Hi I’m on my second letrozole cycle, had 2 mature follicles and got an hcg trigger shot 5000iu 12 days ago.
Got a bfp this morning at 10/11dpo (see pic), could it still be from the trigger shot or is this real 🙈

Hey @Rac3693 all good thanks, 16dpo today and got a really strong line yesterday and 2-3 weeks on a clearblue digital today 🤞 starting to get a few more symptoms as well - I am ridiculously hungry! Got a blood test on Thursday so hoping all good. How are you getting on?

Aaaah so happy!! I’m at exactly the same stage as you, perhaps 2 days ahead at 18dpo! Also got a digital 2-3 this morning!
Got one more digital left, hoping to get a 3+ next week! @hopingforapeainapod

@Rac3693 eee congrats so pleased it is going well for both of us 🤞🤞 this wait for the scan is going to be the longest couple of weeks of my life!

Rac3693 · 19/02/2024 12:51

Same!! And about the hungry symptom, I find myself never ending eating!
Have you got a date for a scan yet? @hopingforapeainapod

@Rac3693 @hopingforapeainapod So happy for you both! I also just tested yesterday and also showing 2-3 weeks on test (currently 18DPO). I was told by my clinic that they will do an early scan at 5/6 weeks on 11th March.
I’ve managed to either catch a cold or I have early pregnancy rhinitis (not sure which one - I have a very runny nose, sneezing a lot and suffering from headaches). Also not sleeping very well, maybe 4 hours a day. Hopefully its temporary. Hope you both are well!

Congrats @GS7 we are on the same dpo! Hope you feel better..
I’m falling asleep in the early evening from exhaustion and then not sleeping at night! You will probably be 7.5 weeks by the 11th march scan?

hopingforapeainapod · 19/02/2024 14:48

@Rac3693 not yet, they said they would book me in for a scan when I come in for my bloods in approx 2 weeks time, so I imagine when I’m about 7 weeks? How about you? I hear quite conflicting things about when the best time for an early scan is!

@GS7 looking good! Hope your cold feels better soon!

out of interest, when do you think you will both stop taking pregnancy tests?! DH says I can stop now lol but I think I want to wait until my bloods come back, but I can also just see myself not wanting to stop at all!

Rac3693 · 19/02/2024 14:54

I’ve got a scan booked in with my clinic on 13th march. But I’m hoping to do a private one beforehand next week on 29th feb when I should be 6 weeks exactly just to put myself at ease - slightly nervous it might be twins as I ovulated 2 follicles!

I will probably stop testing once I get the 3+ on the clearblue digital or after the scan! Whichever comes first 😁@hopingforapeainapod

@Rac3693 I hear you. I’m also trying to nap during the day to make up for sleepless nights. Yes, I think about 7 weeks by then…

@hopingforapeainapod, I’ve stopped testing daily. I might just test once (or twice) a week up until the scan. My husband told me to stop testing too, but it’s hard to stop completely!

Rac3693 · 21/02/2024 08:06

Yay I got a 3+ today on a digital, think I’m 20/21dpo now!! Super excited + relieved!!
Either of you tested again? @GS7 @hopingforapeainapod

@Rac3693 thats great news :) I was considering holding off until my scan on 11th March, but that is still 2+ weeks away! Are you still considering the private scan before your appt at the clinic on 13th March?

Rac3693 · 21/02/2024 12:28

Yes I think so! Even if there’s not much to see at that point, I would love to know that everything’s ok and how many there are 🙈 @GS7

@Rac3693 Let us know how it goes!

hopingforapeainapod · 21/02/2024 18:38

Congrats @Rac3693! I’m still doing my cheapie strips, lines are super dark / darker than the control line now! How many dpo do you think you need to be to get 3+ on a Clearblue digital? I’m 18dpo today I think so wondering whether to buy another one. Going for my blood test tomorrow so really hoping my HCG levels are where they need to be 🤞🤞🤞

Rac3693 · 21/02/2024 19:03

Amazing! Really pleased for you! I think you might already get a 3+ tomorrow morning - seeing as your test lines are stronger than control ones. If you are anyways having bloods done tomorrow, you might as well wait to see what your hcg result is - if its higher than around 2800, you should get a 3+ on the digital! @hopingforapeainapod

hopingforapeainapod · 22/02/2024 17:17

@Rac3693 just got my HCG bloods back and they were 2411 so exactly where they should be I think so feeling very relieved!

Rac3693 · 22/02/2024 17:20

Fantastic!!! @hopingforapeainapod
Will you be having more bloods to check it’s rising or just a scan later on?

OP posts:
hopingforapeainapod · 22/02/2024 17:26

@Rac3693 they said they are happy with my levels so no need for a repeat test - just a scan 2 weeks today when I will be 7 weeks!!

Rac3693 · 24/02/2024 23:28

@hopingforapeainapod @GS7 how you both getting on? Any more symptoms?
By me they’re coming and going, one day fine, the next shattered and running to the loo!

OP posts:
hopingforapeainapod · 25/02/2024 11:16

@Rac3693 yeah my symptoms really come and go too! I generally feel better in the mornings and then feel exhausted in the afternoons. Main symptom over the last couple of days has just been intense hunger - I am starving all the time!! Also sore boobs still and having to go to the loo in the middle of the night which is quite unusual for me. How about you? Any nausea yet? That is definitely what I am dreading the most - all the other symptoms I think I could handle but I absolutely hate being sick!

Rac3693 · 25/02/2024 19:16

No nausea at all yet @hopingforapeainapod not sure if that’s a good or bad thing 😅

OP posts:
GS7 · 26/02/2024 10:10

@Rac3693 same on my side too! Symptoms have been on/ off. I had a few days last week where I felt completely fine and started to worry a bit 😅. Generally still very tired, have sore boobs and bloating/ aches from time to time. My stomach was also upset yesterday, not sure if it’s something I ate or pregnancy related symptoms. Thankfully no nausea yet!

hopingforapeainapod · 26/02/2024 11:10

@Rac3693 haha I think definitely a good thing!

@GS7 I’m the exact same, felt incredibly ‘normal’ yesterday and started to worry a bit but then today woke up feeling much more obviously ‘pregnant’. I have also woken up with a bit of an upset stomach as well and wondering the exact same thing.

I had my parents come and stay this weekend and I told them I was pregnant and it now feels even more real. My mum is SO excited though (first grandchild on both sides) so I really need to somehow get her to rein it in / remember it is such early days!!

GS7 · 26/02/2024 13:02

@hopingforapeainapod Glad I’m not the only one feeling this way with on/off symptoms. I’ve read elsewhere its quite normal in early stages, but easy to worry!

It’s so lovely to hear that your mum is so excited. I told my mum & sisters too and also trying to manage excitement levels, it’s not easy. I also keeping getting advice on do’s and don’ts and it can be a bit overwhelming at times when you’re trying to stay neutral until week 12! Looks like we’re all on a similar journey together x
