@Crystal88 ah sorry to hear that there may only be two follicles that are big enough, but I like the going with the flow attitude and trying not to stress. I hope they result in two excellent eggs and embryos. I think you are doing super well!

@countrypunk good to hear you have got started again! And that the first injections went ok! Keep us updated with scans, again really hope this is a great cycle for you!

@LF82 oh enjoy your holiday! Where have you gone too?

@Jx3303 how are you getting on? I hope your period has arrived and you have managed to draw a line under everything?

im still in Italy until Wednesday having a really lovely time. But very very worried as I still have no symptoms at all even the back ache has stopped. Don’t think I will be able to relax at all until scan but it’s on 6th July so seems so far away!! I really hope there is a heartbeat not sure I will be able to cope with another mmc.

@Foreverhoping33 glad your having a nice time, it’s so hard isn’t it not questioning everything

i believe things happen for reason and things are meant to be

so if I get two good eggs then it’s meant to be

I had 6 eggs last time and only one made it to day 3 so my egg quality last time was poor. So let’s see what happens this time

if not I will try again

@Crystal88 Someone I know was told she'd get 6 eggs at retrieval, and she actually got 14. So they just don't know for sure. Thinking of you for Friday, I'm being scanned then too.

@Foreverhoping33 The wait between BFP and first scan is really hard. It's impossible not to worry isn't it. Just make sure you're doing things that make you feel nice 🙂

@LF82 Urgh me too, I got super stressed yesterday cos I ended up with less liquid in the needle than I should have done. Round 2 tonight, hopefully I can improve...

@Foreverhoping33 enjoy the rest of Italy. We were there last year. Loved it. In stain now. IVF is forever a waiting game if seems - got everything crossed for your first scan

@countrypunk how did tonight’s mixing going?

@LF82 It went OK! But I'm gonna phone the clinic tomorrow because both times I've ended up with significantly less liquid in the syringe than I start with. I'm sure it's normal to lose a bit when you're mixing 3 lots of powder but I feel like I'm losing a lot so maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Just got our bill for the cycle and the medication. Ulp.

@countrypunk they always say it’s normal to lose a bit when mixing/injecting but definitely ring them to be sure! I asked the clinic for an up to date how much we have (pre paid) so I can work out how much the cancelled cycle has cost and they still haven’t got back to me! Just want to start planning on how we are affording it all!

Just been scanned again, by some miracle the cyst has deflated slightly so I am back to being able to use both sides

currently have on left 15 x2, 11, 10 and smaller ones

right 12, 11, 9 so they are hopefully I should hopefully get 5 now

and I have until Monday for them to grow up, another scan Friday and then EC Monday so let’s just carry on with the go with flow method has it seems to be working

I am feeling so emotional now

I was back at EPU after waiting two weeks since failed medical management. I did a test yesterday and it was negative. All looked fine uterus wise and back how it would be pre-pregnancy and I started my period today. However they found a cyst. Had really been hoping that would be it today but now I'm to get checked with Gynae in 3-6months (guess whenever I get a letter). Not sure how this effects any future transfer, i have told the clinic and will get a follow up to discuss but I've also said we'd like a break. Trying not to worry as I know they are normal and common and often nothing to worry about and it was just over the threshold size wise xx

@Crystal88 That's BRILLIANT NEWS!!! 🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳 you must be so pleased 💜

@Jx3303 Also good news for you, uterus-wise! Cysts are so common aren't they. Nothing to worry about but I'm glad they're doing a follow up in a few months. And you can have a nice break now and not think about anything IVF related! 💜

@Foreverhoping33 My scan's on Friday. I feel completely normal so far. Not sure what that means? Probably nothing.

@countrypunk yeah I just need to put it to the back of my mind. They weren't worried but I always worry even when they say not to. It will be good to know what the clinic and consultant at Create think about it and I hope they will say it's fine and put my mind at ease.

we are back to the real world today. Holiday was just what we both needed x

Morning all, scan update! 6 good looking follicles, 3 smaller ones. It's interesting that I'm on a much higher stims dose this time but my response is about the same as last time so far.

Egg collection probably happening between Wednesday and Friday next week.

Much prefer this short protocol lark!

How's everyone else doing this morn? @Crystal88 did you have another scan this morning too?

Sorry for late update, I had scan this morning and then straight to Legoland and now in hotel so just catching up on messages

scan went well up to 6 now which they think will be ok so let’s see, had another blood test and they have pushed EC to Tuesday to give me a little more time has they aren’t all there yet

still just going with flow and let’s see what happens xx

@Jx3303 im glad to hear everything is looking good re mmc but sorry to hear about the cyst. As you said I’m sure it’s all fine as they are very common but good they are checking it out more.

@LF82 glad you have had a nice holiday! Hope it’s helped you to feel relaxed.

im also back now, had such a lovely time away and really emphasised the importance of looking after ourselves through ivf as it’s such a tough journey!! Still feeling pretty normal but my back ache is back a lot and I thought I had some nausea yesterday which I’m hoping is a good sign….just counting down till the 6th. The waiting in ivf never stops.
