Bfp at 10/11dpo.. Could it still be from hcg trigger?

Hi I’m on my second letrozole cycle, had 2 mature follicles and got an hcg trigger shot 5000iu 12 days ago.
Got a bfp this morning at 10/11dpo (see pic), could it still be from the trigger shot or is this real 🙈

@Rac3693 @GS7 I got mine back on Monday as well, also 1 in 5000! Such a relief!

@hopingforapeainapod @Rac3693 How are you both doing? Hope symptoms are starting to get better now. I have very little to no symptoms, which does make me worry from time to time, but just need to be patient and trust that everything is okay!

@GS7 I’m good thank you! Definitely feeling much much more normal now - still get quite tired in the evenings and need to go to the loo at night but nausea / sore boobs / other symptoms have gone! How are you? I totally know what you mean about the worry - until I look more pregnant or feel movements it’s hard not to be like hello are you still in there?!?! The 20 week scan feels sooo far away as well - mine isn’t til the 7th of June!! I am increasingly tempted to book a 16 week scan (and maybe find out the sex then too!) just to break up the wait a bit…

@hopingforapeainapod Sorry for my late reply, its been a bit hectic recently! Glad to hear that you’re well and feeling better. It certainly does feel like a long wait!! I ended up having my GTT early as I had glucose in my urine last week and they were worried about GD. Got the results today during my midwife check-in and luckily it was all clear! The midwife did try to hear heartbeat today too but couldn't hear it. She said not to worry as baby is still very small (15+2 today), so quite normal. I definately cant wait till 20 weeks so have private wellbeing and gender scan on 11th May! I’m going on holiday the week after so would be more comfortable getting some reassurance before then!

Are you planning to wait till 20 week scan and do you have any midwife appointments before then?

@GS7 glad to hear all came back okay re GD, that must be a big relief! I’ve got my midwife appointment a week on Tuesday, so basically when I will be 17 weeks, so hoping I can hear the heartbeat then, but apparently not all trusts offer it so I’m not sure! So I basically cracked and ended up booking a private scan for a week today - was only £65 so I thought why not! Also it’s funny you mention that you’re going away as I’m also going on holiday end of May so so decided to have a scan for that reason - thought it would be best to just double check all is looking okay as I don’t have my 20 week scan until after I get back! Where are you going?

@hopingforapeainapod Thanks, yes definitely glad not to have GD at this stage, although I’ve heard it is common. Hope your midwife appointment goes well! I’ve also heard the same, but either way I wouldn't worry too much as you’ll have your private scan soon enough! It’s worth the cost for the reassurance! I’m off to Kos, Greece in just over two weeks. Are you going anywhere nice? :)

@GS7 we are going to Paxos (an island off Corfu) and I can’t bloody wait for some sunshine! Kos sounds lovely, I’ve never been but heard such great things! Hoping I will have ‘popped’ a bit more by then so I look actually pregnant in a swimsuit / bikini - at the moment I just look like I’ve eaten too much!

Unfortunately I tested positive for COVID today after feeling pretty rough. Just got back from Kos yesterday so must have picked it up on the flight or during the trip. MW said to just rest and stay hydrated. Hopefully will get through it quickly!

@GS7 all went well thanks! Baby doing wonderfully - only small thing is I have a low lying placenta so just hope that moves up by about 36 weeks (apparently in 9 out of 10 cases it does) otherwise will have to have a C-section, but otherwise cooking along nicely!
