@LavenderJoy That only 2 weeks, it’ll fly by. That’s around the time of mine. They said it will be week commencing 23rd but towards end of week so prob the Friday. I’ll be 7+2 by then too

LavenderJoy · 11/10/2023 19:52

Yes I suppose its only 2 weeks, I think this is worse than the 2WW lol, everyday I'm worrying I can't feel anything 🙈 I had cramping previously and that's all stopped now, I was worried when I had it and now I haven't felt anything for a few days it's worrying me too. I've felt a but sicky at times but other than that nothing. I felt a few twinges and cramping during the time of implantation too a few days after.

SarahScone · 12/10/2023 07:03

Morning everyone.
I am 12p5dt and at otd. Tested a couple of hours ago (for first time) and VERY faint positive on clear blue. I am assuming chemical and will ring clinic when they’re open but just wandered if anyone had experienced similar or had any advice??
what a pain in the bum!!!

LavenderJoy · 12/10/2023 08:08

@SarahScone I was worries about this at the beginning, I would call and ask for a blood test as it could just be that it just implanted a little later! Good luck and sending you lots of wishes! Xx

SarahScone · 12/10/2023 09:08

Thanks @LavenderJoy
I am trying to be positive but I think likelihood is that I am out. Or will be shortly.
did you test on OTD and get faint results or was it before?

JadeAC · 12/10/2023 09:56

@SarahScone how faint is it as some of mine where strong in some brands and less so on others. I agree that you should go for a blood test. You never know.

SarahScone · 12/10/2023 10:10

The one on the left was at 7am and the one on the right was at 5am… seems very faint for a 12dp5dt… obviously hoping I’m wrong!

JadeAC · 12/10/2023 11:09

@SarahScone it is faint but I do think the more recent on the left is stronger the the earlier one. I would get the blood test.

LavenderJoy · 12/10/2023 16:13

@SarahScone I had a faintish test on OTD using the clinics test they supplied but a strong positive on the first response, I would see if you can get in for a blood test as that's the most accurate and test again in 2 days time, to see if there it any progression, im keeping eveything crossed for you.

ka3rine · 12/10/2023 18:20

i had my transfer today. i feel fine. nurse says to take pregnancy test in 2 weeks. its a waiting game from now on.

did you do to your normal routine (exercise wise) after the transfer? the nurse says to do my normal routine just no extreme sports like marathon and cross fit.

LavenderJoy · 12/10/2023 19:03

@ka3rine congratulations on being PUPO!!
This time round I did what I normally do, in fact I did so much walking and a whole weekend deep cleaning the house during the next 3 days after transfer I really had thought I had done to much and I ruined day chances, but on my failed cycles I did much more rest and they didn't work, so I day just carryon as normal just don't do anything strenuous, it's good to keep moving for the blood flow.

JadeAC · 12/10/2023 21:30

@ka3rine im pleased today went well for you and next 2 weeks fly by.
I think it’s what your body is used to. They said to me excercise was ok if it’s your norm. It very much isn’t my norm so I’ve used it as an excuse to lounge 😂 I think your fine either way though

Natasha90 · 12/10/2023 23:01

Well Ive never been so excited to get my period....

Round 4 here we go 🤞 if the embryo thaws that is, 3 rounds and never made it to a transfer yet.......

StormsPassIVF · 13/10/2023 06:47

@Natasha90 wishing you the best for this round! 3 without transfer must have been tough beyond words.

I have my fingers crossed for your frostie xx

JadeAC · 13/10/2023 09:43

@Natasha90 wishing you the best of luck for this cycle! 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Natasha90 · 13/10/2023 11:04

😔😔 here at the scan now. They've found a 2cm cyst on my right ovary.
I'm just waiting for a blood test to see if it is going to cause problems.

Depending on that result i will either start treatment tomorrow or wait for the cyst to go / be removed. It's literally been 5 weeks since my last scans 5/09 and it wasn't there

West8690 · 13/10/2023 11:13

@Natasha90 the same thing happened to me - I started meds and after 2 weeks they found a 2.7cm cyst. They kept me on cyclogest for an extra week and it started to reduce (2.3cm) so they said it wasn't a concern and wouldn't impact treatment.

Try not to worry too much xxx

TheFanciestPants · 13/10/2023 13:28

@Natasha90 fingers crossed it all works out ok 🤞🤞🤞

Had my scan today and my follicles are all similar sizes so doing better than last month. Slightly fewer (as currently have 6) than I had hoped for/expected as had 10 on baseline scan... They did say as it's early days more could be recruited, but that doesn't seem to be how things work for me... still it only takes 1! 🤞🤞🤞

Natasha90 · 14/10/2023 21:35

Hey girls,

Good news....
bloods back and the cyst doesn't test hormonal so should cause no issues.
I've started x 3 progynova today and have a scan next Friday.

Thanks for all your well wishes. This time round no one apart from my husband knows.

With 3 rounds under my belt and no actual transfer i want to keep this as stress free as possible.

Hope everyone is doing ok. X

JadeAC · 14/10/2023 22:16

@Natasha90 aw that’s great news! 🤞

West8690 · 14/10/2023 23:49

@Natasha90 that's great news 🥰 we're the same - our last 2 rounds ended in 9 and 13 week losses so this time around we're keeping it to ourselves, just to keep the exhaustion of having to deal with everyone else's questions and disappointment at bay more than anything else I think!

It's OTD on Monday and im so anxious. I've had such bad dizziness the last 2 days, headaches and nausea. My body is completely not used to progesterone as I dont produce it naturally so I can't even consider anything symptoms.

I have to go in for a blood test for results so it's the longest wait of my life. Go in at 8am and get the call any time between 12 & 2. My stomach already feels in knots, I know it sounds silly but I just feel like im letting everyone down

Natasha90 · 15/10/2023 10:23

@West8690 firstly you are not letting anyone down at all. This is such a hard journey we are putting our bodies through the mill.

Bit of a back story i had my first round in 2018... half way through it got cancelled due to me not responding to treatment. That flawed me completely to the point it's taken my 5 years to get back in this head space.

In my work and personal life if I want something I will work hard to get it, having a baby is completely out of my control so as much as our bodies go through physically pills, injections numerous scans appointments etc. dealing with ivf mentally a hard task.

Best of luck for Monday everything crossed for you.

JadeAC · 15/10/2023 10:34

@West8690 I really hope everything goes well tomorrow. It’s sounds like you’ve had a horrendous journey. Absolutely none of it is your fault. That’s part of what is so horrible about it, there’s just nothing you can do to change to outcome.

Arundel8 · 15/10/2023 12:54

@West8690 best of luck tomorrow - your symptoms sound promising. You won’t be letting anyone down - this process is just so unfair.

We decided to do a home test this morning as OTD isn’t until Tuesday and thought it would better when I had a day to process the news. Sadly it was a BFN so back to the drawing board for us. This is our third transfer that has failed and starting to believe that it’s never going to happen 😞

LavenderJoy · 15/10/2023 15:12

@Arundel8 so sorry to hear that, sending lots of love, don't give it hope, my 7th embryo stuck so if it can work for me, there is hope for everyone!

@West8690 it's defo not your fault, but I know what you mean of feeling like the one responsible,we have to go through so much, it really does suck! 3rd time lucky, sorry to hear about your previously losses x

@Natasha90 that's great news, keeping everything crossed for you x
