Wow congrats to everyone on their BFPs! 🥳 I had my frozen 5 day blast transfer on Monday 20th February. I’ve to go for a blood test on Wednesday 1st March. I’m feeling quite low because last time I was pregnant (fresh transfer October 2022) I knew quite early as I had signs I was pregnant; taste in mouth sore boobs etc. people had even commented I looked different- apparently I had a glow 😆 this time absolutely nothing at all 😔

@LittleAm try not to feel down. Every pregnancy is different so it doesn’t mean it hasn’t worked. I don’t really have any symptoms and I got my BFP on Monday. I just feel very tired but I think that’s down to the medication and prob the stress of this whole process. You start off anxious about the whole process then spend 2 weeks so anxious about the result and then you swap feeling anxious about that to feeling anxious about it all going wrong! I am 5 weeks today and that’s when I first started bleeding with what turned out to be an ectopic last year so feeling very nervous atm. Can’t wait to get the first scan done xx

@Pax89 thank you so much for replying, I’ve not told anyone this time round as it really hurt to have to tell people about the loss last time. I think I’m just comparing this to that, and I need to accept that each time is different! Sending lots of positive thoughts for your next bloods! Xx

@LittleAm I really get that. We wish we had been able to keep it private but because my partner works with family it was impossible for him to get the time off for the appointments without them guessing what was going on. I know people mean well but sometimes you just need to be left alone to deal with things in your own way! Thank you and I really hope it works out for you xx

I also had my BFP, pretty anxious about the ultrasound in 2 weeks - hope everything will be ok!

@LittleAm try not to think about symptoms too much because each time it's different. The first time I had my chemical pregnancy I felt "pregnant" too. But this time not so much. If I didn't do a blood test I wouldn't know.

@Maya34 thank you! This is my first blood test that came back as "pregnant" rather than "chemical pregnancy" so I feel it's progress but yeah anxious over every "cramp" at the moment.

Had my transfer done on Wednesday 22nd, it was a 5AA. So really hoping it sticks. Had cramping on one side. At the hospital for a blood test on 7th March. Don't think I can wait until then to test, when did you guys test?

@Megan1591 I waited until the official blood test and didn't test ahead at home. Partly due to my prior chemical pregnancy which a home test would say positive and I get all excited. I don't want to be let down later when the blood test results comes back.

@Megan1591 Thank you! The doctor suggested waiting at least 10-11 days after the transfer, I tested on 9dpt morning and got a faint positive result, but I also had a blood test on this day later (my otd was earlier due to a flight). So I think it is better to wait for otd cause testing before might give a false negative which could be a stress.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to hold off until 10dpt. Got a bad feeling that it didn't take this time.

Congratulations on the positives! I've tested this morning and it hasn't worked. Those were my last embryos so need to psyche myself up for another round of IVF and maybe trying a new clinic so that I feel like I've tried everything. Hoping for a better result for the rest of you still to test!

@Yel I'm sorry to hear the results. Would you want to go back to the same clinic to get a debrief session or you reckon you have given them enough chances and to try a new doctor?

@WhiteJasmin we originally were choosing between two clinics, one was offering full bells and whistles and the other was more straight talking and realistic. We went with the latter. They have been great but against extras they think dont change outcomes. I wanted that pragmatism for our first round but think if we just try one more then maybe we just try everything which the other clinic would provide.

I think for now though we will probably take a breather, it's been 2.5 years of thinking about all this and life has felt like it's been on pause.

@Yel it's my second round with the same clinic. I found that it was helpful to learn how my body reacted to the doses of the first round. We would probably try another round with the same provider and if it didn't work and consider another clinic maybe for the 4th or 5th if we needed it. For my second round they were able to improve the egg maturity for me which I think helped based on what they prescribed this time. Hope the clinic gets back to you with a good game plan!

Im so so sorry @Yel it's just so hard and takes so much energy and time from your life. ❤️ We are going to be in a similar position if this cycle doesn't work - starting again and I have already starting thinking whether we go with a different clinic.
We are with ABC and they are so lovely and kind but it really is no bells or whistles no hormone blood tests and not even a hcg test if you're pregnant. I literally had one scan and then transfer this time, no other checks. Which is great if it works but I can't help thinking what if my progesterone levels aren't right? Etc.
