Hi there, I start my medication for a fresh IVF round in September. Im not the best at navigating mumsnet and wondering if there are any groups set up for people starting around the same time? X

Test done and it is negative so I’m really grateful to have 2 frosties on this round and we have paid for 3 cycles so I am sad but of course but hopeful.

Silver linings no more injections and no more cottage cheese pessary pants! 😂

I THINK this is how it works… I’ll have a period soon, then you have 1 normal one and then start the FET after your 2nd normal period cycle.

This is what the clinic told me when I was originally going to have a frozen transfer. I don’t know if it’s different now that I’ve had a fresh transfer though.

@StormsPassIVF sorry to hear that, it is a tough journey we have to go through, but im glad to hear you have a plan already!!
I think it helps me through the bad news if I have a next step in place, unfortunately for me, I think this is my last fresh cycle so only have 1 blastocyst and a day 3, I'm praying my day 3 makes it to a day 5 so I have another 2 shots 🙏

Hi ladies
Just about to start my third week of progynova and I think im ready to pull my boobs off....AGONY! My dodgy stomach seems to have subsided and been replaced by nausea and sore boobs, anyone else?
Im going for a scan on Wednesday and they've said (all being well) transfer will be the following Tuesday.
Im starting to get really nervous and anxious after the last 2 rounds ending in miscarriages and worrying about things I know I can't control. I don't really know what to say, just looking for some solidarity as I feel a bit lost with it all.

@West8690 I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. It’s the lack of control. You can do everything they recommend but it’s just not something we can control and I hate that. Keep positive. All it takes is one good cycle to make it all worth while. Just keep going. I did my transfer Friday so I’m playing the waiting game now. This is our first go so all brand new for me. I didn’t really get sore boobs. Just tiredness really.

hope everybody is doing ok, we’ve finally got a date for our FET in November but I’m on a mock round this month to see how much oestrogen I need before transfer

did anybody feel absolutely horrendous on progesterone, I had really bad joint pain, feeling anxious and couldn’t sleep.

im going into week 2 on progynova and I feel much more myself but I feel very sick and absolutely exhausted. I’m not sure if because I’m peri menopausal I’m not use to the hormones but I’ve found the FET prep tougher than the stims and ECs!!

ive Been feeling a lot more emotional, I had an acupuncture appointment last week and a lady in the waiting room had her baby with her and I just burst out crying, I cry everytime I see someone pregnant or pushing a pram, I feel ridiculous for this but i think it’s just dawning on me that there is a chance we will never have our own family does anybody else feel like this ? I’m adamant it’s all the hormones !

@Chickencrazy3356and@West8690 yep I had the same symptoms on progynova/cyclogest during my medicated FET even before transfer sore boobs, cramps, emotional, thigh pain you name it I think I had haha😂 I also found the FET worse than the fresh with all the stims etc, I have opted for a natural FET this time to give my body a break but I know some ppl don't get the option to be able to do that.
Just hang on in there and fingers crossed it will all be worth it in the end 🤞
I agree the lack if control is the hardest part it's the knowing that you can't do anything to make it happen that's frustrating and upsetting.

Thank you @bloss0mx that’s so nice to hear and a nice reminder to keep up the hope. I must admit I did get emotional today but whilst I am disappointed it feels like tears are the hormones. I was laughing and crying at the same time at one point whilst eating a Shake Shack 😂😂😂

@JadeAC @LavenderJoy it's good to know I'm not the only one with symptoms - I'm on 3 tablets a day and my body is going mental. I don't have a natural cycle so I'm not used to all the hormones generally, this is just a triple whammy!
@Chickencrazy3356 I had the same thing happen. First week I felt like I was going mad, second i was more level headed but then the nausea, sore boobs, headaches etc started. I've also been so run down which seems to happen every time I'm on stims, my mouth is full of ulcers and the skin on the inside of my cheeks has been peeling off, it's such a rough ride this trying to make a baby thing!

@StormsPassIVF - thank you. I'm feeling more nervous than I did for collection. Think because it's the final stage of my cycle and everything is totally out of my hands now. Dreading the TWW!

Good luck @fsr111 it’s a much simpler procedure than the collection so in that regard there’s no pain etc. just try and keep your mind busy. The wait isn’t so bad yet. Think it’ll be the last few days that will drag.

Transfer all done this morning, have a funny little print out of my womb to treasure now. 😆 Not sure yet how many / if there are any frosties. They will call tomorrow to confirm. Hope everyone is doing ok today.

Guys, my blood test result came back really good at over 400 🥲 wishing all of you success for this cycle!
