Medicated FET what day was your transfer?

Hi everyone,

Embarking on another round of IVF and I’m having a FET next Tuesday. I went for a lining scan on CD8 and it was 6.1mm so returned yesterday CD11 and lining was above 7mm. I’m to start the dreaded progesterone pessaries on Thursday CD14 this week and my transfer is now booked for next Tuesday CD19.

Is this very late for a transfer? I’m getting myself all worried that it’s late and it’s going to impact the result of this cycle but being medicated does it not make a difference? Can anyone put my mind at ease?!

So sorry you're stuck in limbo @EasterBunny7 and get what you mean about the anxiety after so long trying. Be gentle with yourselves while you wait ladies. @Hopefull1981 those lines are looking so promising, stronger than the control line even. Hopefully all good things happening.
Glad you're feeling well too @flowersinmay. Will have everything crossed for ye all next week.

My update this morning: had dark red spotting. Everytime I think it's calmed down, it rears up again. I missed my morning pessary by 2 hours and I'd be so gutted if 2 hours alone can do so much damage. I then found a dark red blob later on and my mind was running wild. After inspection, it was the leftover pessary covered in blood but perhaps not tissue matter or a clot. I will use an extra dose this morning (without the clinic's permission) just to give myself a boost.

Awh @EasterBunny7 sorry this is happening and giving you such a hard time. Will you go to the EPU? You are nearly 6 weeks? They may relieve the anxiety. I would doubt 2 hours could do any damage. Plus you are on the gel.

@Hopefull1981 thank you for your support. I still have no desire to go to EPU until I see continuous flow. If nobody is willing to increase my medication, there isn't much a scan can do for me. I did go ahead and self medicate and took an extra shot of crinone gel. I'm 5 weeks and 4 days.

I am broadly ok. Keep testing for my head's sake. My husband is off to Tomorrowland this weekend (mid life crisis) so I hope nothing happens re an ectopic over the weekend. I am 5 weeks today. That was long week.

@Hopefull1981 I feel the same. This has been a such a stressful week, I just feel so deflated and that glimmer of excitement has disappeared too. One more week for the both of us.

I am sooo exhausted, had breakfast and went straight back to bed (have got a few days off work booked.. should have planned to go away but too exhausted to bother right now!) I'm 5 weeks 6 days which according to one tracker is 15% of the way through pregnancy! Sounds quite impressive 15%!

@flowersinmay I am at my desk in work and could easily put my head down on the desk. I wish my office had tinted glass. So tired today. 15% is great when you look at it that way.

Still strong looking tests. I got the cheap tests this time and my last clear blue.

@Hopefull1981 yeah that's a good strong line!!!!! There is hope yet! I'm actually tempted to do another test today... I'm trying to hold out a few more days! Xox

I'm so sorry you're going through this @EasterBunny7 but some people do get bleeding and everything turns out fine. Keeping everything crossed for you. Do you have support around you or have you told anyone around you that you were transferring?

Well done on 15% @flowersinmay. Glad you're taking it easy and minding yourself. Can always book something last minute if you do feel like going away when it comes to it.

Had the worst cramping last night which is strange for this part of the cycle so just hoping it's nothing. Also so unbelievably bloated and some physical signs of ovulating. Keeping everything crossed that that I'm not ovulating through the meds again even though logically I know it's ridiculously early to. On countdown to mondays scan.

@Gracie2021 The very best of luck for your scan. Are you on fematab only?
I never really felt anything, but that was the same with the stims. I was full sure it hadn't worked, as I had no physical symptoms.

I am an absolute nut bag. I was sitting at the desk at work and said feck if I emailed the GPs office to see if I can get a blood test today, they send them off at 2. She emailed me back at 13.58 amd I was there at 2. 😂😂

So you got your bloods sent off today @Hopefull1981?! Well done. How long do you have to wait? 🤞🤞🤞🤞 I'm up to 8mg of femetab this time plus the steroids. Usually fairly low impact Re drugs except my devil drug progesterone but feeling very out of sorts this time for some reason.

yeah, I was 8mgs a day and then was put on steroid 1 a day and antibiotic * 4 a day. It's a lot of tablets.

I will get them before lunch tomorrow.

So glad you'll have some clarity. Good planning! Yeah I counted and take 20 tablets every morning at the minute between all the medications plus supplements etc. it adds up doesn't it!

beta is back and it’s 637 yesterday versus 172 on Monday.

I think still its on the low side and unfortunately does not rule out ectopic.

next stop a scan.

@Hopefull1981 I really hope you can find out what kind of pregnancy you have before it has a chance to do damage to your health.

As for me, bleeding calmed down again. Just remnants today. I had to run errands today so I've been more active than I have been in ages, feeling it in my hips and thighs. No other symptoms. Wishing nausea on myself: had it last time around this time but then I remind myself that even though I did, it still didn't work out.

@EasterBunny7 thank you. Scan is at 10 Wednesday not too long to wait. I’ll be almost 6 weeks then and hopefully they see something. tests are very slowly moving darker.

hopefully the bleeding has stopped for you. I ever had nausea with my 3 year old. My boobs are tender but on and off not all the time.

i am trying to remain hopeful but it’s hard. My tests are darker I just can’t stop expecting the worst. Hate not having any control.

I don’t know why but tests with SMU are always better than FMU. So bizarre.

Those are really good lines though @Hopefull1981 hope you're able to hang onto that for now til you get some clarity on your betas.

How are you all? Hope the scan went well @Gracie2021. How is the bleeding @EasterBunny7? Really hope it has settled down. @flowersinmay Are you all excited about the scan this week? I am actually dreading it.

I was fully convinced last night and today that it was over for me. I just had the feeling. I ended up doing a digital at lunch and I got this. It actually shocked me.

That's a great sign @Hopefull1981 and fingers crossed things are progressing nicely. I have a good feeling! 🤞🤞 Is it wed or thu you're in for your scan?

Lining was good this morning. 7, 8, and 8 across the three checks and triple. But I have a 12mm follicle so they had to do bloods. Waiting to hear now. She said they're open the bank holiday for procedures so hoping bloods are ok and they bring me in Monday for the transfer. Terrified they'll delay again and I'll be at risk of ovulating.

Bleeding has been ongoing for 8 days now (on top of the 3 days I had prior to that). It hasn't increased to a stronger flow, just spotting and mainly brown, odd occasions red.

I have no other symptoms, no more ligament pain, no nausea, no physical body changes, nothing. My internet cheapies don't seem to become dye stealers so there's a niggle in the back of my mind. I'm just waiting it out until Thursday.

@Gracie2021 That all sounds promising. I forgot there was a bank holiday coming.

@EasterBunny7 I read online it's really hard to get a dye stealer on the IC's. The control and test line are the exact same for me. The frers are not really dye stealers either for me. I think I have low HCG, so would be at level yet?

I feel like this is going to be a long week.
