Hello,

My partner and I need IVF due to MFI. We are hoping to start treatment in January 2023.

I had my fertility ultrasound scans today and these are my results:

AFC -

Left Ovary - 13 follicles
Right Ovary - 14 follicles

My Endo thickness was 7.3mm (cycle day 10).

I have no masses, cysts, fluid etc - everything looked smooth and normal.
How do these results seem?

I was also told I have a retroverted uterus - will this affect IVF?

@Autumbreeze and @Lauralozzle I’m using savings for it but it’s expensive each time to transfer ! It’s really tricky, I’m trying to ignore the money side as hoping it’ll be worth it 😩🙈

im on another thread where everyone tested before the official test day and loads of people have got their BFPs, it’s giving me hope, but also making me want to test sooner! I chickened out this morning !!!!

Morning all, sorry, I had such a busy weekend.
Saturday night was ok, possibly the longest 4 hours of my life though haha. Just wanted to get home.
Last day of down reg today ☺️ got a tablet this afternoon and this evening then just waiting for AF! I've been Googling and most people say AF arrived after 3 days. I'm excited to move on to the next stage. Hopefully will be able to start stims this week!

@Autumbreeze and @Lauralozzle so pleased you both made it to transfer.. I have everything crossed for you both!
How are you both feeling today?

@Autumbreeze I'm with CRGW 😁 the team are incredible! I've found them A LOT cheaper than Bourne Hall. But Bourne Hall pioneered IVF so I guess you pay for the name 🤷🏻‍♀️ DC was a Bourne Hall baby, but that was NHS cycle.

@MsSandyToes those tests look great! Bet you can't wait to get your scan date booked in. Do you have any symptoms yet?

@User491 I'm sure the increase in HR is a good sign! How are you feeling in yourself?

@Vil my 7 year old DC was first round luck, so definitely have hope!

@Tamtam123 sorry to hear your embryos didn't make it 😔 hopefully the clinic will have some answers and some suggestions for you! Do you have a follow up booked with them?

@Sj2505 Glad Saturday was ok. Last day of Down reg! Yay!

I’m ok. TMI but constipation is bad today! So must drink much more today! It’s still early, don’t really feel any different. Symptoms from progesterone but I’ve had them since before the transfer.

Sat here waiting for transfer nervous but glad i have something to use from this round not sure if i only have one embyro or still 2 or the grades not been told yet i just cant believe im at this point

@Lauralozzle I really need to improve my water intake too.
Good that you're getting to many effects from the transfer. I read a thread this morning and a woman was left with only a really poor quality embryo, that apparently she didn't even want to bother with the transfer, but she is now 30 weeks pregnant with that embaby ✨

@Lauralozzle I was the same a few days ago but feeling a lot better today. Today however I am very very dizzy! I wanted to pop up my mams but I really don't think I can drive!

@Sj2505 i have one grade 5ba embyro the other one trying to hatch so they will
monitor for one more day and make a call tomorrow if its no good so even though maybe only a one embyro round it wss better quality then i thought so had transfer at 11:30

@zarascan47 That’s fantastic news. Excellent quality. Hopefully they can freeze the other embryo.

These two weeks are going to drag. I thought with everything finished I’d be able to concentrate but nope!

@Autumbreeze hey i know was so relieved .feeling very crampy all afternoon .my blood test day if i do through clinic is next Wednesday or next friday if i just want to do from home

@Autumbreeze Well I’m drinking coconut water like it’s going out of fashion. I heard it has a bit of a laxative effect! From about 1:00pm I’m tired, crampy at times, have moments where I’m starving and moments where I feel a bit off. Headache that is threatening. I bloody hate progesterone. My boobs are sore and bigger. It is exactly like 3 days before my period where progesterone symptoms peak and then drop again before AF. Which is slightly concerning because I have a 12 day luteal phase and from trigger, my period would be due in about 3/4 days.

It’s the pessaries. It’s the pessaries. It’s the pessaries.

@Autumbreeze I’m glad your dizzy spell is over! More water!

@zarascan47 The cramps should ease a bit tomorrow. I was very crampy after.

you get blood tests! Jealous! I have something that resembles a Covid lateral flow test! Might have ordered some first response tests from Amazon today….

@Lauralozzle id have to pay for the blood test version might just do an at home to be honest instead . I need to order some whats ones are best to buy ?

@Lauralozzle yes it is the pessaries!! It is it is!!!! I feel ya! I'm the same, headache, tired, a little cranky and crampy. Boobs the same to! Definitely feels like period and it's freaking me out a bit to. Last time I didn't bleed until the day before I was due to test! Got so close!!

Let me know if the coconut water works! I got my half days off work this week.... I honestly can't face 11 hour shifts or craziness so now I'll just have 6 hours each day instead.

DH keeps trying it on and I'm seriously getting tired of it! No way is any of that going to be happening for the next two weeks at least!!

@zarascan47 that's not to long to wait at all for results.

@Lauralozzle I'm getting first response to I think. I'd say they are good ones @zarascan47 but the cheaper ones should work fine to if your waiting until your test day. Also clear blue.

@zarascan47 I’ve heard first response early ones are good. I think clear blue are ok, but apparently the blue dye can have indents that look like lines. Not sure if they’ve sorted them out. Apart from when I was told to get a test before I took trigger first time, and I only got cheapo ones because I knew I wasn’t pregnant, I’ve not really got any for past 2/3 years. it was clear I was wasting my money because I’m pretty much infertile!

@Autumbreeze I’ll let you know if the coconut water works! Can’t have a repeat of this morning. I was worried I’d push out blasty with all the straining 😂 Although, i know that’s not possible! That catheter went quite far up the womb! I have a picture to prove it!

I’m real imaginative calling it blasty right… 😂

Well, that's it. My down reg is done (hopefully!) just to wait for AF now. Am I completely unrealistic to hope for it in the morning hahaha!

@Lauralozzle and @Autumbreeze it's definitely the pessaries, it's exactly the same symptoms as me. I was so convinced AF was coming that's why I caved and tested at 7dp5dt! I'm still suffering with the cramps and constipation too so will also give coconut water a try! It's all so glamourous isn't it! 😅

@Sj2505 I hope AF shows up quickly for you. I got my scan booked in today for the 28th of Feb so will be 7+4 then 🤞 it feels like it's ages away! 🙃

@Tamtam123 I'm so sorry about your embryos but wish you all the very best for your FET. When will you be doing it?

P.S. For everyone who was speaking about and worried about money and finances. I highly recommend Gaia. We are using them and we have 6 rounds package, you pay a set fee upfront at the start of each cycle and then nothing else until you have a live birth. If there is no live birth you don't pay anything else and if there is a live birth you have a year interest free to pay it off and then you start paying interest on the loan which you pay back monthly. It's essentially an insurance. They have been absolutely fantastic with us and it's taken the stress out of the finances. Due to my low AMH we were told now or never so I don't have the luxury of waiting and saving so this has been perfect for us. Hope it helps someone 🤞😊

Today is 11 days post FET, I didn’t feel anything at all but have maybe (maybe in my head) feel some very mild symptoms. Slightly sore boobs, on and off slight headache and just a bit meh. This might also be the fact I’m not sleeping at all from anxiety.

I need to know now, I’m in the office Wednesday and Thursday so it’s either tomorrow morning or Friday and I think tomorrow makes sense tbh so I can just get into the next cycle if it’s negative!!

How many days are you now?

I think you're a superstar for holding out so long. I always knew I'd cave early but was hoping to do 9dp5dt not 7 😬🙃

Today I'm 4+3 yesterday was my official test date so only just 12dp5dt today.
