@wtawtaw I think its @Charming81 who has a scan tomorrow!!

I dont have nausea when I wake up, so thats a plus! Crackers and similar sound horrendous to me right now! But I cant let myself get too hungry (which Im not when I wake up), otherwise the nausea hits. And I also cant let myself get too full, as that also makes me nauseous!!

Its such a balance!!!

all I think I want is premade salads, which is exactly what Im not supposed to have!

@Walker12 my work is, fortunately, not about being productive, just about making sure everything happens as it should. So I can kinda be on auto pilot!

But really, I just want to be able to eat. I love food. But right now I hate food. And its great that Im losing weight, but losing weight in pregnancy is not exactly the healthiest! So give me back my food!!! LOL

@beehappy19 sorry forgot to answer, my next scan is on Thursday and I'll be 10+1 x

@ASGIRC I feel you with the food situation!! I love food too and usually we'd be going out for a meal on a weekend or have a takeaway but just can't, BORING!! however it'll all be worth it I hope 🤞🏻 what's up with the pre-made salad? Is that because it might not be washed properly etc?

@wtawtaw yeah it was the 7 week viability scan. I think I might book a private scan before the 12 week scan as I can’t wait that long! I’m still quite anxious even though everything looked ok yesterday.

Not long then. Your scan will be so lovely as you should be able to see more being 10 weeks

@wtawtaw yeah, the washing of the stuff. I'm not too strict with that kind of thing (been eating cold cuts as normal, as it's one of the few things I can stand), but feel like a salad bar, like a Tesco one, is probably playing a bit fast and loose with it! 😂😂

And I can't face washing and cutting my own veggies and making a salad...but maybe I'll have to try!! 😂😂

Its lovely to see all the holidays being planned, it’s got me thinking I might like to plan one for after the 20 week mark when hopefully I’ll be feeling right as rain.

I’ve spent all afternoon kipping on the sofa, just so tired at the moment, the nausea is getting better though for sure. Hopefully all of you guys have the same and it starts to go away for you too!

Really struggling to keep my eyes open at work. Cant believe I still have one more day to go before my days off!!

Really need to spend money doing nothing, but also really need to go to te bank to try and renegotiate my mortgage (it is on a 12 month fixed, which ends soon)... I think rest will take precedence though.

3h to go until I can go home, and today I might just get an uber home... 😴

@ASGIRC I'm able to eat salads, my favourite at the moment is spinach, tomato, cucumber, cheese and boiled egg. I can eat all the fruits which is good. I'm managing plain greek yoghurt with granola for breakfasts. But meat and vegetables I have gone off completely. Also I love coffee normally and haven't drank any decaf for 2 weeks now.

@IVFfirsttimer91 so happy that your scan went well. What a relief!
@Walker12 is it your first midwife appointment? Enjoy planning your holiday! I didn't have any this year. I usually go to Sicily for a month every sommer to stay with my family (I work from home so I can stay for long periods) but this year I didn't go for obvious reasons. Ot is so strange for me not to go to the beach for a whole summer! 😭😭😭 My mum's keep asking "why didn't you come this year?!". I hope I can give her the happy news soon 🤞🏻

@ASGIRC I don't really have food aversions, but I definitely have carbs cravings! I could eat pizza and pasta from breakfast till dinner! And I often find I feel full very easily.

As of me, yes, I have a scan at 11.15 this morning. I am literally freaking out! Terrified that they will tell me it has ended. I've had the worst nightmare last night

@wtawtaw I've booked a private scan for the 5th Sept when I will be 9 weeks. Feels like ages away! Glad you don't have too long to wait for your next one!
@Charming81 yes it will be my first antenatal appt :) Good luck for your scan today! Hopefully you'll be able to share the good news with your mum soon- will you tell her after the scan? I've also got mega carb cravings and the nausea is so much worse when I'm hungry, so feel like I'm constantly eating at the moment.. had 2 pieces of toast, 3 biscuits, some raspberries and an orange already today 😂

@Walker12 no, we will only tell our family after the 12 weeks (if we will get there) and after the NIPT test.

I've had soya milk and chocolate cereals this morning 😁

I am feeling ROUGH today!!!

My boobs are MASSIVELY sore today, shower was PAINFUL.

And I feel like I cant stand for more than a minute without feeling woozy and mildly nauseous.
Ive managed to eat now, and hope that will help with the nausea, which, despite not being very strong, was unpleasant...
It feels like my blood pressure is always low, but I dont think it actually is... Just another joy of early pregnancy...

Gotta say, Im not a big fan! 😂

My scan went well! So far the baby is growing well. It measures 18.60 mm and it is just right. It was such a relief 😮‍💨

We went to a pub after the scan to have lunch, I had a pie and a dessert and now I regret it 🥴 stomach ache and nausea

We have decided to tell the families in the end. I don't want to wait one more month

I will call the gp next week to book the first appointment with the midwife. It seems all so unreal and I still don't believe it.

That's lovely @Charming81 so glad it went well, and how exciting for you to tell your families. I know what you mean about it all feeling unreal still! All we can do is just keep appreciating each milestone 😊

@ASGIRC sorry you are having a rough time! It feels counterintuitive but definitely better to try to keep eating if you can to help the nausea. Hope you have managed to have a restful day. I found a new soothing treat of frozen grapes, would definitely recommend.

@Walker12 Oh, not eating was never on the cards. Cause I get really hungry!!! i justw asnt expecting to feel nauseous when Im not hungry, as it isnt normal for me.
Cold grapes are such a treat! I have a few in my lunch box, with a freezer block, to keep them cold! Currently drinking a cold orange and mango juice box, which also helps!

As for restful, not so much, today is day 6 of my 6 day week! Weekend starts at 1am!!

Yes I am also loving cold fruit juice with ice at the moment! Oh no I forgot about your work marathon, well I hope you get through your last shift OK and that 1am rolls around quickly!

@Walker12 at least with the fruit and the juice, we get some nutrients and calories! Might not be enough, but it is something!

It is literally the only "healthy" thing Im consuming right now! LOL
