@Lauralozzle I had the same experience, so nerve wracking I was shaking when they called! Fingers crossed they have been developing well and you get a lovely blast to transfer :)

@Fluxie & @Walker12 Thanks both. It’s my one gripe with CARE. I understand the idea behind their do not disturb policy but it doesn’t help you worrying.

I just hope it’s not another poor quality blast if we do have something.

Yesterday I told my one friend who knew about the transfer about my positive results, as she texted me asking about the beta today.
I've already regretted it! 😂😂
She's already texted today as well, asking if I have the results yet, and when my next appointment is, etc etc etc and while it is SOOOO lovely, I really cannot be doing with all these questions!!

Particularly when I don't have any answers! 😂

Tomorrow I'll have the onslaught from ny mother 😂 and then will have to tell my dad not too long after, which will be even worse on the questions department.

Beta results are in! 335 at 9dp5dt!
Waiting to gear when my scan is gonna be, but it will be after the 17th. So at least 3 long weeks to wait!!

I've asked if I'm supposed to do that much progeffik for the duration 😂 akso cause I need a new prescription anyway. Only have enough for a few more days at this rhythm!

No second beta for me, might get a private one at some point next week, just to make sure it's still going on!

Well... Anything above 10 is positive, in the 100s means it's evolving nicely.

I don't know more than that. But the clinic seemed happy as well

Thanks girls! It just seems like the scan is too far away!! I'll be over 7 weeks, possibly 8,by the time it happens.

Okay, I've got definite cramping today. According to my clue app my period is 3 days overdue. Could it be that? I'm 5dp5dt today x

@ASGIRC is there an option to pay for an earlier scan? I'm sure your little one will just be growing away happily until then but I would also be so keen for an earlier scan. I never imagined there would be so much nail biting waiting at every stage of this process!

@Fluxie I've had cramping on and off all day today, I honestly think there's no way to know what it could mean at this stage! At times it feels exactly like my period is coming. I'm trying not to google every little thing but its so tough isn't it.

@Walker12 I feel like this halfway point is the pits! I want to go to sleep and wake up on Thursday. Cramping is very mild- not painful so much as ... I dunno hard to describe. And it makes me feel a bit nauseous but no danger of actually vomiting. Does that sound simiilar? No spotting at all.

@Walker12 I'm sure I can pay for one. Not sure I want to spend the money on that... Seems... Frivolous? Might just spend money on betas, to make sure it is evolving!

@Fluxie while I never had cramps, I did have some slight nausea at d5 and d6, but only in the evening... No idea. It probably means nothing.

Today I've been mostly obsessing about ectopic pregnancies, because I have a pain on my belly. Which is probably gas (like I've been complaining of). But brains will brain.

And I've already emailed the lab for a quote on a private beta 😂😂

@Fluxie Yes I have said the same about going to sleep for a week! The wait is awful I agree, definitely feels much harder now than the stims stage.
Yes my cramping is also mild, and I think very slight nausea too. I had strange sensations in the night like a pulling/tugging in my lower abdomen but it just happened to be that I was awake so noticed it. I've also been super hungry (but I often get that around my period). Again these could be good signs or they could mean absolutely nothing!!

@ASGIRC yes betas make more sense actually of course. I would be doing the same, I know I'll end up spending a fortune if we get that point!
Hope the pain settles for you, I wish we could switch off the old brain at times!!

@Walker12 I've honestly been eating so much since this process began. Maybe because I've had to give up everything else! Now this no cardio-exercise is the final straw and I'm guzzling toast like it's going out of fashion. I think I've read about the tugging pulling thing. Hopefully that's something cool happening. Have definitely had niggles but also my mind is in overdrive so I don't trust even the slightest sensation. Haven't been this much of a hypochondriac since school maths tests.

@ASGIRC congrats! So exciting! I will also be doing betas between scans. I’m scrutinizing every feeling, tests line, etc, thinking something is wrong. my beta isn’t until tomorrow or Sunday. The doctor will let me know today. It can’t come soon enough!

@ASGIRC Yes def some slight nausea this afternoon. I don't know much about Betas- can you do the online ones? I used medichecks to see if my AMH had improved and it was pretty quick.

As I tested today, and didn't see a line show up straight away, like a covid test, I went in the shower thinking for sure the pregnancy had stopped developing and the line would not be any stronger than 2 days ago!

I've never been this person!!! 😂😂 I'm happy go lucky, always positive to a fault! But now I'm second guessing every little thing!!

@Fluxie the beta is basically a blood pregnancy test. It measures hCG in the blood, so you do need to go and have a blood collection. Doesn't your clinic do one? Most do, as it is more accurate than POAS tests (there is more hCG in blood than in urine)

I've been eating chocolate like crazy. Have definitely eaten more this month than I have in the past 2 years combined (maybe a slight exaggeration but not by much!)
And I just want a nice cold beer or glass of wine!! But I've been too busy to even be able to enjoy my non alcoholic beers in the fridge!!!

@ASGIRC Yes this process definitely brings out the manic in everyone. I got a rash this morning (not unusual for me) and went down some internet rabbit hole about auto immune responses and genetic incompatibility etc. Anyway, it's gone now, LOL.

My clinic is a London NHS one so presumably I'll get a Beta on the house. They asked me to buy a decent test, do it first thing Thursda and then call. I think they'll book it that day. They've been so good all the way through.

And same with the chocolate! It's been cadburys giant chocolate buttons, maybe it's my body craving dairy. Haven't been tempted by wine or beer but going out for dinner tomorrow and there are WINE PAIRINGS grrr so hubs will have to drink for two.
