Hi guys, the other thread was getting quite full so I’ve made this one, sorry if I have forgotten to tag anyone in the next post!!

I haven't had a date for my 20 week scan yet, hopefully it comes this week!

@IVFfirsttimer91 that is amazing! I'll wait for my 20 week scan and then, if all is ok, I'll start buying things!

My 20 week scan is 17th November. 25th October I'll see the midwife and I hope we can hear the heartbeat 🫀

@IVFfirsttimer91 and it still feel so surreal. It feels also very strange when I say I am pregnant. It looks like I am not talking about myself.

After 7 years, many attempts and as many fails, I still think that it can't be happening to be. It's me so, obviously, something will go wrong because I am not meant to have a baby.

I find it really, really difficult to have the enthusiasm that this baby deserves. I keep looking at baby stuff but then think "what's the point in buying it". It's like it is not my real life and I am terrified I'll wake up and it wasn't real after all.

I sound crazy and ridiculous, I know. We have chosen the name, but I still don't use it that much when we talk about him because "it's not real yet".

I guess I have one of those moments because I am having lots of spasms today on my belly and I don't understand if they are normal, positive or I should be worried.

@Charming81 i know what you mean lovely. But it definitely IS real, and is happening for you 💖💙 like it is for all of us.

I really hope that after the 20 week scan you will be feeling much better about everything and then you can start to get excited.

I think the spasms are Noah moving around and letting you know he is there :). I’ve been getting a lot today too, and like a little twinge or two, but I’m putting it down to round ligament pain.

our 16w scan will be on the 28th, closer to 17w as we will struggle to get there earlier in the week, can't wait!
@Charming81 I'm sorry you are feeling this way, it totally makes sense your mind is trying to protect you from heartbreak, I really hope you can start enjoying it soon. I think the twinges and spasms are absolutely normal but do contact your midwife if you need to

Hello @IVFfirsttimer91 . I am well. Tired, I've just finished cleaning the kitchen. My husband is in Italy so it's all on me. The worst is that I still have to rake the dog out and it doesn't stop raining 😭

But she doesn't care really, she needs to go! 🤣

On the plus side, I've bought my first Vinted item for £3.54 brand new! Whoever recommended this site is dangerous, I could buy so much stuff on there 😅

@Charming81 your dog is absolutely gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️ I sympathise about having to take her out in the rain. I got lucky today and Shay took Pash out for his walk as I’ve had a full on day with meetings in london and a scan 😂. How long until hubby is back?

@wtawtaw those tiny clothes and shoes are SO cute!!! I am a vinted fiend now! I’ve had to delete the app to prevent any more impulse buys 😂. I’m so glad you are feeling a bit better now! I’m ok thanks, just so tired and just a bit run down in general. I’ve taken on some freelance work to help with finances on top of 2 PT Monday- Friday jobs so just working more than I’d like at the moment. But needs must!

@IVFfirsttimer91 hubby will be back on Friday. Finally! Fortunately it has stopped raining for now so we could go put without too much drama. Now bed! Tomorrow I'll start working at 8 and that means that I'll have to take her out before.

@Charming81 hope you sleep well!! And that it stays dry overnight!!

All good here, I managed to move a few work things around and bring my 16wk scam forward a few days so it's now on Tuesday, so half excited but also have the usual scan nerves again!
Is anyone struggling with hip/pelvis pain? Going to mention to my midwife in my 16wk appt next week but it's really bad at times, I was hobbling around the kitchen yesterday and worried it's only going to get worse..
Also I think I am to blame for the vinted addictions, sorry all 😂

@Walker12 i was having hip/pelvic pain before I got my pregnancy pillow. It’s helped so much!! I’d really recommend getting one if you haven’t already! Also, the down dog pregnancy yoga app I’ve found to be really good in terms of gently flexing my muscles and joints. Maybe worth a try?

Also - yay for the scan!!!! Can’t wait to hear what you’re having!!

@IVFfirsttimer91 have you had your cervix length scan yet?

I second the pregnancy pillow! I've not had any pain but it's so comfy, although takes up most of the bed 😬

What pregnancy pillow have you bought? Any advice or they are all similar? I think it is time to buy one. And if my 20 week scan will be ok, I'll buy all Vinted 🤣🤣🤣 only a month to go (hopefully!)

@wtawtaw yep I had it yesterday! No problems at all and I got to see a snoozing little bean! Though she woke up when the sonographer poked around her head 😂.

They checked the heartbeat and said everything looks good so far, so fingers crossed we won’t get any bad news Monday after next at the 20 week scan!

@Charming81 I got a 6ft one, the 9ft would have just been too big for our bed, think mine cost £15? I think I got it from ‘foryourlittleone’ but not 100% sure

@IVFfirsttimer91 20 week scan on Monday!?? Wow thats come around quick. I haven't even had a date for mine yet ☹️

@wtawtaw it's strange you don't have a date yet. When I went for my 12 week scan, they gave me the date for the 20 week one. Ask your midwife. How many weeks are you now?

@Charming81 I'm 17+1 now. On my 16 week midwife appt she said I'll be sent it shortly, will chase up if not received by end of tomorrow!

@wtawtaw not next Monday, the one after (30th)! I got given my 20 week appointment at my 12 week scan! Definitely chase them!

@IVFfirsttimer91 thank you, I have got a pregnancy pillow (it's helped a bit but still aching in the day etc), not heard of the yoga app so I will definitely give that a go thanks! I am sure your 20wk scan will go perfectly, how exciting to hit that milestone soon!

Hope everyone is well, weeks are passing us by, not particularly as quickly as we all want but good to hear everyone being so happy and positive 👶😀.
I got my 20 week scan date the same day as my 12 week scan.
My second Vinted delivery batch, this site is bankrupting me lol
