Bfp at 10/11dpo.. Could it still be from hcg trigger?

Hi I’m on my second letrozole cycle, had 2 mature follicles and got an hcg trigger shot 5000iu 12 days ago.
Got a bfp this morning at 10/11dpo (see pic), could it still be from the trigger shot or is this real 🙈

Hi @Rac3693 this is tentatively looking really encouraging! I would have thought the trigger would have been out of your system by now but I’m afraid only time will tell - my clinic told me to wait til 14dpo because of this. I had a trigger about 9.5 days ago which I am testing out, and when I took a test this morning there was still a very very very faint second line, so given how dark yours is I would be hopeful?! Fingers crossed for you!! 🤞🤞🤞

@Rac3693 I’m actually supposed to wait til Saturday to test but it’s DH’s bday then so I don’t want to spoil it by being upset if / when I get another official negative (I’ve never had a ‘real’ bfp - only positive caused by the trigger - so I’m not holding out much hope) that’s why I decided to test the trigger out so I can sort of ready myself one way or other! It’s such an emotional minefield! I had a natural cycle this month (except am also on progesterone now) so if it doesn’t work will try Letrozole as well as hcg trigger / progesterone next cycle…

I’m also on progesterone for now and will continue on if I’m pregnant…
If you have to go on Letrozole next month, I found it really good, no side effects and I have an older dd conceived with it a couple of years ago! All hope is not lost! @hopingforapeainapod

Forgot to ask, do you know how many iu’s the trigger you got was? Just wondering if you’re still seeing a very faint line after 9.5 days

@Rac3693 that’s really good to know! My trigger shot was 400mg - not sure what that is in IU I’m afraid?!

Just did another test now… i think it looks darker 🙈 eeeek really praying this is real and not the trigger??

@Rac3693 this definitely looks darker! 🤞really promising!! I tested this morning 10.5 days post-trigger / 9dpo, and the second line has definitely gone so think the trigger is finally out but now worried the second line isn’t going to come back :(

@Rac3693 9dpo I think? So still early, but don’t really have any pregnancy symptoms other than tiredness and slightly sore boobs, both of which I think are caused by the progesterone…

Yes I have the same symptoms… so ur still in with a big chance! 9 dpo is super early and at least you know if there is a second line after today it wont be because of the trigger….

@Rac3693 I did and I really don’t know what to think - I’m having a serious case of line eyes!! Top one is yesterday, bottom one is this morning’s - is hard to catch on camera but I think I see a vvvvv faint line / shadow?! Could still be trigger though?! I also don’t know if I am just seeing things / clutching at straws…

I definitely see something there although it looks abit like an evap 🙈

This was mine from this morning.. and I got a pregnant 1-2 weeks on a clearblue digital! So I think this is it!

@Rac3693 I don’t know if this picture is any better (I had the flash on this time) - I agree I am a bit worried it might be an evap :/ I’ve never even had an evap before so not too sure how to tell the difference… eurgh I told myself I wouldn’t become a crazy person about this but here we are!

Hi Everyone, I have never posted before but going through my first cycle of Letrozole 2.5mg with trigger. In my 2WW wait too, currently 12DPO. I was also worried about trigger too, so started testing a few days after ovulation 🙈, even though I was told to wait until 14DPO. I got a faint line yesterday, which looks to have got slight darker today….will hold out until Thursday before I get too hopeful. Wishing everyone luck!

@GS7 took a test this morning and is definitely darker / thicker and also definitely pink so I don’t think it’s an evap 🥺 I’m 11dpo today and I think my test (the bottom one) looks very similar to yours on 11dpo! How are you getting on? Any symptoms?
