Hi All,

Looking for others starting their FET cycle in March. This will be my 5th cycle (after 4 cycles last year). I did PGT-A testing this time and my embryos went down from 13 to 4. Hoping for success this time round and just wanted to go through the journey with others.

How does one prepare for the result? I am watching a comedy in bed lolol!

I cracked and tested on Saturday, was going to try and wait to Sunday. I expected it to be negative, felt no symptoms other than cramping, but assumed that was due to the pessarys. So shocked to see a positive. Then tested again, and again, just to check! Digital test says 2-3 weeks.

just feel so worried now as know it could so easily not progress, and really wanting to feel ‘something’ else in the ways of symptoms!

Awwww @cat234 congratulations!!! That’s so exciting, one hurdle crossed! You can take a breathe now haha. Yea so weird I don’t have much symptoms as well, it’s like we want symptoms so we know something is going on there you know. I have a couple of unofficial tests but I don’t want to rely on them till the official test date. Toes and fingers crossed for me too! 🤗

I held off from pregnancy tests because I have so much PTSD from them from before we did IVF.

However my blood test came back positive today, too yay!

Like you @cat234 I had 0 symptoms and also thought it hadn't worked...

My day 8 beta came back negative though. Just holding on here for day 10 beta that i have tomo.

Negative. Today is OTD and all the sticks are as negative as they were on day 8. Clinic still want me to get a blood test, so I get to pay for the pleasure of confirming I’m not pregnant as well :(

@LadyTato im sorry your result is negative and sending the biggest hugs 🤗. Although you have been crushed on this, try take the time to have a break from it all and look after you! Treat yourself to something new or a holiday if you can have something to look forward to, don’t give up ! Same to all you ladies we go through so much ups and downs on this journey it’s important to remember it’s not our fault. Big massive hugs to you xxx

Im stressed, I brought this on myself as I’ve been warned not to test before the test date. I got a BFP from day 5 post transfer but now the line today which is day 7 looks lighter than the line yesterday day 6. I’m super stressed now, it still says pregnant with the digital test but could it be a chemical? I should not have tested cause now I feel super stressed. So annoyed

@Zus how did your transfer day go? How do you feel? I have mine next Friday I’m mixed emotions this week about it all! I’m at the clinic tomorrow in Alicante for final ultrasound to check lining and bloods etc before transfer next week and I’m worrying that’s not ok already!! I am a big ball of emotional 😭 wreck lol 😂

@Rainbowpeach do not stress about the line shade on the test, the tests are designed to show hcg in the Urine and if present then you will get a line doesn’t matter if it’s light dark etc, it’s not designed to show how much is present so don’t panic! The beta will confirm that, this is why they say not to test at home but it’s so hard I get it!! Congratulations to you please 🙏 don’t stress deep breaths take it easy!! Big hugs wow 🤩 xx

@Bookiebooboo thank you for the reassuring words, just feeling super anxious now and feel like AF is about to come now. Just hoping for the best at this point

Hi @Rainbowpeach I totally understand your anxiety. I hate pregnancy tests for this reason, they are a blunt tool and there's only so much you can glean from them in terms of information.keep your powder dry and wait for the blood test, that will give you a much better indication of where you are at. I hope you are able to last until then!

Thanks @Cookiecrush yea I might just have to stop testing and wait till Sunday atleast, OTD is Monday. Just so hard to resist but then it gives anxiety. Are you still buzzing from the BFP hahaha, any symptoms yet? Will you be doing follow up blood tests for HCG level or straight to ultrasound?

@Rainbowpeach haha I will be buzzing much much later. Still very early days and a lot of my energy goes into keeping my hopes low. I have another beta test tomorrow to check HCG is doubling. We'll see what's happening then!

Yes I think if you can you should stop testing it is just making you feel worse. Hard I know!!!!

@Rainbowpeach @cat234 @Cookiecrush what a great news! Congratulations lovely ladies! Many people usually believe that once you have done the transfer and got BFP then that's it! but stress start from the BFP test. We will have so many "what if" questions every time hahaha! That is bloody IVF. All I want to say is please take one at a time and think it's happening. Mostly for transfer in March means baby due from mid November till early Dec. So this year you ladies will have the best Christmas gift. I'm sure it will happen! All the best ❤️

@Bookiebooboo Hey, I have my transfer Tuesday 28th March. I have mixed emotions as I mentioned this time I have different method of medication and treatment so bit nervous. Hope all goes well.

I had my lining test last Monday and I can feel you haha I thought what if the lining is not in a good place etc .. oh god! This IVF kills us!

Thanks for the congratulations from people, not been back on here much as have been/an away for a conference with work. Has been a good distraction in a way, as been stressing so much. And then stressing that stressing won’t help…!

Definitely over thinking everything as well, can’t decide if I feel a bit nauseous, or just do anxious it’s due to that! Last night and this morning had cramping period type pains, and slightest amount of spotting…which has just me stress more.

absolutely agree that BFP, whilst of course the what we all want, just means stress in another way.

@Cookiecrush good luck today with the beta test. Yea I have decided to stop doing the line testing tests, it’s causing stress, however I did do the digital today 😂I just need to see it say pregnant. I have banned myself from testing till OTD on Monday so Il just not buy any test till then.

@Zus Ive never been a big fan of Christmas cause of the weather but if I have a baby at Christmas I’m pretty sure I will start loving Christmas lol. Every time I go to the bathroom I’m literally checking for blood cause it just seems to good to be true but yea positive mindset! Otherwise I will drive myself crazy. Whoosh, your transfer is literally almost here, everything will go great and we will celebrate you the way you celebrated us 💞

@cat234 thats good you are keeping yourself busy. Hopefully it’s all just spotting which does happen to people so nothing to worry about. On my end my symptoms are strange, I am always thirsty, super bloated and excruciating headache, not sure if it’s from all the medication or the pregnancy!

Hi @zus omg your day is approaching I wish you all the best on Tuesday and will be thinking of you and I’ll drop in to see how you got on. Unfortunately today my scan didn’t go so well my lining has actually thinned since last week so the doctor is not happy to go ahead with transfer on Friday 😭 it is what it is, so delayed until hopefully 🤞 28th April. Bummer I know but you kind of get used to being knocked back in this game ALOT!! Lol 😂
