Hi, couldn't see a thread for June yet so thought I would start one.

I'm on long protocol so actually starting down regulation on 28th May, egg collection not scheduled in until 8th July.

I am on NHS and this will be my first round. Was referred less than a year ago now and have managed to loose 2 and a half stone to get my BMI down.

Anyone else due to start around June?

Two left in the freezer .. thinking I’m going to need to do another round asap

still feeling so unwell from January think I’ll need a few months before any FET

@Rebekah77 2 Frosties is great. What makes you think that you’ll need another fresh round? Will you not try the frozens first? Did you get ohss in Jan? I had that in July and was in hospital for 2 days with fluid on my liver kidney and diaphragm. Hope you feel better soon 🥺🥺

Congratulations @Zeeha!! that’s awesome. Do you know what you’re having? I’m 21 weeks this Saturday and currently being beating up by her as I type this 😍 the feeling never gets old does it. How has your pregnancy been so far and you’re officially in the 3T!! Xx

Thank you @GCS34 and congratulations to you too! Definitely, being able to feel the movement is great.

We're having another girl! Her big sister is 18 months, so they're going to keep us on our toes 😂

It's been quite a rocky ride to be fair. I had a SCH early on with heavy bleeding, which led me to think the worst. Thankfully that resolved itself by 13 weeks. Then I was told I may have placenta accreta with bladder involvement, potentially requiring an early c section followed by a hysterectomy. That really got to me. After a referral to fetal medicine, then another referral to a specialist, they seem to think the initial suspicion was wrong, so I'm praying the specialist is correct as I felt like a ticking time bomb! I do still have placenta previa which hasn't budged so far, so currently it's looking like we'll be meeting her early between 37-38 weeks.

I truly hope your experience so far has been better than mine? 🙏

@Zeeha so sorry you had such worried the whole way through. SCH are really scary and naturally think the worst. I had a bit of a bleed around 6 weeks, and like you thought the worst. That’s scary about suspected accreta. Can they operate then after birth to remove the placenta? Fingers crossed they are right in that it’s not what they originally thought.

I have had a few bumps. I have been monitored for the last 5 weeks for short cervix which comes with the risk of preterm birth. My last scan of it Monday showed it as normal and stable so fingers crossed it stays there. But I am on progesterone for the remainder of pregnancy but can cope with that.

I have placenta previa too. Well, not full previa but low lying and 7mm from cervix but they’re confident it’ll move. But we’ll see! Are you definitely having a section then? I am hoping for natural if placenta moves. I’m still so anxious though. I don’t think I’ll relax until she’s here to be honest. Sure you are the same too.

@GCS34 it's definitely took a lot of enjoyment away! Nothing seems to ever be straight forward 😬 It sounds as though they think the placenta should detach ok. I guess if I end up requiring a c-section due to previa then they'll be ready to sort whatever is required then. I don't want a c-section, but no choice if the cervix is blocked 😅 7mm at your gestation is very promising! Mines still on the cervix and is anterior over the extended scar I have from an emergency c-section, so I think my odds of it moving are about 50-50 at this stage.

How do they become aware of a short cervix? Is it something they pick up on at a scan or from symptoms? I hope it stays stable for you! I'm guessing you're supposed to be taking it easy to try not put too much pressure on it, like with previa?

My current worry is over fluid but they're trying to reassure me. I developed oligohydramnios in my previous pregnancy and had to be induced. My fluid although within normal range has plummeted on the graph and one quadrant had none 🤔 Atleast I have another scan in two weeks where they can check again and I'll keep downing water to try help in the mean time.

Hope all goes well for you 🙏

hey @Zeeha how are you getting on? And how is everyone else doing? x

strawberrylaces12 · 28/04/2025 17:46

Wow how time flies! I'm 24 weeks pregnant, expecting a boy in August 🥰

How's everyone else getting on? I imagine there's some babies and soon to be babies depending on when people had success!

Zeeha · 28/04/2025 21:07

Hi @GCS34 - things certainly haven't been straight forward! Complete previa resolved itself at 32 weeks. Near the end now and things are looking good. Final growth scan today at 38+3 and she's all on track. BP was high, so I may need some medication again to help, however that's easily monitored at least. Sweep tomorrow morning to try get things going as attempting a VBAC! Hope all is well with you? 😊

@strawberrylaces12 amazing news and happy viability!!! Huge milestone I always think. Another summer baby too. I’m 30+2 so only 10 weeks left to go. Starting to get real now 🥹 how you found it mentally?

@Zeeha oh wow great news on previa. My LLP resolved too and been cleared for a natural birth if I want one which I do so very pleased! Sorry you’ve had a rough journey. How is the fluid situation? are you still low or is it back up? Great news on the sweep and things getting close. Bet you’re so ready now. Xx

Thank you!! Ooh exciting not long then! How are you feeling?

I've been doing well thanks, the start or pregnancy I was really anxious about something going wrong but the more I get through it the more relaxed overall I am. Starting to buy a few bits here and there which is exciting. Hopefully buying some of the bigger things like pram etc in the next month or so 😊

@strawberrylaces12 Awww lovely! Sounds like you're really enjoying it now which is great. Are you feeling him move lots and has your partner felt him yet? I've not bought my pram yet either! Although the nursery is almost done jsut needs painting.

I'm okay but really struggling with anxiety and worrying it's all going to go wrong. I have constant worries about her movement etc, and trusting myself. I am consultant led which is good as I have regular growth scans. I have another in 2 weeks so that's good and definitey helps. She is diddy though which stresses me out. x

Yeah I've been feeling kicks since just after the 20 week scan (felt some movement before then but it was less obvious what it was). The kicks seem to be getting stronger and more often. There's been quite a pattern since they started really, so that's been very reassuring each day. Yeah my wife felt him for the first time on our wedding anniversary a few weeks ago which was lovely! And now we watch to see outside kicks and movement too 🥰

Oh no I'm sorry to hear you've been anxious, it's so hard isn't it. I always thought once I got pregnant (after all the fertility stuff) the anxiety would mostly go but it can be just as bad and changes what the anxiety is about. Do you have a pattern for movements? I'm glad you are consultant led and have extra scans. I'm the same (maybe not as many scans), got scans at 32 and 36 weeks due to a fibroid that has been growing but thankfully out of the way currently. Aww apparently I was 'small for dates' when my mum was pregnant and now I'm 5ft8 😂 fingers crossed all will be okay 😊 x

@strawberrylaces12 Awwww lovely and so lovely that your wife felt him on your anniversary. Too cute. I felt her move first properly (like kick on my hand) at 18+5 and my husband felt him at 18+6 so I was very lucky! But i'm also really slim and tall and they said that helps. And watching your belly is literally the best TV ever. I love it.

I think we're always going to be anxious just because of the journey we've all been on to get here, and every pregnant MTB is anxious, it's just bad some days. Yeah she has a pattern, it's just that movements change in the third trimester and more rolls and pushes than big kicks, so it's been a bit of an adjustment. that and position being head down now feels different. Saying that she did a massive internal kick on my bladder earlier and I peed haha!

Good you have extra check ins though. I have my 32 week scan next week but not sure if there is a plan for another after that. I might ask my consultant for a 36 week one just for piece of mind. And yeah she's fine - it's not IUGR and her placenta and cord are both functioning fine, has a big belly etc, she's just petite.

Aww I bet it was so nice to feel especially that early on. I have an anterior placenta so wasn't expecting to feel movement and then also regular kicks quite as often. But also slim and tall so maybe that helps!

Yeah definitely. I had a bit of a panic Tuesday evening and yesterday because although I'd been feeling kicks and movement still it felt a bit reduced in terms of usual pattern and softer too. I held off calling the maternity advice line since I'm only 24 weeks so was thinking it's a bit early but was tempted to today if I hadn't have felt more but thankfully he's back to beating me up from the inside, lots of regular strong kicks and movement. I did read up to 28 weeks you can have quieter days. But definitely going to keep monitoring throughout 😊

Really good to know about the change in movement, is that because there is less space? Haha aww, well weirdly it's a reassuring sort of event 😂

That sounds really positive then 🥰

How's everyone getting on? 😊

@GCS34 are you well and truly in the new born era?

I'm just coming up to 38 weeks which is mad where the time has gone but so exciting. I'm feeling a bit apprehensive about the birth but have sort of accepted what will be will be 😅 any tips for birth and/or newborn life are very welcome!!

@strawberrylaces12 awww amazing!! How are you feeling? Being pregnant in the heatwave was rough right?
I have a little 2 week old — Willow Hope was born 10 days late, via emergency c section and was 6lbs 5oz of beauty.
really exciting for your birth. Have you had any signs yet? X

Awww congratulations!! That's so lovely to hear 🥰 how have the first two weeks been? Bet it's tiring? 😅

Yeah I've definitely not enjoyed the heat 🥵 but otherwise doing well thanks, still keeping going with dog walks etc to keep mobile. Feeling heavier now though! I think I've had braxton hicks but hard to know for sure as baby's movements can be strong too. Any sort of cramping etc I'm briefly like 👀 but no actual signs. Baby has been head down and engaged for a while so I'm sort of used to that pressure now! Xx
