Hi! I am scheduled for a FET in May and wondered if anybody might want to join who is in a similar position.

I had ICSI in 2020. A fresh transfer resulted in DD being born in 2021. We are doing a FET from an embryo we had of that round of ICSI.

@Createmagik thank you for your well wishes. I am excited and nervous. How are you feeling?

@Purtyburty I bet you are, it is a sea saw of emotions - one has to go forward! I am feeling pretty ropey really, flu like symptoms, weakness, dizziness, bloating, horrible gas, backache... hoping these are all good signs.... Bring on test day on the 19th of May :-) Will you be testing early?

@Createmagik fingers crossed but they sound like good symptoms! Yes I will be testing early 😂 I can't help it. I will probably test on day 5 knowing me! Will you hold out till the 19th?

Anyone feel like their 'gut feel' is right/to be listened to? I'm sure this one hasn't worked and I haven't even got to my lining scan yet, let alone transfer 😅 I wish I could think more positive but I'm struggling to. I feel soooo nauseous and grim on the meds which isn't helping 😔

@Purtyburty So very nervous about this.... I am trying to protect myself and not get excited. I will try to hold out until my test date on the 19th... only four more days to go. I may cave in and do this earlier, like on Wednesday or Thursday.

@Createmagik wow you have a lot of patience😂 I was already discussing with my husband whether I should test today (4DP5DT) or tomorrow. We landed on tomorrow.
I feel pulling and stretching like I had with all my other pregnancies so I hope I’m not reading into it too much. My mind is thinking if failed but my heart is otherwise. What a rollercoaster 🙈

@MaybeBabyTwo I totally get you! I felt like that as well. But I think its my defence mechanism - less painful if it goes wrong. Its okay, it won’t change your outcome how you think. I hope you get surprised and this is your month ❤️

Quick update. Had my transfer today and when I got there they told me I was late. They had changed my appointment time on the day and not told me. So now I am worrying that it may have been thawed too early and will affect my chances. Also a nurse did the transfer and a consultant did it last time. Feeling a bit miserable.

Oh @Purtyburty that is just a stress you don't need!

I wouldn't worry at all about the thaw length time - if it was massively time critical they'd have rung you. Also please don't worry about the nurse doing the transfer - the consultant at my clinic told me that the nurse is much better than she is! I think they have more practice at it.

Keeping all my fingers crossed for you. You're pregnant until proven otherwise xx

@Purtyburty I echo what MaybeBabyTwo wrote, they are professionals and would have called you if there would have been an issue, and they trust the nurse to do the transfer correctly - their reputation is on the line. And today you are already on day one of post transfer - congratulation for getting this far!

@Purtyburty They would’ve called if there really is a problem or thawed a second if they did not believe the first one would make it. The window is pretty large- its just their protocols…

I tested this morning -5DP5DT. I have a very faint line. Hopefully this baby sticks and the line becomes darker ❤️

Hello everyone :-) How are we all doing today? Irisjj, how is today's test? Purtyburty, feeling O.K. today, any symptoms. I have decided I will be testing tomorrow morning - one day earlier then OTD. I will let you guys know! x

I’ve been getting very faint lines on Wondfo since 5dp5dt and my FRERs finally arrived so I tried one of those this morning (7dp5dt). Finally got a line I’d be happy to call a positive! Very surprised as still NO symptoms at all. No cramping, pulling, back ache. Nothing . Completely different to my last successful transfer.

Just hoping it sticks - this is my 4th pregnancy now yet I have no living children x

Today is still very faint so I immediately freaked out bc of previous losses, but it is still darker then my miscarriage from Sept (seems like I’m about 1 day ahead in darkness of lines). Im going to take a FRER tomorrow since the cheapies take longer to get dark! And I know I should compare 48 hours in between .. today I am pregnant ❤️

I had lower back ache yesterday but last time I had a successful transfer I had no symptoms at all. I am only 2dp5dt and I already can't wait to test.

@Irisjj I think that line is a lot darker than the previous one!

That’s a lot darker a line! Try with a FRER tomorrow and you’ll get a much easier to see one x

Hello - unfortunately BFN this morning (day 9 after transfer tested with cheap Waitrose test) I am finding it difficult to stay positive. OTD is tomorrow does anybody think there might be a chance...? Hope everyone else is well.

@Createmagik I am really sorry that your test was negative. I would test tomorrow too as it is the official test day. Perhaps use one of the first response ones? Lots of love x

OMG I am still in shock - tested this morning on my OTD and BFP!!!!!! I cannot believe this after yesterdays results. I have my Beta HCG today. Let the thread be lucky for us all!

@Createmagik I'm so thrilled for you. I nearly posted yesterday to say that you're definitely not out based on a cheapie the day before test date but then I didn't because I didn't want to get your hopes up!

Amazing news, I hope your beta goes okay, and I hope this is a sticky one for you.

I hope you don’t mind me joining, I am hoping to start FET very soon and actually have my drugs arriving today.

Little back ground, we first started IVF in early 2017, lucky to have 3 rounds funded. 1st round only 1 egg made it, got a BFP but sadly ended at 14 weeks due to a very rare abnormality (basically liver on the outside, abdominal wall fused to the sack and other organs therefore not growing properly), tried again in late 2017 and we had 2 eggs Day 5 equal quality I believe, 1 egg transfered and luckily resulted in BFP and our child was born Sept 2018.

Fast forward to now and we have one egg frozen so we have decided to go again after unsuccessful TTC for the last couple of years.

My cycles are super irregular so I am currently on day 35, just waiting for it to start really.

I was just after a bit of advice from those that have had their transfers or have a date the rough timeline between Day 1 and transfer.

My clinic have been very vague about it but I have some events mid June that I can’t really cancel so I want to make sure that if we start now the transfer won’t be effected. I know I don’t know how my body will respond to the drugs etc but just any rough guidance would be helpful. If not I’ll have to wait until my next cycle which could be 2 months away.

I‘m not sure if the time also depends on the protocol, I’m medicated. Starting meds on day 2, oestradoil tablets (3 times a day) and 5 Ovamex (Ganirelix) injections.

Sorry for all the questions, my clinic are lovely just not very forthcoming with information.

Hello MaybeBabyTwo. Thank you for your message, yes, I was frantically googling yesterday, but honestly I thought I played a huge trick on myself. I had so many symptoms and did not expect the negative test the day before. How quickly something can spin around, is making me dizzy ;-) I am currently on day 10 past transfer.

Where are you at the moment?
