Looking to find some friends who are going to be going through a FET in February.

Thanks everyone for coming back to me. Like everyone, you just what it so bad and I remember the pain last time. I only have one more frozen embryo with my NHS funded round so that is always in back on my mind.

@Aishae Good Luck. I really hope it is good news for you.

@BronteGirl1985 I really feel for you - I have dealt with both types of results and either way you will need support! I wish you all the best and as others have said, symptoms is a good sign xx

@BronteGirl1985 good luck! I think try and slot in activities to take your mind off the results. My friend called me the day I did my blood test and the distraction was much needed. Go out and do something nice for yourself.

I think it's natural everyone tries to look out for symptoms and it doesn't mean anything either way most times.

Just curious how many HCG test are most people doing post the first positive result?

I've convinced myself mine hasn’t worked - I’m 7dp5dt and feel nothing! Just slight cramps and tired from meds.

when did your symptoms begin @Aishae ?

This is going to be the longest week ever! And doesn’t help I’m waking at 5am each day with anxiety! (Maybe that’s why I’m tired!)

Hi thanks all. I beyond excited. I was loosing hope yesterday because my results were taking so long to come, I only received today. I started symptoms like the second day post transfer with sore breasts. Day 6 I got spotting and cramping, sore back, metallic taste in mouth. I still cannot believe and it's all tears for me because I'm in awe. Retesting tomorrow.

@Stillhoping1990 try not to read too much into the symptoms. I had all the symptoms previously and they were chemical whereas this time I didn't feel much at all. Take your mind off it by doing activities you love with your girlfriend's.

@BronteGirl1985 Thank you for checking in. I’ve really convinced myself it hasn’t worked as I’m having a full heavy feeling in the mornings like my period is about to start. I can’t make up my mind if I should do the HPT on Saturday or wait for Monday for the bloods. I keep changing my mind!

@Stillhoping1990 I feel the exactly the same. I just don't feel hopeful as much as I would love a miracle. Well sending you lots of Baby Dust and hopefully you get a BFP.

I am just so scared to test. Such a bad relationship with HPT. Never seen a positive test in last 4 years.

@BronteGirl1985 are you going to wait for your blood test and Thursday? Will you wait for that then?
yesssss exactly, I have never in my life seen a positive HPT and I really can’t bare to see that one line show up again - it’s always a massive kick in the teeth.
how are you feeling symptom wise? Anything new?

@Stillhoping1990 going to test tomorrow morning. I've finished work today, so I haven't got to worry about that till next week.

No symptoms as I think they are all estrogen or progesterone related.

I will take a break after this till the summer to get myself in the right frame of mind.

How about you? Any symptoms or thoughts? X

@BronteGirl1985 Ah that’s good you won’t have to think about work. Unfortunately, I can’t get out of work for a while.
I just have period type cramps and feels extremely tired but this is probably meds. No sore boobs or bloating or anything else! It’s so exhausting isn’t it! I wish you so much luck with your HPT tomorrow.
mid it doesn’t work for me this time, we will have to start exploring implantation issues. I think they say it involves doing a mock cycle. And yes I think I’d need some time off too!

Had my beta today and had the results I'm 13dpt 5dt. My result was 914 hcg. I don't know if that's good?

I got a BFN sadly. Was our last embryo too so back to the beginning again. Luckily paid for a 2 cycle package so don't have to shell out for a whole other round, just the meds.

@blueskies94 sorry to hear your news. Don’t give up and thank goodness you got two cycles.

This is my last as well - if it doesn’t work we will start over and probably at a new clinic.

I wondered, are any of you ladies using a London clinic?

@Megan1591 my result was 1095 and I was told that was good. Once you do the second blood test it has to at least double. If it does, all seems to be fine. I was loosing my mind over the numbers only to be later told any higher number is a good number and shows a healthy pregnancy. I don't know why the clinic doesn't tell this right away...

@Stillhoping1990 If you mean London Women's Clinic (Harley St.) I'd stay away from them. I felt like a number, totally impersonal. My current clinic is not very much better but there's still a huge difference. I heard the other at the Bank is better but I walked away after the initial negative experience.

@peonygirl yes, we are with London Women’s Clinic and we haven’t been at all impressed. Impersonal, hard to contact when there’s a problem and we just feel like a number. Nothing has been explained to us properly and we always see a different Dr. I wish I’d done my research before choosing - I was in such an emotional and desperate state that I chose just the first clinic that popped up on Google.
What’s your current clinic?

@blueskies94 really sorry to hear your news. I hope your clinic can change some things with your next cycle so it's successful.

@Stillhoping1990 I am with Eugin in Barcelona and am not very happy either. All communication is via email rather than phone call, every time it's a different dr although I was suppose to have my own team. Even transfer was done by a new dr which really threw me off and they keep on psyching me up with the test results, rather than positive support. I'd go with Tambre in Madrid otherwise but for several reasons I went back to Eugin.

@peonygirl yes our transfer was with a different dr too. It’s such a shame these clinics are not doing their best to support us through a very difficult and emotional time. Especially when they want astronomical amounts of money! It’s not fair.
