@SH998 😂😂 to be fair, if they had booked you in for 23wks it would have been completely justified! I’m feeling totally unmotivated today. I have 0 wish to work and cannot force productivity out of myself. Waiting for my Evri parcel with that pramsuit in before I can go for a walk and take my lunch break.

@IVFfirsttimer91 I'm feeling you today, so tired and unsure why as had a super early night. I'm sure your pramsuit will cheer you up :) Oh fab, please post it, mines on the way, well ALL 6 of them are on the way, I assume they will take a few days as only received tracking data today. At least you know what you've bought will be 100% used by you. Im buying boy things only as I'm convinced its a boy - ill be looking pretty silly if it isn't lol

@Charming81 thank you I’m glad it’s all sorted too, I don’t recall receiving the scan paperwork so I’ll have to check again tonight.

Ive no idea why a boy we have just always assumed it is pretty much from the day we tested positive. Also, when listening to the heartbeat on the Doppler it sounds like a train, the theory is a boy sounds like a train, a girl sounds like a galloping horse. I’m sure I’ll find out more at Saturdays scan.

@Charming81 also a medium told me that she seen me with a little boy in the next year. The reading was 21st March 2023, the baby’s due 27th March 2024👶🩷🩵

I've also been convinced from the start we are having a boy!! Feeling a lot more relaxed this week, still having little blips of worry but it's definitely settling.

I have a scan this afternoon and I am totally freaking out. I feel a knot in my stomach 😩

Welllll I just posted in the old thread not knowing this one existed, despite being tagged in it - pregnancy brain?! How did I miss it? Thought everyone was quiet 😂

Hi ladies, hope you're all doing okay?

I had my cervix length scan this morning, I think I said I would let @IVFfirsttimer91 how it went. Had an internal for the length measurement which was all good (44.3mm) and then she did an abdominal scan after and I got to see baby 🥰😍 she said I don't need any further cervix length scans which makes me nervous but I could always book a private one.

Has anyone had their 16 week midwife appt yet? If so, did you get to hear heartbeat?

So glad everyone is feeling positive and I'm loving the Vinted buys - I better download the app later!!

Has anyone has 2 scans in the same week before? I want to book a gender scan for Sunday with window to the womb but they advise waiting two weeks between scans, I called them up and they said that's only if they are taking measurements, which they say they wouldn't be on the gender scan - not sure if that's right as why would they not say that when you go to book it, any advice anyone? We did have a gender scan booked for 18+3 (just over 2 weeks after the scan today) but they called me to cancel it as their insurance doesn't cover them at 18 weeks due to it potentially overlapping with the NHS 20 week scan. Don't know what to do!! Whether I have the scan on Sunday or just wait for our 20 week scan??

We are the same date now? I was the 30th March but baby was measuring 3 days ahead so now 27th March. How are you feeling? I would hugely recommend Vinted, all my buys so far are due this week, I'm so excited lol.

I've had scans within 2 weeks of each other, 10+2, 11+6 then 13+2, I've never been asked the last scan date by any of them, they were by 3 different clinics (last was NHS) and none mentioned the 2 week wait between. Maybe they are just being cautious. I have the gender scan on Saturday and I cant wait, I was sure you knew yours was a baby boy but obviously the wrong person lol.

My midwife appointment is next Thursday and have no idea what they do. When's your booked for?

@Charming81 is this a check up scan you've booked for piece of mind? I'm sure all will be fine but I still get anxious each scan. I'm not sure that feeling will ever leave us. Good luck although its not needed, it will be another amazing experience for you :)

@SH998 yeah I'm due 27/03 too 😊 I'm feeling much better since about week 14 but do still suffer on and off with the nausea but food aversions aren't so bad at all now! Meat and veg have made it back into my life 😂 how are you feeling?

My 16 week midwife appt is this afternoon, so I could just wait and see but wondered if anyone had theirs yet, not sure whether to get excited or not 🙊

We're pretty sure we are having a boy just from the grade embryo it was but no one has said anything yet so it's just us assuming, maybe that's where you got it from! Bet you can wait until Saturday 😃 can't wait to hear the outcome of what we're all having.

@Charming81 good luck for scan today, is this a consultant one or private/gender etc?

@IVFfirsttimer91 if you move to Glos you'll just be over an hour away from me! I have work on the Gloucester area too sometimes!

@wtawtaw I had 2 scans in a week time twice and no one ever said anything. Just have your scan. They are not harmful at all for the baby.

My scan is a private one at Window to the womb but not a gender one because we know already for sure it's a boy 💙 We did the Harmony test

I will have my 16 weeks appointment with the midwife on the 25th so I have to wait a bit longer

@wtawtaw glad to hear your feeling better and your able to eat a little better now. Unfortunately I've had no foods issues so will explain any weight gain. I feel great, the tiredness is easing a little so my after work naps are far and few between now lol.

This was a 5BB embryo so maybe that's why we think its more a boy as it was close to hatching on transfer day. What was yours?

Hi @wtawtaw !!! Thanks for the info re the cervix scan. I hope I get a nice midwife and they let me see the baby too!! I have my 16wk midwife appointment on Friday💖 so do let me know how you get on.

I’ve had two scans in a week before and it’s not caused any problems, I’d go for it and get one booked. Window to the womb near me were so sweet with us and we got a couple of little freebies as well which was lovely!

Hope everyone else is having a great day! I’ve had an incredibly busy morning, had someone pull out of a pilot for Friday so I’ve been scrambling to re cast 😭. But I’ve just ordered the wallpaper for the nursery so I’m feeling happy about that!

I also went shopping on Sunday and by luck there was a little stall on its last day, and I got this! It was £15 for any frame and the letters were free 🥰

Scan went well, I feel better now! I'd have one a week 🤣

He was hiding, shy boy 💙 So far, all looks good

Midwife appt went well, heard the heartbeat, beating away at around 145bpm, so amazing to hear it 🥰 then just had pee test, blood pressure etc.

Did end up booking a gender scan with window to womb for the weekend eeek!

Celebration day for me...last pessary and estrogen tablets taken today! 🎉

@wtawtaw she doesn't know what happened, I think doctors are doing some investigations. They (her and her husband) decided to take some time for themselves, deactivated social media accounts and asked for space from their families and friends. Everyone deals in different ways with a loss like that so I'm trying to respect their wishes. I just sent a message 3 days ago saying "thinking of you and I'm here at anytime", she replied with a ♥️.

We are planning to book a gender reveal scan for the weekend of 27-29th October 😉

Oooh im so excited to find out what everyone is having!! It feels like such a long way we have all come already!

@IVFfirsttimer91 I cant wait to find out what ours is so we can actually call it by the name we have chosen, it feels much more personal then.

@wtawtaw so glad to hear all went well, thanks for the heads up as to what to expect, I'm looking forward to my appointment next week now. Yay you booked the gender scan, what time is yours? Mine is at 9.45am on Saturday, I wonder if we will both be having baby boys on 27th March :)

@Sangels267 how are you feeling having stopped all meds now? I prolonged mine and only stopped all last week when I should have stopped a few weeks before. I did panic about stopping everything but feel absolutely fine now.

@SH998 I did the same. My clinic told me to stop all the meds suddenly at 12 weeks but I wasn't comfortable with that so I did a slow weaning and took the pessaries for 10 more days.

We also have chosen a name, Noah 💙

I am so excited that we are all finding out what we are having. I admire people who wait till the birth, I could never do that!

@SH998 mine is 2:45pm on Sunday! So we're both thinking boys - not long to wait 😬😬💙💕

I've woken with a super sore throat this morning, hoping it's not covid cos that's how it all started when I had it last 😫 I don't think we can take anything other than paracetomal can we?
