[Infertilitylife]

Hello,

My partner and I need IVF due to MFI. We are hoping to start treatment in January 2023.

I had my fertility ultrasound scans today and these are my results:

AFC -

Left Ovary - 13 follicles
Right Ovary - 14 follicles

My Endo thickness was 7.3mm (cycle day 10).

I have no masses, cysts, fluid etc - everything looked smooth and normal.
How do these results seem?

I was also told I have a retroverted uterus - will this affect IVF?

I’ve came on today so 🤞🏼 i have a 28 day cycle this month and will be able to start 2 days after I get back off holiday so transfer will be end June / early July 🤞🏼🤞🏼

In other news, my scan yesterday went very well. I have my trigger tonight and transfer next Friday 🤩🤞🏼✨

Having a holiday will be a great distraction during your TWW then! Will you be testing whilst away then or wait until you’re back?

My holiday is 2nd-10th June to Benidorm 😃 then AF is due 15th June so all being well I can start the FET process then with transfer beginning of July 🤞🏼

There's 10 of us going from my household, my mums household and my sisters household. So there's no way I'd get away with not drinking. They'd know straight away. We wanted to keep it to ourselves for a while, but it's fallen right in line with the holiday because we didn't want to wait until after (it's been almost 3 months since EC!).

So we're testing at 9dpt on the 4th June I think. The worst bit about it is my son knowing so early in case something happens 😕
I had contemplated telling everyone on holiday and just not telling him yet but I'd really love him to be the first person we told because he'll be so happy and excited. Perhaps I'm too sentimental.

And if it's negative, I'll just spend the week distracting myself with Gyros and cocktails!!

@Sj2505 At least if you are testing before you go it will allow you to relax / distract yourself more while you're away.

I understand what you mean about telling your son first! My best friend is my nurse and my DH was a bit put out that she would know if I was pregnant before we told family (we wouldn’t tell certain members until 12 weeks cause they’re just a tad over bearing 🫣) and he wanted his mom to know before my friend (MIL being the overbearing one 😂) so I don’t want her knowing we are even going for the transfer or anything until we know it’s definitely successful.
We haven’t come to an agreement yet as to wether I should request a different nurse (not happening) or we should just not tell his mom until last (most likely what will happen) 😂 but I agree with you wanting your son to know first, it will be amazing news for him so I can see why you’d like him to know first and share in your excitement ❤️

It has been a long time since I posted on here. Eventually had our FET on the 4th May and I'm currently 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant :)

I’ve ordered meds today. Thyroid is going down slowly, which is promising! I’ll call the clinic CD1 to see when to start norethisterone for our second cycle.

I think I might have gone mad! I'm 4dp5dt and I've tested 🙈
It's looking like an early BFP though! What do you think?? 🤞🏼
The embryologist was surprised to see that it had started hatching so I guess that would help it to implant quicker. I've had lots of twinges, aches and pains between 1-3dpt but they had settled a bit today to just slight, non-painful twinges, so hopefully that was the bulk of implantation??
I'm cautiously excited! I won't get too excited until I see line progression 😍

Ps. As always, it looks darker in real life.

@Brown269 I really am! I still don't quite believe it. Part of me is still telling myself all these other explanations other than a BFP 😂
It'll sink in as they get darker though I'm sure!!

@Sj2505 Yeah I imagine! But guessing you’ll be constantly checking line progression now anyway so I’m sure you’ll see them getting darker quickly 🥳

So I'll have to start line progression again! I have 10 easy@home coming today as I wasn't planning on testing so early haha. So I'll track a true progression (hopefully!) with those.

@Sj2505 I have got 2 FRER’s and one clear blue digital, with every intention that I will only test 3 days before OTD so they will be sufficient…, but I know full well I’ll end up sending DH up boots to get more when it comes to it 😂😂

Meds have arrived today, which is good. Just need to wait for my period to start now which should be the end of next week, then I call to find out when to take norethisterone.

These next few weeks are going to drag!
