First cycle - IVF / ICSI - Day 4

My hubby and I are on day 4 of stims - our first IVF cycle. Just wondering if there's anyone else in the same boat who might want to share the journey? :)

@Strawberry08 thank you, but it doesn't sound great.
Embryo is average quality, and is currently 7 cell (I have no real idea what that means) 🙈
But I have a transfer time, but we won't know if we are on to go ahead until Tuesday morning when they check it and ring me back..
just got to try and keep positive ❤️🤞🏻

Embryo Arrested at some point on Sunday 😢

Crap news, but got to keep positive for future rounds.. I'll get a call this afternoon with the rough timescales for a new round, I'm assuming it's going to be about 3/4 months 😢

@User491 oh gosh I am so sorry to hear that 🥺 not the news you wanted at all. Stay positive. I hope they get the new round planned asap and that it’s a really successful one.

Will need a bit of time to get back to normal, but I've been told I'll get a video call in 4-6 weeks and there is no wait list currently, so I'm thankful for that at least!

@JennyF84 thank you 😊 no this was round 2, we get 3 on the NHS, hoping they make some changes for the next one 🤞🏻
Very thankful to have the 3 though, as some people are not as lucky!

@Koalie thank you, obviously wasn't meant to be this time round. Still a shock/not sunk in totally yet.. we will get there one day 😊

@User491 we got ours from the fertility family website and both myself and my husband took it along with Vit D and fish oil. It shouldn’t be taken alongside any anti oxidants so we tried to keep the rest of our vitamins to a minimum. Xx

I've started my 3rd round, on down reg at the mo, and go in for collection 2/11 all being well. Third time lucky 🍀 🤞🏻

@User491 hey! All good here thank you. I’ve got 4-5 weeks to go.
Il reply for @Izzie94x as she may have her hands slightly full… she welcomed a beautiful baby boy a few days ago, just before her due date!
