Bfp at 10/11dpo.. Could it still be from hcg trigger?

Hi I’m on my second letrozole cycle, had 2 mature follicles and got an hcg trigger shot 5000iu 12 days ago.
Got a bfp this morning at 10/11dpo (see pic), could it still be from the trigger shot or is this real 🙈

@Rac3693 Yes it will be the 12 week scan next for me too. Agree it couldn't come soon enough! I do need to contact my GP though and let them know, as I think that starts the process!

Yes or depending on the hospital, you might be able to self refer @GS7

I’ve got another scan a week on Tuesday when I’ll be 9.5 weeks and I’m hoping if that’s all good I can tell a few more people then 🤞 then a midwife appointment when I am 10.5 weeks - I feel like that is relatively late?

@GS7 @Rac3693 how are you both getting on? I’m 9.5 weeks and just had another scan and everything is looking really positive - measuring exactly right, strong heartbeat, and was so surreal to see its tiny arms and legs moving! Hope you are both well xx

I’ve been struggling with mucus buildup in my throat & a very chesty cough, but otherwise well. Had my first antenatal appointment at the hospital today (about 10 weeks + 5 days), so they said I should have my 12 week scan in the next two weeks. I wish I had booked another scan privately, as it feels like such a long wait to make sure everything is okay, especially as my symptoms come & go or feel non-existent at times!

all well by me too! Also had my first appointment with a midwife this week - wasn’t impressed with her attitude I have to say but hopefully was a one off and the others will be nicer.
Have the nhs scan booked for in 2 weeks time, slightly nervous for it!

@GS7 it was very surreal… Couldn’t believe how much it had changed in 2/3 weeks! I’m sorry to hear you’ve not been well, doesn’t sound much fun on top of pregnancy! I’ve been struggling with symptoms a lot over the last couple of weeks - exhaustion, hunger, nausea, dizziness - but I feel a bit better today so I’m really hoping I might start to turn a corner now, especially once I hit 10 weeks!

@Rac3693 ah I’m sorry you didn’t have the greatest experience with your midwife. I’ve got my booking appointment next week and then my 12 week scan the week after - I know what you mean about the nerves!! Even though I feel a lot more reassured from yesterday I’m still worried about them finding lots of other things wrong and having to wait for the blood tests to come back - I wonder if the worrying ever ends! I am so excited to be able to tell more people though, has been so strange walking around with this huge secret!

How are you both getting on? @GS7 @hopingforapeainapod I have the NT scan booked in for Thursday and my anxiety is throught the roof 🙈 when are yours’?

Hey @Rac3693 mine is on Tuesday! Very excited (this feels like such a milestone) but also very nervous! I hadn’t realised as well that you don’t get the screening bloods back straightaway, so even if the NT measurement looks okay I’m probably still gonna be a nervous wreck until that’s confirmed!

@GS7 @Rac3693 had my 12 week scan today and all went well! Baby measuring exactly 12 weeks so due date come forward slightly to the 23rd of October! Measurements all looked good and heartbeat strong so feeling super relieved. Best of luck for Thursday girls xxx

Now you can rest knowing all is well, Thursday can’t come quick enough for me! So nervous about the NT measurements etc!

NT and bloods came back low risk for all trisomies! The scan went really well! So happy and excited!

We have the same due date by the way! Also 23rd October! @hopingforapeainapod

@Rac3693 ah congratulations! And how funny we have the same due date - hopefully a lucky one 🙏 that’s so good you got your bloods back straight away as well! I‘be told myself if I don’t hear back by tomorrow 5pm I can assume no news is good news but I can’t wait to just be able to tell people!

Did they tell you that the bloods would take a few days? Yes was so surprised when they said I’ll get a blood result within the hour - really fantastic! What was your NT measurement? Usually if that’s low, you’ll most likely be in the clear. @hopingforapeainapod

My NT was 1.3mm.
After the bloods the risk is:
1 in 17,493 for trisomy 21
<1 in 20,000 for trisomy 18/13

@Rac3693 so basically they told me that if the bloods were high risk, they would call me in around 3 working days, but if they are low risk I will get a letter in the post in 2-3 weeks!! Which seems incredibly old-fashioned and slow but hey ho. So I just have to assume no news is good news! They could see a nasal bone (which is quite reassuring re Downs) and my NT measurement was also 1.3mm, so I’m hoping they are both good signs. I just wish they didn’t make you wait though! That’s great everything came back so low for you :)

@Rac3693 @hopingforapeainapod Scan went well today! Took a while to get measurements as baby was energetic and kept getting into the wrong position, but finally got there. They confirmed 12weeks & 3days so due date of 21st October. They took bloods, expecting results within 72 hours.
