@ttcsolomumtobe alrhough saying I won’t do any more tests I think I might do one clearblue to see if gone to 3+ wks yet at some point 🙈 famous last words queen peeing on anything lol

im the same and no family/friends know anything about our fertility issues. One friend found out I was going to do ivf when I ended up blubbering it out when drunk one night but that’s it!

@scaredynoob sorry to hear your update, I really hope it is just late implantation 🤞 I know what you mean though it feels better to just accept it. Are you going to wait until your OTD now?

@KG1244 im on lubion too. I find the injections ok but afterwards the area is super painful for around 4 days (can’t even touch it). I have started doing it in my thigh and no where near as painful so might be worth trying for you?

I’m officially out… BFN with no frozen embryos… Everything for nothing and back to square one! Feel like can’t cope with this wait anymore… What if I never become a mum!

@Ellenn OMG I thought exactly this re the CB digital, resisted buying one last week but feel like I will just want to see that!
I have 5 tests in a draw, got some cheapies incase I caved ... And will try be good and only do a FRER on Monday and no testing after as they are all different sensitivities so don't wanna get hung up on lines. You've done well to only test once

@NewLife6366 so sorry to hear this. I feel in a similar situation. I am due transfer tomorrow but my day 3 update was pretty poor so think the transfer will be concealed with none frozen. Square one again. I hope you heal okay x

I just remembered that you asked me what Testogel was @GCS34. It is testosterone and I take it for one cycle before starting stims to prime my ovaries.

Did anyone else bruise badly with stims injections? I've only ever had the odd bruise with all three cycles I've done before (including 10 weeks of lubion) but three ovaleap injections this cycle, and three big bruises. I'm still doing buserelin every day too, so I'm going to start running out of I bruised stomach space!

Also for those using lubion, I've not used it but read on another forum that it stings less if you wipe the fluid off the top of the needle, guess a bit comes out when you prep it ?

It's lovely to see some positives ladies, congratulations!

And sorry to also see some BFNs it such a hard and cruel journey and I hope you are all being easy on yourselves as I know it tough!

I have a consultation booked in September for my frozen transfer although it seems to long away! I'm praying I can transfer on my next cycle although I'm due on 2 days after my call, so not sure whether they will let me do it so soon, I hate the thought of waiting till October!

I am currently 9dp5dt. I had a BHCG yesterday which came back as 150, the clinic were happy with that considering I tested early but there’s still blood every time I wipe so they want me to go back on Monday to check that the levels are rising.

I’m also a solo mum using donor sperm so found your conversations really interesting around that @kirstysmbc and that you’ve already gone through it with your daughter. I think I’d want my child to know straight away too and be open about it.
@ttcsolomumtobe i filtered for a sperm donor with olive skin and dark hair and eyes so that my baby would look like me and my siblings / family. To me that was important as they’re already going to be a bit different not having a dad and I wanted them to feel like they fit in.

@GCS34 i think you asked me about the reasoning for my chemical earlier in the year. I don’t know for certain but I had been born with a complete septate uterus, which means I had a septum going all the way through splitting it in half. I had surgery in January for it to be removed but Ive also had issues with the thickness of my endometrium; I have an oestrogen dominance so I think those factors may have been involved. Basically I have good quality eggs and was able to get great embryo grades but my body struggles to house them xx

@Doughnut89 oh gosh sorry for asking again 🙈 I don’t mean for you to keep going over it.
that’s mad about the septate uterus. It makes you wonder how these things happen doesn’t it? I have an endometrium issue too. It is 1mm at all times, hence no periods and my lean pcos. It hit 6.2mm during stims but wasn’t enough still and obviously was set for a FET anyway. So I’m with you there. How many do you have left?

@kirstysmbc i went through a phase with ovaleap of just repeatedly hitting blood vessels 🙄 I found about 2inches below the belly button the best place for no bleeding.

@Hopingforno2in2023 thsnks for letting me know! Next question - what exactly does testosterone do to the ovaries? Is that becuz response on previous rounds? Are you feeling okay or did it not hit you hard?

@IVFKinster thank you for your reassurance, it could be that.

I think the drop off is always hard and we always have a hopeful number in our heads, my clinic were very clear in saying they will only take eggs from follicles 11mm and above as any smaller they won't be mature enough and then it looks a poor drop off. Fingers crossed for your fertilised ones to do well!

@GCS34 I had yea, I think if the spotting had continued I would be more worried but I know there's nothing more I can do now than test on OTD.
I told my Dad, mainly so he doesn't stress me out 😂 my friend who was picking me up from EC and then the friend I'm seeing today think I briefly said about adjustments at work and she knows it would only be for Fertility but she hasn't questioned owt.

Other friends none the wiser , just think I've been busy with work the last 2 weeks or seen them for a couple of hours. I don't really drink alcohol and changed to decaf year ago so things that may give people away don't for me luckily

That’s good your friends haven’t dug for info - true respect that 🤍 how old are you out of interest, if you don’t mind me prying! 👀 did the friend who picked you up from EC not question it being at a fertility clinic? 😂

what date is your appointment in sept? Mines next week but we won’t be stating meds until mid sept due to it being my 1st FET so have all the paperwork and legal BS to do, so we could be around the same time ☺️

@Ellenn thanks for the suggestion. Feels a bit bleak that I’m already fed up with them on my first day. I think it’s the feeling that you do all these things and it could just result in a BFN. I am trying to be upbeat though. Promise! I presume if you inject lubion in your thigh, it should be upper thigh?

@GCS34 just a slight brown today so feeling okay about that. Sorry yeah my friend who picked me up from EC knows, only her and my Dad for certain know it's gone ahead this month and spoke to them about it. Haven't seen her the weekend, if it's positive she will be the first person I tell ☺️

@KG1244 yes use the outside upper thigh, just as you would your tummy. I do work down though so I don’t use the same place too close together as I don’t think that helps either. Just grab a bit of fat and stab 🤣 I don’t know if my legs are just less sensitive than tummy but I see a really big different in pain so might be worth a shot.
