Medicated FET what day was your transfer?

Hi everyone,

Embarking on another round of IVF and I’m having a FET next Tuesday. I went for a lining scan on CD8 and it was 6.1mm so returned yesterday CD11 and lining was above 7mm. I’m to start the dreaded progesterone pessaries on Thursday CD14 this week and my transfer is now booked for next Tuesday CD19.

Is this very late for a transfer? I’m getting myself all worried that it’s late and it’s going to impact the result of this cycle but being medicated does it not make a difference? Can anyone put my mind at ease?!

Many thanks!

Second @flowersinmay invite to the March IVF graduates thread @Happycrocodile @Gracie2021 It's so quiet on there and I like staying in touch with the women who I've met on this group so it would be great to continue to stay in touch with all things pregnancy. We could rename the group to March/April IVF graduates. A few weeks back, I looked for an April IVF one and it doesn't seem to exist!

EasterBunny7 · 23/08/2022 10:36

@Gracie2021 I stand corrected! I se you've created a group soon after I browsed. I love that you liked my thread intro enough to use it yourself! :D :D

Hope your group is more active than ours!

Love your group @EasterBunny7 and wanted to be sure I was giving credit in the intro. There's very very few April IVFers so might take you and @flowersinmay offer to join the March group if ye don't mind? Tbh I follow in yhe background anyway as I like keeping up with progress of people I've gone through treatments at the same time as. Creates a bit of a bond. How are you doing these days @EasterBunny7?

Glad you got your scan booked @Happycroc. Fingers crossed all goes smooth. What date will you be on scan day? I'm 6w tomorrow and symptoms remain very manageable too. Have heard a lot of people just don't get them that much.

Thanks @flowersinmay got some shock but thankfully it didn't last long but the bright red terrified me. Hoping for the best for tomorrow and my mild symptoms remain the same so just hoping for the best.
Sounds like you're over the worst of it, great news. Hope you have a good scan tomorrow and get to see more of your little bub. My partner is coming tomorrow too. Know we won't see much this early but hoping for a heartbeat 🤞🤞

As a side note I'm following along with the main Due in April thread too but wow a completely different mindset. Yes there's anxiety there but SO much confidence!! I do envy that assumption that all will work out. Think IVF and wanting this so badly and getting used to feeling as if our bodies will "fail" is just adds so much anxiety to the whole process.

@Gracie2021 just saw your message. I am going to sort out the thread title to include the April IVFers as I speak! All are welcome, please do direct them!

Gracie2021 · 23/08/2022 20:03

Will do @EasterBunny7 thanks a mil x

@Happycroc what week are you now? My symptoms started at around week 6 or 7 if that helps (one of my friends didn't have any symptoms either so maybe you're one of the lucky ones?) keep us updated on the scan.. really hope you can jump over to the March/April ivf thread soon - I've just done an update on my scan this morning ☺️. To answer your question no it wasn't private - it was technically the 12 week scan but randomly did it at 10+5, and need to go back in a few weeks for the tests to see if there are any abnormalities etc. Hope you can get plenty of rest in the evenings - those wake up calls sound very intense! Sending love and best wishes to you! Xox

@Gracie2021 and yes I totally agree with you about the non ivf threads on here - it's a totally different vibe and mindset! Xox
