Hi All,

Looking for others starting their FET cycle in March. This will be my 5th cycle (after 4 cycles last year). I did PGT-A testing this time and my embryos went down from 13 to 4. Hoping for success this time round and just wanted to go through the journey with others.

Hi, I’m 5dp5dt and going out of my mind! I have zero symptoms and just don’t feel pregnant. If anything I feel like my period is on its way. I feel irritable. For those who have transferred did you get any symptoms early on?

Jazsimone · 28/03/2023 15:53

@pillerpink
Pregnancy/ IVF medication / AF all have similar symptoms. I know this doesn't help but try not to read to much into them, wait for test date for the answer. x

pillerpink · 28/03/2023 16:08

Thank you @Jazsimone 🙏🏽 it’s so difficult the waiting period. I just don’t feel anything which worry’s me

Jazsimone · 28/03/2023 16:17

@pillerpink I had every symptom going and had a BFN 😢 so please try to relax, look after yourself and try to wait it out.

pillerpink · 28/03/2023 16:20

Thank you for replying @Jazsimone and I’m sorry to hear about your bfn xx I hope you get your bfp soon 💕💕

Bookiebooboo · 28/03/2023 16:21

Hi @zus how did your transfer go today? How you feeling xx 😘

Zus · 28/03/2023 20:30

@Bookiebooboo @Rainbowpeach Hey ladies,

My transfer went well today and it was quick. They allowed my daughter and husband as well so it was a good feeling ☺️
Now the waiting game start hahaha 😂 I'm sure I will not wait till the test date! I'll check day 7 or 8 for sure hahaha 😂 it is quite difficult to rest like before with my girl but my husband is helping me. She needs me and I have to be there for her too so this time everything is different from the start! I hope all goes well ☺️☺️

Rainbowpeach · 28/03/2023 20:47

@Zus that’s great it went well! Really niceee they allowed them in. My husband wasn’t allowed to come in. 😂 yea waiting is soooo hard! And once you start testing you will keep testing every morning lol. Very excited for you, wishing you baby dust 💞

@Rainbowpeach Thank you very much Hun 💓

At first they did mention that children are not allowed but the doctor kindly let my girl and husband. It was a nice feeling to be around them while they did the transfer.

I used to lie down for 15 mins after the transfer in the room but this time I couldn't hold my urine lol 🤣 so after 5 mins I just went to the toilet.

Thank you and hope it works out ☺️ ☺️

Bookiebooboo · 28/03/2023 21:37

Aww @zus I’m so glad it went well and was special for you to have both daughter and husband in the room! That’s amazing!! Did it hurt? Lol I have visions of it hurting as some people say they do feel uncomfortable and others say they feel nothing about the same as an ultrasound lol 😂, what did your clinic advise you? Bed rest or resume normal activity after a couple of days rest? I know it must be hard with the little one to look after but also look at it like a distraction so you dont go mad in the TWW hahahah you won’t have time lol 😂 xx

Cookiecrush · 28/03/2023 22:08

@Zus congratulations! Good luck with the wait!

@Jazsimone I'm sorry to hear about your result I hope you are ok, IVF is all so hard and grueling.

@pillerpink I felt so not pregnant and actually still don't so this is not an indicator at all. Hang in there. Take your mind off of it whenever possible!!

Rainbowpeach · 29/03/2023 12:41

@pillerpink welcome to the group, oh so had no major symptoms as well even till now and I had a BFP so don’t worry tooo much. I know it’s easier said than done especially about not testing, I had no will power and started testing from day 4! Hahaha but it caused alot of anxiety everyday so definitely not recommended

@Jazsimone im so sorry to hear, IVF is so so so hard and I understand how hard it can be to get a BFN after going through so much. I had 4 failed IVF cycles last year and it was the hardest thing ever but the most important thing is taking care of yourself and being kind to yourself. I’m wishing you well 💞

@zus haha you could lie down for 15mins wow, no way, I always ran to pee straight away after the transfer! Haha

Zus · 29/03/2023 14:05

@Rainbowpeach oh it's hard to hold the urine after the transfer haha 😂

@Jazsimone I'm so so sorry to hear about your bfn. IVF usually hurt like hell! It's a poison but we have to go through it somehow. I hope things will work for you. All the best.

@pillerpink hey, don't worry about the symptoms at all because not all the pregnancy are same. Some people feel morning sickness, and other symptoms but I don't have any symptoms. I always have back pain for the first 3 days after the transfer. That's it. All the best 😃

Zus · 29/03/2023 14:40

@Bookiebooboo hey Hun, thank you. She is only 15 months so she will be my distraction haha 😂

It doesn't hurt at all it's just uncomfortable as you will have full bladder and they will press your tummy for a good view. It is uncomfortable 😣

My clinic advise me to carry on with normal activities but I took rest for a week for my previous transfer but this time I can't do that so at least rest for 3 days and then carry on with normal activity but I will limit certain work.

Oh this IVF is such a pain!

How are you? What's the latest update from your end? Hope all ok 😊

Jazsimone · 29/03/2023 17:48

Girls I don’t believe it, we spoke to our consultant today. She basically said that it was the embryo and they are going to up my dose of progesterone.
we start treatment ….. TOMORROW

I am so excited, more excited than nervous.

Rainbowpeach · 29/03/2023 18:05

@Jazsimone are wonderful, are you starting another FET cycle? What was the embryo? Didn’t get that

OP posts:
Jazsimone · 29/03/2023 18:11

@Rainbowpeach
Sorry i wasn't very clear, our consultant said that the embryo was the cause of the failed cycle.

Yes another FET as we have 7 embryos frozen still.

I'm just really please.

Rainbowpeach · 29/03/2023 18:27

@Jazsimone ah I see, that’s great to understand what went wrong the last time. Amazing news you start tomorrow!!! Yay, you must be excited :)

Hi everyone! Thank you @Cookiecrush @Rainbowpeach thats so nice to hear that.

I am so glad to have find this group as I’ve been so anxious during this wait! It’s mind boggling! I’m now 6dp5td. I’m going to try and wait until the test date. Do you ladies think cramping is normal!

pillerpink · 29/03/2023 21:00

Thank you @Jazsimone 🙏🏽💕

Bookiebooboo · 30/03/2023 06:58

Heyyy @zus that’s great it all went so well and now you’re in the TWW take it easy (kind of) lol get hubby to help out more haha! My transfer should have been tomorrow but now they have changed it to 28th of April if lining plays ball this cycle!! I’m on progyluton 12mg daily, 100mg aspirin and 800mg of uttogestan along with 100mg of thyroid meds as my TSH came back high, got to stop all meds tomorrow and wait for AF to come then start as advised by doc, next scan is 13april so I’ll keep you posted, lol I had laid out tasks for my husband to help me hahah like he must walk my crazy ass dog ( he never walks her) she’s and English bulldog but acts like a greyhound and wants 300 walks a day 🤣🤣🤣 soooo hyper lol 😂 and make me dinners for a change 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

pillerpink · 30/03/2023 08:38

@Bookiebooboo hello, my lining was 5.9 on my scan day and then they added the patches which made the difference - it increased to 9.3 in 4 days. I also increased my vit e to twice a day (400iu)

Zus · 30/03/2023 11:42

@Bookiebooboo oh that's what I'm doing hahah 🤣 he is doing the cleaning (not clean enough still lol) and cooking plus looking after my baby girl. I want to rest at least 3 days and from Saturday onwards I will be back to normal as my baby miss me so much. I'm waiting resting lol 🤣

Awww that is good to know you have a transfer date! I really wish and pray that it happens on that day. I'm sure it will happen ☺️

Now you can enjoy Easter break with the family, you can drink 🍻 if you had the transfer tomorrow you couldn't have done anything except resting lol 😂 time will fly and update me after your scan.

Hope your husband enjoy walking with dog 🐕🙂 I'm sure there will be complains 😂😂

laurapop · 30/03/2023 13:33

Hi everyone hope I'm okay to join. I had a successful FET in March 2020 which gave me my daughter :). Now trying for a second and have so far had 1 FET in February that ended in a chemical unfortunately.

I've got my next FET scheduled for next weds (5th), and had my lining checked today. I've never had an issue with lining thickness, but today she did a few measurements and they varied between 5.5-7. They are going to get the doctor to review to decide next steps. Feeling a bit deflated and anxious now!

@pillerpink just read your message about your lining. Did you have your scan around a week before too and then they upped your estrogen dosage? I'm hoping that will be the case for me and they don't cancel the cycle :(. Can't really find much online about it but would the lining not expect to get any thicker between now and my transfer date in a week anyway? Appreciate any advice you may have! xx

pillerpink · 30/03/2023 17:32

Hi @laurapop

that's lovely to hear it worked for you once before and sorry to hear about your chemical,

Yes, mine was 4 days before, the estrogen patches made this difference in 4 days! I also took 400 iu of vit E. My transfer date did get pushed by 5 days as I had to take the 5 days of progesterone which was already part of the plan.

I felt the same as you, really deflated but it worked out so hopefully yours will too. Best of luck and try not to stress, which is easier said than done. Xx
