Hi!
Looking to find some friends who are going to be going through a FET in February.

😊

OP posts:

BFN for me. 😢
So back to the beginning again.

Piapea · 02/03/2023 10:41

I'm so sorry @FlapJackered , it's so so hard xx

Aishae · 02/03/2023 11:50

O man. So sorry @FlapJackered . ❤

ingkir · 02/03/2023 13:26

Really sorry @FlapJackered . This whole process is so horrible and unfair.

FlapJackered · 02/03/2023 14:28

Thanks. So unfair. Why does it have to be so difficult!
Lots of luck to everyone yet to test.

blueskies94 · 02/03/2023 14:53

Can I ask when everyone's official test day was? I've been told 16 days post 5-day embryo transfer which seems really late!

And when did people actually take the first test?

So sorry you didn't get better news @FlapJackered

BronteGirl1985 · 02/03/2023 15:02

I am so sorry @FlapJackered I really am.

I am having a tough day, I am expecting the worst and hoping for the best.

My OTD is Thursday 9th but might test on Wednesday.

I just like this little PUPO bubble.

Maya34 · 02/03/2023 16:25

@FlapJackered so sorry for you, it is so unfair... I hope next time will be your! I wish you good luck, please take care🙏🏻

WhiteJasmin · 02/03/2023 17:00

@FlapJackered sorry you didn't get the result you wanted. It didn't work for me last cycle and I found out just before Christmas so it was awful. Take the time to process. My clinic offered free counselling which I found helpful to have someone to talk to and help with perspective. There's a high probability it will happen just depends on which round. Hope you get the support you need and you can work out a new game plan with the doctor now knowing what you learnt from the cycle.

Stillhoping1990 · 02/03/2023 18:22

@FlapJackered i also had this terrible news last year just before Christmas. The pain and disappointment is still raw. Take some time to be you and do all the things you love most. Sometimes in this process we can forget ourselves and who we are. But also take some time to be upset and let it all out.

ingkir · 02/03/2023 18:38

@Piapea Glad you got the extra progesterone. Compared to other IVF/FET medications the pessaries are cheap so I don't know why clinics don't just prescribe it until 9 weeks as standard.

@blueskies94 That is late. My clinic says to test 9 days post 5 day transfer. I first tested at 7 days but got an inconclusive result so definitely don't recommend it

Saltisford · 02/03/2023 20:49

@FlapJackered I’m so sorry for your news.

@blueskies94 I have been given tomorrow as my test date which is 11 dpt but I’m pretty sure last time the date I was given was 10 dpt? Really I’d rather wait longer just to make sure the result is definitely accurate but can’t as I don’t have enough meds to keep me going forever!

Aishae · 03/03/2023 03:20

@blueskies94 I have also been given 16 days to test post day 5 FET

blueskies94 · 03/03/2023 09:20

I wonder why the test dates are all different!

Saltisford · 03/03/2023 15:41

I cannot believe it - I have got a BFP!!!!! I’m now in shock thinking about next steps!!!

WhiteJasmin · 03/03/2023 19:50

@Saltisford congratulations!!! Take one step at a time.

Stillhoping1990 · 03/03/2023 19:53

@Saltisford congrats! How was your 2ww? Did you have any symptoms or nothing at all? It seems most people are saying they don’t get any x

Saltisford · 03/03/2023 20:20

Thank you!

@Stillhoping1990

I didn’t have this with my first pregnancy but since Wednesday, (so day 9) I have felt nauseous and have some mild cramps!

Piapea · 03/03/2023 20:28

Congratulations @Saltisford so happy for you!

ingkir · 03/03/2023 21:14

Great news @Saltisford. Congratulations!

BronteGirl1985 · 05/03/2023 09:12

Hi everyone,

Please could I have some advice, I still haven't tested as I am not ready to know yet. I am currently 10DP5DT with HCG blood on Thursday, I have some symptoms, but I know they could be AF.

The main things are sensitive boobs(not sore or swollen) cramps on and off, back, and hip aches.

However, I have a complete loss of appetite, and for a few minutes after eating some nausea but then I worry it's all in my head as I want it so badly.

Can anyone relate to a similar situation or give me any of advice.

I am feeling quite deflated and negative about it all, which is so difficult.

Thanks 😊

Piapea · 05/03/2023 09:21

Those are all really promising symptoms @BronteGirl1985 , this is basically how I felt at 10dp5dt and I got a BFP. Sadly all of these symptoms can be due to progesterone also. The only way to know is to test. I totally understand the desire to stay in the little PUPO bubble for as long as you can though, so don't do it until you're ready xx

BronteGirl1985 · 05/03/2023 09:31

@Piapea Thank you for coming back to me. I don't think I am ready to know its not worked yet. I tested on 10DP5DT with fresh as I found it so difficult.

Forever chasing that positive test.

Aishae · 05/03/2023 11:10

Being in the PUPO bubble is a safe zone. I went to test today 16DP5DT. Waiting for results is killing. I feel I don't want to know the results. I don't want to answer my phone. I just don't want to know. As hubby and I decided this is our last cycle.

I have all the symptoms, sore boobs, metallic taste in mouth, sore back and hips, spotted on day 6 post transfer and had slight cramps. I didn't have all these with my previous cycles. Previous cycles were fresh. This is my first Frozen.

ingkir · 05/03/2023 11:58

@BronteGirl1985 the wait is so hard! My clinic said not to try not to symptom spot because progesterone gives similar symptoms to pregnancy. Saying that, I started taking progesterone 5 days before my transfer and only started getting cramps, hip and back ache 2 days after the transfer (and got a BFP). I really hope you get good news on Thursday.

@Aishae the limbo just before you get the result is the hardest part I think. Wishing you all the baby dust!
