 16th August. I hope that helps give you an idea!

@BirdIsland its usually about 9 to 13 days if stims before trigger and collection 36 hours after that so on day 11 to 15. It does vary though depending on how you respond.

@BirdIsland what the girls have said. 9-14 days of stims depending on how you respond, then after the last stim injection, collection is about 2 days later. So for me, I did 11 days of stims, and my collection is tomorrow (which will be the 14th day)

@SlinkMcSlink if you start the meds off the back of your next period, so that’ll mean starting FET meds about 4 weeks time, and 2 weeks after you start (ish) you transfer, so about 6 weeks from now I’d say.

@GCS34 good luck today! I am sooooo nervous. What are you taking with you? My info says to pick pyjamas and dressing gown but don't know if that's what everyone else takes lol

Has anyone got the Zita West ivf diet book? I was just wondering what sort of foods are included? I’m a bit fussy with food and don’t want to buy it if I can’t use it

@CakePigeon30 omg me too and I’ve no idea why! I’ve just taken some snacks, a sanitary pad and just what I’m wearing so leggings and a baggy t shirt. My info pack just says no make up, jewellery, deodorant / perfume, food from midnight, water from 8:30 and bring a pad and wear something comfy. But I guess whatever makes you feel comfortable and chill.
