[Infertilitylife]

Hello,

My partner and I need IVF due to MFI. We are hoping to start treatment in January 2023.

I had my fertility ultrasound scans today and these are my results:

AFC -

Left Ovary - 13 follicles
Right Ovary - 14 follicles

My Endo thickness was 7.3mm (cycle day 10).

I have no masses, cysts, fluid etc - everything looked smooth and normal.
How do these results seem?

I was also told I have a retroverted uterus - will this affect IVF?

@MsSandyToes transfer went ahead with a 5ba embyro much better quality then i was ever expecting especially since im 40 .i have one other embyro but they will make a call tomorrow if its worth freezing or no good.so far this even just very crampy

@zarascan47 Congratulations on being PUPO! Fingers crossed for the other embryo. Hope you have a chance to relax a bit today 😊

@MsSandyToes Thanks feels weird like a long time coming. No other embyro from this round but thats ok it only takes one and this one was good quality and the round wasnt for nothing so im fine about that looking at positives. yesterday i did nothing sat on sofa watched tv and had my mcdonalds fries. Today im working from home feeling crampy and abit nauseous this morning

@zarascan47 I’m sorry about your other embryo. I know how that feels, same boat as me, just the one blast.

I had some sharp cramping for a while, it’s mainly died down now, just period cramping feeling from the progesterone.

@zarascan47 sorry about the other embryo. I only had one blast too. My other three didn't make it. Like you say it only takes one and I feel the same, the round was a success with one.

We had our offer on a house accepted yesterday! I was delighted yesterday but now I'm quite scared. Everything seems to be going so well at the moment, almost too well and I'm nervous what will go wrong. 😬

@MsSandyToes Congrats on the accepted house offer.

Sometimes I think it’s be easier to move, we have so much work to do on this house, but prices are ridiculous at the moment! I’d just be buying a house the size we already have that’s finished inside for like an extra 100k but… I keep staring at wooden floors and no skirting boards. Not so sure house Reno money will go on house Reno…

@Sj2505 Sharp cramping was night of transfer, it wasn’t an expanded blast or anything so I’m just putting that down to effect of transfer. I’m trying to not symptom spot, the progesterone is making me feel a bit iffy.

All I can hope for is that it’s thinking about implanting today. I have a little implantation calendar, at 3dp5dt, the blast should (hopefully) be digesting endometrial cells to begin implantation and burrow into the lining.

@Autumbreeze I have a fibroid, so I have booked a lap myomectomy in a couple of weeks, that is why I was planning on FET from the beginning, the surgery will give me the best chances for implantation, and then I need to wait around 6 months to transfer (which makes me so anxious, lol). In the meanwhile we will text our known donor for DNA fragmentation, hopefully, he is OK as we really want him as our donor, but otherwise, we would have to consider other options.

Good luck with your transfer, I really hope this is the one! :)

@zarascan47 It is a good quality blast, I am sure it will work, you will see.

@MsSandyToes good luck with the house, it is such a stressful process, but this is your year, you will see.

i didn’t test my husband want to wait until test day, so we’re still hanging on here 12 days later!! We’re going to test Friday morning as we’re both working from home. Every so called symptom completely gone today

Just had to drive alllll the way to my clinic to get more sharps as they gave us NONE on Saturday. Left at 9.30. Just got home... took my mam for a ride even though she don't know we had transfer on Saturday so I'm using any excuse 😂 I'm feeling a lot better today. It's also a beautiful day here which lifts the mood. Not walking the dogs though... one pulls real bad so only want to walk them with DH but feel so guilty as it's so nice they love this weather.

@MsSandyToes congratulations on the house acceptance. Are you moving far from where you live now? They say these things come in threes. You need to do the lotto ☺️

@zarascan47 and @Lauralozzle how you both feeling today? Hope nice and chilled. My cramping seems to have stopped a lot now. My boobs are also less sore today to. Trying not to think about things ti much though.

@Tamtam123 fingers crossed you can use the donor you want!!! Also good luck with the op. 6 months will fly by for you I'm sure.

@Sj2505 no sign of AF yet?

@Vil so how many dpt will you be on Friday? You have very impressive restraint haha! I guess early signs can change so quickly and come and go, so try not to worry about symptoms (or lack of) too much 🙂

I waited last time and I'll probably wait this time... I may cave and do a day early on the Friday... I have that day off work as we was going to stay at our wedding venue for valentines but I cancelled it now as I was really unwell when my period came last time so it's a lot of money to risk if I'm not feeling well. Would have be amazing to have tested at our wedding venue though 🥰

@Tamtam123 Thank you. Hopefully your donor is fine about DNA frag test. That’s definitely our next step I think, if this doesn’t work. Although OH doesn’t know it’s the next step lol 😂

@Autumbreeze I’m glad you’re feeling better. It is lovely today, crisp but blue skies. Wish I wasn’t working!

My boobs are horrendous. This can be normal PMS though, I do sometimes get very painful boobs. Cramps not too bad, sometimes I feel nothing, sometimes I feel full ache. Lower back ache today.

It really does feel like my period is thinking about coming. FF and FLO both have me down to start tomorrow but obviously that’s not going to happen as it doesn’t take IVF cycles and timing into consideration. I ‘ovulated’ 4 days late.

I’m less antsy today though. Concentration levels getting back up. I think I’m coming to the realisation this is out of my control and what will be will be.

@Lauralozzle my AF is due on Monday According to my app. So a little way off. I always get cramps a week before it's due and sometimes my boobs get a little sore... but it's more the cramps usually.

@Autumbreeze I have 26 day cycles… it’s long if it gets to 28 days, with 11-12 day luteal phase. I always wondered if my short cycles mean there just isn’t time for anything to implant, if anything ever fertilised in the first place!

I’ll be 15dpt on Friday im last AF day but progesterone during IUIs have always delayed my period

@Autumbreeze sounds like a good idea to delay it for now but that would have been amazing if it had all fallen into place.

@Lauralozzle aw I see! I'm more or less 28-30 days. Just have nasty ones most months which is why I was out on the pill really young. Maybe that's what's going on?

@Vil my DH is the strong one to! If I did it early I wouldn't be able to tell him 😂

Morning all. After down reg does anyone remember experiencing increased CM?
There is so much going on down there, I keep thinking it's AF starting!
It's making me think that AF might still be a while off 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Autumbreeze Have you been diagnosed/investigated for endo? I know that can cause horrible periods.

@Sj2505 I had lots of creamy cm throughout downreg.

I'm thinking of booking our wedding venue for that overnight stay! If I'm unwell I can just hide in our room 😂 maybe a good distraction if we get a negative test. That place always makes me happy.
