@countrypunk yep! I am just over 25 weeks. Still feels surreal! We start NCT classes in a few weeks and just trying to sort out house out for the baby’s arrival at the moment x

Hi all!

I haven't logged in for a long long time, been super busy with little Oliver who is now 8 months old! 🤯 The first 6-8 weeks were full on with ups and downs, but after that we settled and found our groove and it's been just lovely. I'll be going back to work in August, can't believe it!!
I was curious to see what happened to the rest of this group ♥️..

@countrypunk Congratulations!! 🥰🥰 Hope everything went smoothly during pregnancy and birth for you. So happy you got your little boy.

@LF82 OMG huge congrats lovely on your pregnancy, that is wonderful news! Any update?

@Hopewishprayer Congratulations on your baby! I'm so happy for you and thrilled to hear this happy ending after what must have been a tough few years. Your story proves there is always a way to be a Mum, we're so lucky to live in an age where DE is possible. Enjoy this special time ♥️♥️

@Crystal88 It's hard to read updates where someone is still on their journey as I know the last few years must have been difficult with lots of ups and downs. All of us here are destined to be Mums and absolutely WILL succeed 💪. I've always believed that what's meant to be will happen, life isn't linear and we all achieve in different ways and to different timelines. You sound like you have such a great positive mindset and profound resilience, I have no doubt whatsoever we'll be hearing happy news in 2024 😊😘. IMO, heading down the DE route sounds like a good decision now. You've been through so much, and whilst I'm sure there's a new process to learn with DE, the IVF path forwards will now hopefully (and much more likely) be the one leading you to being a Mum. Keep us updated, I'm excited for this next chapter ahead of you 💕. Sending love xxx

@Cat89 oh my goodness I can’t believe he is 8 months old! I hope you have been enjoying every minute of it - sleepless nights and all! I am well, constantly tired and now 28 weeks so it’s third trimester time. We are just trying to get ourselves organised and ready as we can for when she arrives. I am very excited and very nervous at the same time.

@Cat89 Hello Cat! So lovely to read your update, it sounds like everything's going really well. Our boy is nearly 5 weeks now, and he does not like sleeping at all! He's gorgeous though and we're in love 😍

Hello all so so lovely to hear your updates!
We also have a little boy over here who will be 12 weeks tomorrow! No idea where the time has gone!!

so far he is a lovely baby and I’m enjoying every minute. Unfortunately he does have congenital heart disease though so dealing with that but otherwise we are all good!! Xxxxxx

i currently have that stupid cough that is going around but hoping it’s better soon as I fly out to Tenerife next week. No more IVF news from me yet still waiting for DE

but I did have some routine blood test at Doctor as I have been feeling very tired and achy since my last IVF failure last year, found I have a high iron level, need to have them repeat in a month to try and see what is causing it. It may explain my IvF/ fertility issues I have been having as high iron levels isn’t good On your body and not sure if I will need to get these in check before I continue any IVF treatment

I’m love to hear all your updates it gives me hope xx

@Crystal88 hello lovely! How are you? Did you have a nice time in Tenerife? Hopefully you are finally getting some nice weather in the UK now too, taken a while for summer to arrive!
did you find anything more about your high iron levels?
ah hope you get a donor egg soon, do they give you updates on waiting or is it just a matter of waiting until it’s all go go go?

i am good, my little boy is turning 5 months old on Thursday- absolutely no idea how!! So far it’s going well he seemed to miss the 4 month regression so far and we haven’t yet reached teething so it’s a lovely age! He makes all the ivf and stress and sadness worth it a thousand times over 🥰, as I am sure your little one will when they come along!!

update from me … I have a few weeks left before the baby makes their apprearance. Am a mix of very excited and very nervous!

Hope everyone else is doing ok- I think of everyone on hear often as this group helped me so much on my ivf journey x

@Foreverhoping33 just waiting game on Donor, i had a match but they pulled out at the last moment, so wasnt meant to be. Iron levels seem to be back to normal, they think my body was just fighting an infection and it caused them to be raised. But i have another test in few months just to make sure. Time flies i cant believe your baby is almost 5 months

@LF82 i thought you was almost due as i know we both had treatment in November, I'm sure your baby will be worth waiting for

My boy is 14 weeks now and he runs the household! He's still not a massive fan of sleep so we're quite frazzled but used to the zombified feeling now. He's worth it!

I still think of everyone on this thread too. It was a lifeline. Xx

I don't log in often these days so apologies I don't see things for a long time later!

My boy will be 1 years old soon!! 😲😲 He's starting nursery the week after next and I'll be going back to work in August, nooo! It's been the best year, I'm sad that mat leave will be coming to an end 😥. It definitely does make up for the years of putting up with crap and disappointment, so it's worth fighting for. Everyone deserves this happiness ♥️♥️.

@Crystal88 are you still waiting on a donor? I'm sorry the last person pulled out, that must have been very frustrating. You're so close now! I don't know much about the DE process, has it been complex to navigate or fairly smooth? Seems to have moved quite quickly, but my concept of time is massively warped these days! Xx

@Cat89 still on waiting list but remaining positive, and if it doesn't work then we will go down adoption route. this is last chance as it so expensive but will be worth it, i think i am up to about 25K so far lol

We've just had the 1 year health visitor check up and all was fine, so we must be parenting ok 😂. Every baby is different but the newborn and first 6 months can be pretty full on, so be kind to yourselves ladies ♥️.

@Crystal88 please continue to update us here if you're happy to. I'm glad you've got a plan in place that you're both following, always helps to keep us motivated and set on the end goal thru the bumps along the way. Sending lots of love and hoping you'll find a donor very soon! 😘 X
