Bfp at 10/11dpo.. Could it still be from hcg trigger?

Hi I’m on my second letrozole cycle, had 2 mature follicles and got an hcg trigger shot 5000iu 12 days ago.
Got a bfp this morning at 10/11dpo (see pic), could it still be from the trigger shot or is this real 🙈

No nothing… they said to continue on the progesterone and then come in for a scan at 6/7 weeks. @hopingforapeainapod

@hopingforapeainapod Definitely getting darker! Very exciting :) Keep testing and hopefully it will get darker. Sharing my results for last few days for comparison. I felt quite bloated a few days ago & the fatigue has really started to kick in. Also feeling quite hot at night. Have you got any symptoms? 🤞🏼

@Rac3693 yeah I did - I think it’s looking good 🤞🤞🤞 12dpo today - I can’t believe I have to wait til Monday though to have it officially confirmed by the clinic - this has already been the longest week ever! 😂 how are you getting on?

@GS7 I haven’t had many symptoms and the ones I have it’s hard to tell because I’m on progesterone so might be caused by that (eg sore boobs). Felt veryyyyy tired today but that might also be the emotional exhaustion of it all - I have genuinely looked at my tests dozens of times each day in disbelief and getting excited but not wanting to get too excited!

Having minimal symptoms which I’m sure are mostly down to the progesterone!

Congrats @Rac3693 and @hopingforapeainapod !! Great lines! Do you mind me asking how many dpo or days past transfer you are? I'm 11dp5dt so effectively 16dpo and worried about how slowly lines are progressing. I haven't tested today - trying to hold out til OTD Sunday!

Hi! @MotherOfShihTzus I am 15/16dpo so same day as you! Your lines are still very much there, have you used a digital to confirm?
Also what is the sensitivity of the tests you are using? Mine are 10miu so I’m assuming that’s why I’m getting strong lines..

@Rac3693 thank you for your response. Tests are 10miu so same as yours. Digital positives Tues and weds so trying to hold onto some hope!

I’m sure it’s fine! I think the main thing is seeing some sort of progression on the lines rather than how strong it actually is..
everyone’s hcg levels differ - some have more than others in the beginning @MotherOfShihTzus

@Rac3693 yup these are my tests from yesterday - am 14dpo today and waiting until this afternoon to test again as I find my lines actually tend to be darker then than in the morning! I’m knackered and have sore boobs but that may just be the progesterone!

@MotherOfShihTzus I can also see progression on your lines! I think it’s hard to tell because hcg levels can vary wildly at these early stages and it also slightly depends on the date of implantation! I think a digital positive should hopefully reassure you - get one of the ones which gives you the date in the window! I’m going to do one on Monday and hoping I get a 2-3 weeks sign as think I will be 16dpo then…

@Rac3693 unfortunately, after having had digital 'pregnant' through the week, mine this morning was 'not pregnant' so I'm more than likely out. Taking it pretty hard. Blaming myself as I was 3 hours late taking my progesterone on Tuesday night, and it was weds morning my lines started to get slightly weaker x

@MotherOfShihTzus ah I’m so sorry - please don’t blame yourself as I’m sure taking your progesterone 3 hours later won’t have made a difference - my doctor told me I didn’t need to be religious about it as long as I took it each evening. Have you tried with SMU / later in the afternoon? Just because that’s when I find my lines are darker, and a one off ‘not pregnant’ could be for lots of reasons eg your urine being more diluted? I really hope you get some answers soon and I am crossing my fingers for you 🤞🤞🤞

So sorry for you!!! @MotherOfShihTzus can’t believe it ended up negative!!! Hoping you get a bfp that sticks next cycle, its really emotionally draining. Hope you’re ok!
