@Fluxie I'm going to my mom's for dinner tomorrow.

There's always wine! Also why I have to tell her tomorrow, as I wouldn't be able to NOT DRINK WINE and it not be a dead giveaway anyway!
Which is also why I ducked out of dinner last Sunday, as I didn't want to say anything (no lines to report at the time!).

That's gonna be my first proper test! I am fina not drinking at home... But in a dinner party type setting?! Bit much! And 8 more months of this!! 😂😂😂

@ASGIRC Does your mum know you're doing this at all? I'm sure she's going to be excited for you. Your family sound like mine- there's no way I could avoid drinking without an explanation.

Yes, the 'no wine' thing has meant I've pretty much had to tell everyone I've seen whats going on, or just avoided seeing them. Best of luck tomorrow - Will think of you!

@Fluxie my whole family know I'm having a baby, solo, via donor embryo.
They just don't know the details of the WHEN. and I didn't tell anyone about the transfer!!

Yesterday as I was telling my friend that I'm pregnant and that I hadn't told my mom yet, she was like "OMG, I thought she'd gone to the transfer with you! How have you not told her?!?!" which made me feel a bit guilty 😂😂

I've been very very open about my desire to be a single mom (or rather, a mom, whether that's single or not!), and apart from people at my job, which I only started a couple of months ago, every one is aware of it. I just didn't want the stress of people asking me how it was going when I had no answers!

Otherwise, I've just been avoiding people for the last 2 weeks (I cut down since start of July, but since I wasn't using my own eggs, I figured it would be ok to have a drink until the transfer)

@Olivia199 sorry to hear about you feeling unwell. Hope you get plenty of rest and feeling better soon. Although it’s horrendous…the sickness is a good sign!

@21C good luck with testing tomorrow 🤞🏻I woke up at 4am to do my first test. I just couldn’t sleep and in the end I couldn’t hold in my pee any longer. I hope it’s the result you deserve.

@loulamay great yo hear your lining is improving. That beetroot juice must be working!

I received an update from my doctors today advising that my blood tests are still showing an increase. My HCG levels are now over 100k and rising so he confirmed the baby is still developing. I’m beyond relieved! Just waiting now for my final 8wk scan on Thursday. As long as everything is well we’ll be signed off at our clinic xx

All spotting has stopped today, back to clear white. Still feeling pretty awful but managing to keep temp down with paracetamol.

Sickness is definitely a good sign but maaan, I did not anticipate it happening this early.

All over for me girls. Period here this morning and test completely negative.

@Olivia199 make sure you’re getting ginger into you to help ease the sickness. Ginger biscuits, ginger tea or ginger beer (obviously alcho free 😂). It definitely helped me. I also got some if those anti sickness bands to wear on my wrist. If you can’t eat much just make sure you keep plenty of fluids down xx

Woke up this morning, hot, nauseous and having the wildest vivid dreams. It was like 'Black Mirror : The Baby Edition'. Has anyone else experienced this during 2ww? X I'm currently 6dp5dt

Update: Out of the 4, we have 3 early blasts and one that’s a little bit behind. Can’t grade them yet or asses for freezing but should hopefully have developed a little bit more by the time we transfer. Will get an update tomorrow for the one a little bit behind.

I really hope the other early blasts will be suitable for freezing. I was hoping for 2. That’s 50%

I’m happy we’re ok for transfer though.

Thanks everyone. As much as I could feel AF coming I still had some hope and just crushed today.

we have 1 embryo frozen but that will be 3rd transfer and not sure how much hope I have left. Truly the hardest journey I’ve ever been on when will it be my turn.

@Lauralozzle good news that theyve all made it so far!! Fingers crossed they are suitable for freezing, and the delayed one gets up to speed!!

@Fluxie cant say that I have, but I have had the wildest dreams!!

Today, on my 3h "nap" (I didnt finish work until midnight last night (freelance gig), and had to be at my "day job" at 6h30 this morning) I dreamed that this dancer I worked with a couple of times - but with whom Im only on friendly terms with, were not friends, apart from FB - was gonna be in "What we do in the Shadows" (a show I dont even watch!), as an over the top vampire, and I was trying to show my friends (?) footage of him in Newsies, in London (which he wasnt in!).

Zero sense!!

I feel a bit colicky today... A mix of gas and cramps... Very non descript and faint.
So obviously Im obsessing again that things arent going well... Though I didnt test today (yay me!)
