Hi!
Looking to find some friends who are going to be going through a FET in February.

😊

OP posts:
NorthernDuckling · 10/02/2023 07:21

I had my FET on Tuesday, it was a sedated transfer so felt a bit groggy so didn’t update, my OTD is 20/2 but I think I’m going to do a sneaky test on 19/2 because I’d rather know on the Sunday than Monday when I’ve got to work.

@blueskies94 i was weighed because they needed my weight for sedation and I didn’t know it but no one else was weighed that I saw and I’ve never been weighed before.

Pax89 · 10/02/2023 07:49

Hi @blueskies94 I wasn’t weighed at any of my appointments for my FET either X

Piapea · 13/02/2023 08:39

How is everyone doing on this group?

@FlapJackered my last 2 frozen rounds were cancelled because my ovulation wasn't tracked properly. I used at home ovulating kits, got my surge but when I went for my scan, what they saw on the scan didn't match up. They mentioned collapsed follicle and they couldn't date it properly. That happened twice so it's been really frustrating.
I had a trigger shot on Saturday so they know for sure and can get the dates right.

@RMS0209 I ready hope AF has shown up at this point and you're getting ready for transfer.

I just popped my first Cyclogest this morning and my transfer will be on Thursday, I'm so excited!

Yel · 13/02/2023 09:48

Hope the baseline went well for you @blueskies94 and that the transfer has stuck for you @NorthernDuckling. I definitely think test when you can process on your own.

I'll be transferring Thursday also @Piapea! I started lubion injections and cyclogest over the weekend. Also taking some additional medication (steroids and aspirin) this round to see if it helps with implantation 🙏

blueskies94 · 13/02/2023 10:03

Good luck @Yel and @Piapea with your transfers!

My baseline scan went well thanks, and they didn't weigh me 🙌

Now just 10 days of estrogen to get through before the next scan. Does estrogen make anyone else feel incredibly tired?

LauraHeart321 · 13/02/2023 17:34

I have my scan tomorrow to make sure the cyst has disappeared then hopefully I can start meds next week!!! Fingers and toes crossed. Hope everyone is doing OK xx

Yel · 14/02/2023 10:04

That's good @blueskies94 👍 I don't think the estrogen makes any difference to me but I have been struggling to wake up the last few mornings, probably just laziness but could be I guess linked to the progesterone/steroids I take before bed.

This FET will be our last then back into IVF if it doesn't work. Has anyone done a second (or more) rounds? How long did you take to rest/build up to it again?

ingkir · 15/02/2023 13:08

Baby dust to everyone already in the TWW! Hope you're not going to crazy with all the waiting

I have my transfer in an hour so just drinking 2 pints of water to make sure my bladder is full. Really hoping the clinic isn't running late!

Pax89 · 15/02/2023 20:42

Hi @ingkir I hope it all went ok? It will be a week tomorrow since I had my transfer. All this waiting feels like forever!! X

WhiteJasmin · 16/02/2023 05:01

@Pax89 almost there!

I had my transfer - had one embryo that was tracking well and one was a bit borderline. I think given the comments about the eggs not looking great they ended up transferring both embryo in and hope for the best. I don't really have high hopes because I had 2 chemical pregnancies all up and the comment about eggs not looking great initially. Here's hoping!

ingkir · 16/02/2023 08:43

@Pax89 you've made it through 1 week of waiting! When will you test?

My transfer went fine and I have one embryo onboard. My clinic says to test 9 days after transfer day so just over a week away.

Pax89 · 16/02/2023 21:58

@WhiteJasmin Good luck 😊you just never know. I have read so many stories of people that don’t have the best quality embryos and get the result they are looking for and vise versa. I’m sorry

Pax89 · 16/02/2023 21:59

oops didn’t mean to post that so soon! I’m sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancies, that must have been really hard x

Pax89 · 16/02/2023 22:04

@ingkir glad all went ok. My clinic says 11 days so test day is Monday. We stupidly tested early (this morning) and it was negative. I know it’s too early to be sure and we shouldn’t have done it as we now feel like it has prob not worked. We tested after this length of time last time and got a positive so that is not helping.

do you think you will wait til test day? I would recommend waiting x

WhiteJasmin · 17/02/2023 09:13

@Pax89 it is hard experiencing chemical pregnancies but hopefully like the doctor says it means I can get pregnant. Fingers crossed.

I say don't test early. My clinic said with the injections I'm taking it's not going to give an accurate result unless I do the blood test on the set say.

Pax89 · 17/02/2023 15:21

@WhiteJasmin What injections are you having if you don’t mind me asking? I’m taking cyclogest pessaries 2x a day, the eastrogen tablets 3x a day and 1 x Lubion injection per day.

WhiteJasmin · 17/02/2023 19:26

@Pax89 I'm only taking 6 clicks of Ovidrel every 3 days to help with implantation.

ingkir · 18/02/2023 07:22

@Pax89 Sorry your first test came back negative. But you're not out yet! Hoping the test on monday gives you good news.

I'll test one day early because I have to go to the office on OTD and i don't want to be around people if it's bad news.

Yel · 19/02/2023 06:10

Morning all, hope everyone is doing OK in their TWW! I'm feeling nervous because I'm after picking up a 24 hour bug and can't help but think it can't be good for implantation. I did think during one vomiting bout maybe this is what morning sickness would be like which is a pretty grim thing to almost be looking forward to! Hope everyone else's weekend is going better 🤒

WhiteJasmin · 19/02/2023 09:15

@Yel tww is hard for sure. Lots of advice from different people. Some say bed rest, some say go about my day normally. Or the other popular one "stop stressing". Kind of feel guilty either way if it doesn't work out.

Aishae · 19/02/2023 13:28

Hi
Done a day 5 FET transfer yesterday 18/02/23.
Meds - estrofem and utrogestan.
Testing 05/03/23

Megan1591 · 20/02/2023 06:58

Hi,
Am I ok to join?
I did egg collection back in November. Now I have FET this Wednesday. So nervous! Has anyone had their progesterone tested the day before? If so what sort of levels did you have?
TIA

Stillhoping1990 · 20/02/2023 07:34

Hello everyone!
I’ve just seen this thread - I have my FET next week on Monday. This will be my second FET- first one failed in December. The dreaded 2ww is approaching. Clinic tells us to test at 14days but we will likely test earlier this time at 10days.
@Megan1591 last time my progesterone was tested the morning of transfer and the results were not given until after the transfer and was too low! I was very upset about this - I think they should have checked results before transferring! I wonder if low progesterone is why it failed - because it was a beautiful 4AA embryo. So this time they have upped my progesterone medications and apparently no test needed because my levels will be high with all the meds.

Piapea · 20/02/2023 11:47

Congratulations @Pax89 @WhiteJasmin @Yel @Aishae and @ingkir on being PUPO! And good luck to everyone undergoing their transfer this week.
I had mine on Thursday. My test date is Monday the 27th but I'll probably test on the Sunday to avoid having to go to work on possibly bad news.

I have a question about progesterone for all of you ladies popping the capsules at the moment. How are you feeling? I literally feel nothing. No sore boobs, no change to anything. I don't know if I should ask my clinic for a progesterone test. I know we shouldn't compare symptoms but I'm getting worried🙁

Megan1591 · 20/02/2023 12:15

@Stillhoping1990
That sucks! I'm sorry they didn't test for you.
What progesterone have they got you on? I'm utrogesten - 2x200mg pessaries twice daily. 800mg daily total dose. If progesterone is low tomorrow, then i will be recommended lubion injections ( which I think are quite costly and painful)
