Hi! I am scheduled for a FET in May and wondered if anybody might want to join who is in a similar position.

I had ICSI in 2020. A fresh transfer resulted in DD being born in 2021. We are doing a FET from an embryo we had of that round of ICSI.

Nice to hear the updates and see that people are starting meds. I am waiting for my period to arrive. Any day now!

@Createmagik thanks, finding it a bit odd they say to start oestrogen tabs to thicken the lining when bleeding 🤔 not quite understanding the science yet x

@Purtyburty Mine came right after a relaxing warm bath and baby dance 😁 might help x

Started my period today so starting my medication. Transfer booked for 15th May!

I have my baseline scan tomorrow, crazy that I cannot wait for more meds :-)

Does anybody know the grades of their embryos? We only have one frozen embryo and it is a 3bb 😬 it is the lowest our clinic we're willing to freeze so not sure what our chances are.

Hi I am on a different thread, but my embryo was 3AB and I am pregnant! My
Higher graded embryo didn't stick ... I hope this helps

Sorry i am completely wrong it was 4AB, but I have read other women have a positive result
With a 3... please don't dwell on it too much xxx

Ah @Purtyburty big hug. I had a massive meltdown as our remaining embryos are a 3 (different grading system, we don't have the lettering after the number). I rang our embryologist and she was really helpful, she explained to me the grading and how they only freeze things that have a chance. Could you ring them to discuss and reassure yourself?

I know a friend of mine has a toddler now who was a 3cb - so please don't lose hope. X

@Purtyburty The clinic froze your embryo for the simple reason that it has a chance. I have read so many accounts in both directions, higher grade fails and lower grade successes. I know how hard it is to not try to understand the chance of this transfer and weighing up the options. Out of two rounds of IVF we have this one precious embryo ... I am 45 years old so pushing it. I keep on asking my husband... so you have a good feeling about this.....? Complete hockus pockus but soooo necessary, my mind is playing with me. I am with you, I want to KNOW...!

@Createmagik amazing news! I am currently doing my injections and taking oestrogen tablets. I have my baseline on the 9th!

@Createmagik I’m two days behind you! Just had my Ultrasound.. 8,3mm triple layer lining! Transfer booked for 11th of May. What a relieve that the US was good.

Done my endometrial thickness scan today it's at 6mm. So they increased my oestrogen tabs from 6mg to 8mg and will do another scan on Wednesday. Hopefully it would've grown a bit more by then

@Irisjj Great news! Every step of this process is a waiting game, and the hormone bombardment of the meds is surly not helping this process. Fingers and toes crossed for you for the 11th!!

@Createmagik thank you I have some time for it to grow as my transfer day is 16th May. Good luck to you! Xx
After some Googling it apparently grows at 1mm per day, Hope this helps anyone else wondering xx

@Purtyburty I only have a lot of headaches… but otherwise feel fine. The lupron might also contribute for me..

@NaomiNatNat they also increased my dose since my estradiol levels were still low ~80 while they want it to be above 200🙈 I just hate that you have to google everything yourself to understand how it affects chances etc haha. you have time - hope your lining grows steadily! Xoxo

Hope it’s ok for me to join. I had my FET on the 4th May so I’m currently 3dp5dt. Don’t really feel any different, I feel sick but I always do lol.

@Purtyburty Very much so! I have been feeling quite depressed on the oestrogen tablets (irritable, unsociable, angry). This has levelled out somewhat with the introduction of Progesterone but I am still quite unpredictable.

My main symptoms have been tiredness, headaches, irritability - I am basically not myself 😐

You are ahead of me, I have my transfer this Tuesday. Early days for you, hope you can hold off testing too early and are keeping well. 😊
