Hi All,

Looking for others starting their FET cycle in March. This will be my 5th cycle (after 4 cycles last year). I did PGT-A testing this time and my embryos went down from 13 to 4. Hoping for success this time round and just wanted to go through the journey with others.

@Bookiebooboo @MS2692

Yes we are very happy, very emotional! But now we can start preparing ❤️

laurapop · 19/05/2023 19:55

Hi everyone! My scan went well today 🥰. Baby has pretty much caught up growth wise and has a strong heartbeat so they have no concerns. So relieved, I was so nervous before it!

How is everyone getting on? Xx

MS2692 · 20/05/2023 06:41

@laurapop that’s brilliant news! 🤗 how far along are you now?

We had our 7 week viability scan last Friday and there was a heartbeat and was measuring spot on 🥹🥳 I was passed onto normal midwifery services, I had my booking appointment on Tuesday and have my booking bloods on Monday!

I have a private scan booked for next Thursday as I leave for Dubai for work next Friday and want to make sure everything’s still ok before I leave xxx

laurapop · 20/05/2023 06:57

@MS2692 aww brilliant news 🥰. I'm 9+1 today and I have my booking appointment on Tuesday. Not heard anything about my 12 week scan yet but I think I'm going to have a NIPT scan the week after next anyway so fingers crossed if all goes well there I think I'll start to relax.

How long are you in Dubai for?

Zik · 21/05/2023 15:18

Hi pls which of the pregnacare were you taking to prepare for the FET

MS2692 · 22/05/2023 20:21

@Zik I started taking Pregnacare Max a week before FET and continued daily

Cookiecrush · 23/05/2023 12:12

Hey everyone just to say that I had my first trimester scan today and everything was good with babe - I am so happy!

How is everyone getting on? Did anyone else experience the dreaded morning sickness ? Apparently it can be more strong in those doing IVF, I guess because of the drugs ? I took probiotics which really helped a lot (I was vomiting when I didn't take them!)

Bookiebooboo · 23/05/2023 15:58

Hey @Cookiecrush this is wonderful news I am so happy for you its lovely to hear that’s amazing news! Id say you can relax a bit now another hurdle over!!

i have not been getting much sickness at all i feel the odd bit if nausea at night laying down mainly but nothing like wanting to vomit or actual 🤮, i had a scare last week i had some bleeding and cramping so we went to hospital i managed to get an ultrasound and there was a heartbeat 💓 but i have a subchorionic hemotoma causing the bleed ( also been told very common in ivf) so ive been advised to rest and i have my 7 week scan a week today so time is dragging and i am panicking over every move but i have been told to stay calm, ive not had anymore bleeding since last weeks episode thank god! But the anxiety of it 😩😩 just praying all is ok next week and it resolves xx 😘

MrsRandMrsR · 28/05/2023 07:52

Hey all. I’ve tried to stay away from forums and decided to quit my job being Dr.Google because it just wasn’t any good for my nerves. But I have been thinking of you all and wondering how you’ve all been doing and how your little beanies are? ❤️

My wife has had nausea something terrible over the last few weeks thought it has staved away the last few days but this can be typical until the placenta takes over. Anytime I cook or clean, she can’t stand the smell of cleaning products (I thought it would get me out of the cooking and cleaning but it hasn’t 🙄 😅) So she has been suffering. We had a private scan at 8 weeks, all looked good. She’s had her booking appt with the Midwife already and we had an 11 week private scan yesterday just so we could let our 11 year old know/see the news. It was amazing, it was really emotional letting my daughter in on something we’ve had to try and keep from her. Baby has grown so much. Kicking and jumping. Could even see it swallowing and its little teeth buds. Mind blowing. We’ve had cramps on and off but can only assume that’s ligaments starting to stretch and grow. She’s also started to wean off the meds too which I know she’s glad for, it’s all taking its toll on her, but we saw that the placenta is in place so the medication wean off doesn’t seem so anxiety-ridden!

Cookiecrush · 30/05/2023 09:31

@MrsRandMrsR I also had awful awful morning sickness it really is awful. Hang in there !!!

laurapop · 31/05/2023 06:46

@MrsRandMrsR glad to hear all is well with you guys (apart from the sickness).

I've been in the same boat - just constant nausea and felt pretty awful for weeks. I had my NIPT scan yesterday at 10+4 and we also saw baby wriggling around everywhere it was amazing 😍. They saw the placenta too and the cord was nearly formed but the yolk sac hadn't quite gone yet. I'm really hoping a few more days and I'll start to see an improvement. Think I started to feel better at around 11 weeks last time xx

graygoose · 01/06/2023 07:36

Hi ladies, I’ve been pretty quiet on here as was waiting anxiously for my 12 week scan. This was yesterday and we saw our little bean jumping around! It was so surreal. We get our NIPT results in 2 weeks and then I’ll tell work and other friends but the nuchal scan looked good so fingers crossed. Happy to see so many people have also seen their lovely little beans on their scans :)

Bookiebooboo · 01/06/2023 21:07

Hey @graygoose awww how lovely so happy for you i like to come on now and again and see and read people’s news it’s lovely and makes me look forward to mine.
I had a wee scare at 5 weeks 6days with heavy bleeding etc so went to A&E had a scan found heartbeat but lurking was a nice hemotoma causing the bleed, I went back on Monday for 7 week scan all is ok with baby the bleed is still there but not near the placenta but I’ve been put on complete bed rest and have another scan next Friday. It’s stressing me out so much as I’m an active person and I just feel a bit down but pinching myself to stop feeling bad and guilty for being miserable stuck in bed all day 😩😩I am pregnant I keep reminding myself I’m lucky

Cookiecrush · 10/06/2023 17:22

I just thought I would check in and see how you are doing! All well here! No one is noticing I am pregnant: last time people could tell really early for some reason lol:

hey @Bookiebooboo how are you getting on? Are you still on bed rest?

@graygoose how are you doing?

@laurapop hows the nausea? Has it improved??

@MrsRandMrsR how are you both doing? Are you feeling better? hows the nausea?

MrsRandMrsR · 10/06/2023 20:22

Hey you, how you holding up (or down!) with the sickness?

Yeah all is good so far thank you, she’s still rotten with sickness at times, going from ravenous hungry to force feeding herself, insomnia, constipation, bloating and all those other pregnancy gems. Had a 12 week scan on Monday, they’ve bought the EDD forward by about a week, so measuring a little further on despite knowing when the transfer happened. Placenta is Anti-Posterior, or something like that (?) so less likely to feel baby as placenta is connected to the front but was told that can be common just means movements won’t be felt as soon as we’d like though she did say she definitely experienced a little flutter the other day but nothing since. We declined the screening tests as just felt due to the small risk of miscarriage it just wasn’t worth it for us, the markers only suggest the likelihood rather than an actual diagnosis so we also didn’t want to stress something else. Gender scan is booked for next month, we were shown the Nub because I asked (thought I’d check out the nub theory but was actually no further forward in knowing because I couldn’t remember by the time I got home the position of it) however the gut instinct I felt from the sonographer who quite rightly said she couldn’t and wouldn’t give her opinion on what she could see, but the unspoken vibe silence I got was that it was likely a girl.

Sonographer printed us the baby giving us a little wave 🥹 amazing. I’ll never tire of seeing ultrasounds and scans

laurapop · 11/06/2023 07:16

@Cookiecrush hi! Thanks for checking in.

I had my 12 week scan on friday and also got my NIPT results back on Thursday so it was an exciting week 😍

Baby misbehaved at the scan and they tried for 40 mins to get the screening and dating measurements but they had to book me in for a rescan in the end 🤣. So I'm glad I booked the NIPT as I would have panicked not having the proper screening.

Also I found out I'm having another girl which I'm so happy about 🥰.

The nausea definitely hasn't disappeared but it's so much better. I'm eating a bit more (well a lot as I'm starving constantly!) But still not quite feeling there. Hoping soon it will go and I will get more energy.

How are you feeling? How many weeks are you now? Xx

Bookiebooboo · 11/06/2023 16:44

Hi everyone, unfortunately I have lost the baby. I went for a scan on Friday and the heartbeat had stopped so we are absolutely heartbroken 💔 I have to go in to hospital for a D&C as it’s a silent miscarriage and my body still thinks I’m pregnant. Really devastated 💔

MrsRandMrsR · 11/06/2023 21:34

Oh my god. I am so sorry, so genuinely sorry from the bottom of my heart 😞 I can’t even begin to imagine how you and your partner are feeling and now you process that. Life is just so f*cking hard and damn cruel. I know these things happen and can at any point with no rhyme or reason but did they throw any light with previous bleeding/cramping you experienced? I’m sending you all the love and light I can. Big hugs x

graygoose · 12/06/2023 05:34

@Bookiebooboo I'm so sorry, that's devastating news. Please look after yourself and also remember to be kind to yourself. You poor thing, I am thinking of you xx

@Cookiecrush thanks for checking in. I'm doing well. We had our NIPT results and all was fine (they're only testing probability of course but it was very good odds so we are happy). We've started to tell people which is quite weird and I'm going to tell work soon. Unfortunately boss is currently on the warpath so am waiting until she's in a better mood to tell her..

My symptoms have basically gone, I assume (hope) because the placenta has taken over. The scan at 12 weeks was very good and we are having a 16 week scan at the end of the month so hanging in there. I had terrible pain in my pubic bone on Saturday night, had to have DH give me a massage down there was it very unpleasant. From reading it appears to be pelvic girdle pain, not like period cramps or anything I had ever experienced before.

How are you getting on? I've been thinking of everyone in our little group.

MS2692 · 12/06/2023 06:50

@Bookiebooboo I am so so sorry, I cannot begin to imagine how you’re feeling!! Exactly as Mrs R said, life is so cruel and unfair! Thinking of you and hope you’re able to take time from work for yourself and your partner xxx

Cookiecrush · 17/06/2023 22:19

@Bookiebooboo I am so sorry and sending you so many thoughts and prayers. Thinking of you both xxxxxxx

MrsRandMrsR · 29/06/2023 12:17

We found out we’re having a baby boy. We’ve got 2/3 growth scans booked at something like between 30-34 weeks; is this normal? Wasn’t sure if it’s an IVF thing but everything has been okay at all scans we’ve ever had.

MS2692 · 02/07/2023 18:51

Hey everyone!

Wondered if you could help me! We had sex today (first time since I was 4weeks!) and immediately afterwards there was light pink when I wiped 😳 sex wasn’t painful! I’m really worried, I will call the midwife tomorrow but just wondered if anyone had an idea of why this might’ve happened?

Thank you xxx

MrsRandMrsR · 05/10/2023 23:06

Hey all.

Just checking in and seeing how everyone is? Not sure if anyone is around anymore 😅

Bookiebooboo · 06/10/2023 05:03

Hello how are you doing? I have not been on this for a while either, currently 6.5weeks pregnant with twins!!! I had another embryo transfer on 8th sept and only transferred one and its split so im expecting identical twins!!! I only found out yesterday so in total shock and excitement but really was not expecting it, my first beta was 236 not extremely high and my doctor was happy so didnt require another he just asked me to come back for my first scan at 6.5weeks whicg was yesterday!!! Not much clue in my symptoms either just only noticed a slight increase in nausea beginning of the week but wouldn’t say its been extreme!!!! How are you doing? How has everything been for you since xx
