@Jellyfish1956 thanks for checking in - really pleased for for you.

I had a scan at my IVF clinic last week (10wks) and it was very similar to @21C, consultant told me the baby was dancing. I have felt nauseous for ages…unless eating and it’s all just settled down this week. I’m still very anxious but hope to feel better at my 12 week (also 13weeks) scan.

I hope everyone waiting for news from clinics or about to have transfers get good news. @GCS34 fingers crossed

Clinic just called. We have an appointment on 12th December to do all the paperwork and then will get going late Jan/early Feb

Hey everyone, I've done my standard disappearing act whilst I was in the thick of my second FET because I just find the whole thing so overwhelming!

So we did a FET on 24/11 with our 5AA and I've spent the whole time since then convinced it hadn't worked because I didn't have any spotting, minor cramping (but I get these throughout my cycle here and there tbh) and no sore boobs, literally nothing.

Then Sunday morning I woke up with a horrible metal taste in my mouth (which still hasn't gone yuk) and did my sample in a cup and had OH go and test because I was so so sure it would be negative again, literally was huddled up under the duvet crying my eyes out. Just couldn't face another negative test after so many. He was completely silent in the bathroom so I thought that's it our best embryo is gone.

Then he walked in and announced 'IT'S FUCKING POSITIVE' literally my first positive test EVER. Very very early days but I just wanted to come back and post because I know how impossible it is not to symptom watch or compare yourself and actually I had more symptoms on our first cycle that didn't stick!

Whatever happens I'm just over the bloody moon to know that I can actually get pregnant after all.

I’m 3dp5dt, had an FET on Saturday after our first failed transfer in September.
Tested today. So stupid.
Obviously BFN… and now feel so deflated. Was trying so hard not to test. Grrrrrrrrrr!

Hey @Chickencrazy3356 welcome back 🤍that’s great news about the heartbeat. That’s a really positive sign. Did they seem concerned at the size or more just an observation? What did they say the scan in 2 weeks time was? Do you have a midwife apt booked yet?

its such a hard and anxious time and believe me I totally get how you feel with a positive scan with a confusing outcome. That’s mad about the blood sac and the embryo trying to pull away. Did they say why or just happens?

sorry you’re feeling so rubbish with a kidney infection. Is it linked or is it just a separate issue? Do you know why it is a concern?

Hope you’re doing ok? Our single embryo made it to day 5 and is currently nestled back in! It developed better than our first one which was a pretty good one anyway so trying to keep positive and relax when not at work (and eat and sleep a but better than normal!)

Will keep you all posted, but drove myself insane last 2WW so might be a little quiet as I try to carry in as normal as possible! X

@MrsMotts Great news! Congrats on being PUPO! And it's great that it's done really well and is looking nice! The sleep and eating thing I think has so much to do with it - during the stim phase, and the HRT for FET, I still think sleep has a HUGE role to play in how you respond.

When is OTD?

Thanks @GCS34 - OTD is 18th. Going to try and hold out until 16th which will be day 10.

also I can’t remember who I was speaking to about NMN supplements, and it may be totally unrelated, but our embryo this time was so much better defined and there’s a clear difference in the division and imaging 👍🏻

Had my paperwork signing appointment today. Now just to wait for a letter with medication and dates. Going to try to forget about it until after Christmas.

Exciting that you are moving forward @Hopingforno2in2023 but also totally understand forgetting about it over Christmas. I hope you enjoy it with your family.

@Jellyfish1956 thanks for asking! Spotting is minimal now light watery brown which is quite weird?!
had a private scan last day at 8+3 both babies look fab with heartbeats. Although it wasn’t mentioned on scan after checking the report I saw that cervical length was 24mm which is soo thin for this point! I went for a crazy google journey and the opinions are so mixed, some say that Transvaginal scan doesn’t measure correctly the cervical length at this point and others that we shouldn’t check it as yet?!
im obv going crazy, and I think my symptoms are getting milder every day!
crazy roller coaster who thought I wouldn’t enjoy it even a bit!

@Jellyfish1956 Hi! Had scan yesterday thanks where I thought I was 12 weeks 6 days but turns out measuring at 13 weeks 4 days and due date has now officially changed too! Was such a relief going into that scan and seeing baby, so magical. Please everyone keep going, you will get there too! How are you doing?

@MrsMotts good luck for OTD! Keeping busy definitely best idea, I hope these 5 days fly in for you xx

@21C Wow that's great that you're measuring bigger - polar opposite of our scan a few weeks back so I'm really pleased to hear yours is going well!! How are you feeling symptom wise?

@CB2805 That's great news that you've had a positive scan and both are beating away. I'm not sure what you mean by the cervical length? I only knew they measured the CRL of the fetus, not the cervix?

I have my transfer booked for Saturday!! 👼I got to 8mm lining in the end which is an all-time record, so I'm really pleased! I'm having to forgo a black tie ball in London on the Silver Sturgeon yatch Friday night for the pleasure, so this embryo better behave and stick around! 😅

@GCS34 fingers and toes crossed for you on Saturday well done on your lining nice and cosy for your embaby!

I'm 5w4d today and some mostly light brown spotting and bit more cramping than normal today. Hoping nothing to worry about clinic say it's normal but to go to early pregnancy unit if I'm very concerned but they're referral only 😩 partner happy for us to go for a private scan if that's what I wanted but I a) don't see he point this early and b) can't stand the thought of it being bad.

Just waiting it out trying not to catastrophise but easier said than done. Thinking about all the things I did 'wrong'.

Also had an appointment with a locum GP this morning to check my thyroid etc and they were soooo rude and dismissive about everything and also so uninformed about fertility treatment and let's face it we are all experts now in comparison so that's set me off.

All in all a bit of a crap day. Fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about.

Just had a call from my clinic. Start medication beginning of Jan, first scan around the 22nd Jan and transfer week commencing 5th Feb. Have paid for the medication so that will be on its way to me soon hopefully.

I feel ok - slightly sore boobs (which I keep squeezing intermittently to check 🤣) but that could be the progesterone. Trying hard to not overthink from here on in. I’ll do another weeks indicator CB in a week just to check progression as I’d rather know early if it’s not going as it should (especially injecting lubion and clexane everyday 😭) xx

@MrsMotts my clinic are a classic TWW so my otd isn’t until 29th which is 13dp5dt. What is otd? If it’s positive now I’d say it’s a clear yes !! 🤩🙌 what an Xmas present!!
and progesterone is a bugger isn’t it? Does everything to trick you. And I know what you mean about not carrying lubion if you don’t have to — my god that’s a stingy little bugger isn’t it? My leg still hurts after last nights one! 🙄🙈

I’ve been having cramps since the transfer - nothing major but just like dull AF cramps. Anyone else had that in the days after tf? Every TWW is so different it’s so hard to know what anything is. Only 3dp5dt so it isn’t AF but it could just as likely be the progesterone.

@GCS34 my OTD was Monday so still BFP (currently 14dp5dt) and good lines so hopefully this is the one! I think I’ll feel a bit better if we get some progression on the weeks CB test which I’m going to do Sunday I think.

I can’t bring myself to go for the leg - the lubion I’ve found ok. But the clexane i dread (I feel like its karma for the years of clexane I’ve given to patients 🤣) Told my husband I was going to use any leftover clexane on him so he can know how it feels (obvs just kidding)
