Hiya

Is anyone else due to start treatment July 2022 or around then?

I thought to make this thread so that we can all have a chat whilst going through treatment so that we don't feel alone.

Wishing you all the best of luck on your journey.

Hello, me and my partner received our FET plan today, and will get the medication delivered within a couple of days. :)
We had a fresh transfer in June which was unsuccessful, so we're here again but very hopeful and positive.

Hope all goes well for you all Flowers

NaomiNatNat · 06/07/2022 17:59

@Kelb79 If this helps, I started at Zero follicles at amh 3.6 last year (amh levels fluctuate btw as I'm 5.6 now) with my 1st ivf but ended up with 19 follicles and 8 eggs collected. Follicles do grow quite fast, my nurse said to hv plenty water and protein which I believe helped immensely. You will definitely have a bit more, even double actually. Sorry about your mmc, but at least you know you can get pregnant ❤ Hugs x

@Eggling Good luck you! Needles are normally a breeze for me but I've heard horror stories especially with thicker needles 😬

Hi everyone hope it’s ok to join currently
on day 6 of stims started buserlin on 15th June (which was my birthday hopefully It will be lucky) we are doing PGT. I had my daughter in 2019 via ivf successful 1st round blastocyst 4BB however no others good enough quality to freeze. She sadly was born with a terminal illness and has got very complex medical needs. She’s still with us and doing ok atm besides all her battles. It meant we was entitled to do PGT on nhs again we do feel so grateful. Scan Friday morning but I’m feeling soo bloated right now. We are on 300IU ovaleap last cycle I got put up from lower dose mid way so they started me high this time. I assuming it’s normal but I don’t remember feeling like this last time

PMAmostofthetime · 06/07/2022 20:26

Currently on day 8 on day 7 of stims. Trying to eat at least 60g of protein and drink plenty. Today I have sore boobs- anyone else had this symptom.

I'm on 225 Meriofert and Burserelin.

I done regged for 17 days on Burserelin ( long protocol)

I'm a day or 2 behind you my boobs are fine I just feel quite heavy aching feeling in lower abdomen like period pains but different. Have you had any scans yet to see follicles

PMAmostofthetime · 06/07/2022 22:19

@Tonim86 I just replied to you on a different thread. I think I'm 1 day in front of you. First scan is Friday which will be day 8.

Feeling bloated today so upping the water Intake.
When are yours scheduled? X

Tonim86 · 07/07/2022 07:41

I'm going for scan tomorrow too oh I might try upping water too today I'm on a higher dose this time so hopefully there's some follicles in there getting big already

mooneagle · 07/07/2022 11:11

They say to drink two litres of water but it’s so difficult. I’m on day 7 of medicated cycle before implantation and very bloated.

Kelb79 · 07/07/2022 11:18

@Tonim86 big big love to your daughter, she sounds like a little warrior 💪🏼💪🏼❤️❤️❤️

best of luck with this cycle 🙏🏼🙏🏼

@NaomiNatNat thank you!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 That reassures me soooo much!!!

water & protein huh?! Nobody’s told me that but I’m on it!!! 👌🏼

so my clinic got back to me late afternoon yesterday and told me to start taking my other meds (Orgalutron) within the hour as one if my follicles had reached 15mm! I was at work, meds at home!!! full panic mode obviously!! 🤣 all sorted though 👌🏼
worried me sick as I don’t fly out to Spain until Sunday but clinic are totally on it and have reassured me all is fine - next scan tomorrow morning!
its such a rollercoaster! I literally have no idea what I’m doing 🫣🫣

hugely bloated lower belly and a bit queasy but otherwise feeling fine 👌🏼 Are more symptoms expected??

Rosemary121 · 07/07/2022 12:09

Hi Everyone,

Hope it's OK to join you all. I was on here a little while ago when I had a freeze all cycle back in Feb/March so now having a medicated FET. My fresh transfer was canceled due to risk of OHSS so its been a long time waiting (especially when the clinic 'forget' to offer you a follow-up appointment!) and needed to take a break from here but it's really nice to have others who are going through a similar process at the same time 💛

Day 4 of my medicated cycle, scan a week today and hopefully transfer the following week. We were fortunate to have 3 frozen day 5 embroys from the first cycle so this will be my first transfer. TTC for 4 years, unexplained infertility.

Good luck to you all 😊

mooneagle · 07/07/2022 15:15

@Rosemary121 welcome ! You’re just a day or two behind me!!! I’m sooo nervous. Also had OHSS!

PMAmostofthetime · 07/07/2022 21:59

mooneagle · 07/07/2022 11:11

@mooneagle I have found Rubicon Sparkling Water a god send- it tastes like pop and is in many different flavours. Low sugar and only 14 calories for 1.5 litres. Makes it easier to drink the water intake. I checked and it's classed as your water intake.

PMAmostofthetime · 07/07/2022 22:01

@Rosemary121 welcome I hade an unsuccessful cycle in Feb March and am on long protocol this time.

Day 8 of stims- first scan tomorrow.
How are you feeling?

@Tonim86 good luck with your scan tomorrow.

X

Tonim86 · 07/07/2022 22:04

@PMAmostofthetime thank you, you too let us know how it goes x

Rosemary121 · 08/07/2022 09:12

@mooneagle Thank you! Is this your first FET? It is very nerve-wracking isn't it, especially if you don't know what to expect at each step! Have you recovered ok from OHSS?

@PMAmostofthetime Ah really sorry to hear your first cycle wasn't successful, hopefully they'll have learned about how you respond to different meds this time and you have some more luck this time! Good luck with your scan today! I'm feeling fine so far, upping the dosage of my meds tomorrow I just have to keep remembering when and how many to take! Just hoping to finally get to transfer this time at least. How are you doing with stims this time around?

@Tonim86 Good luck with your scan today too - hope you have a good number of follicles developing!

PMAmostofthetime · 08/07/2022 10:03

@Tonim86 @Rosemary121

Scan went great 21 follicles between 11-17

Last time at this stage I only had 11 so feeling optimistic today.
Likely EC
Wednesday 13th

Tonim86 · 08/07/2022 10:27

@PMAmostofthetime oh wow that's great news, similar for me too my ovaries are hard to find and see but we got there in the end from what they can see they recorded 15 so far 12 between 11-16 and 3 under 10. Another scan Monday and likely EC Wednesday also.
She said I'm doing much better than my previous round at this point on EC for that round we got 13 and 12 fertilised so I'm feeling hopefully 🤞

mooneagle · 08/07/2022 12:23

@Rosemary121 its my second one. Unfortunately the first ended in MC at 6 weeks, which makes me even more nervous. Going in for my next scan on Monday at which point they’ll move me onto the pessaries I hope 🤞 .. then prob implant later in the week. It’s such a physical and emotional trail!

PMAmostofthetime · 08/07/2022 20:12

@Tonim86 that's great news- we'll be on the same timeline then if all goes to plan :) x

Rosemary121 · 08/07/2022 20:42

@mooneagle So sorry to hear about your MC, wishing you extra luck this time around! Let us know how your scan goes, sounds like you're just a few days ahead of me! It is such a draining process physically and mentally, do you have any time off work or are you trying to arrange appointments etc. around work? I have 2 weeks off booked towards the end of the month so I'm hoping that'll give me some time to relax after the transfer.

@PMAmostofthetime @Tonim86 Glad to hear both of your scans went well! Hope they keep progressing nicely for you both!

Kelb79 · 09/07/2022 10:48

Hey lovelies! How are you all doing?? ❤️
your stats all sound great! 👌🏼

I had my second scan and my follicle count had doubled up to 12 - 6 above 10 and looking really good, the others not too far behind. They seemed really happy with it - especially for low AMH 🙏🏼
I feel really positive that it’s gone up so much but it’s hard not to compare with others who are much higher!
trying to remember that I’ve worked really hard on egg quality over the last 6 months so hopefully the ones I’ve got will be good!

Day 7 of stims today, fly out to Spain tomorrow 😳😳 eeeek!!!! Into the clinic on Monday morning for next scan 🫣🫣🫣

EuropeRoadtrip · 09/07/2022 13:08

Can I join please? We very very luckily have one child conceived naturally 9 years ago and have been trying since. We had no idea how hard the struggle for another would be. We had IVF last year which ended in a missed miscarriage and had no other embryos so we decided to do another retrieval with PGT-A to reduce the risk of another miscarriage. From that retrieval we got one euploid embryo. So that’s where we are at. I keep scouring the internet for statistics on success rates with a euploid embryo. Dr Google is not helpful really as it’s just an obsession and way of trying to understand something that we have no true understanding about or control over at all. Our transfer is planned for September. I know when September comes I’m going to be so anxious. I’m anxious now! But hopefully we can get through it together on here. Hugs to everyone in similar situations.

PMAmostofthetime · 09/07/2022 19:44

@Kelb79 that's amazing! News when is EC likely to be?

I had 15 follicles last time and got 8 eggs but were all bad quality- what have you been doing for egg quality? I have been taking Ubiquinol and a high protein diet with lots of water.

@EuropeRoadtrip Welcome- I can't offer any advice on a euploid. But I'm sure som others may be able too.
Good luck with the next stages.
X

Rosemary121 · 10/07/2022 08:17

@Kelb79 Those are great numbers and remember its quality over quantity! Enjoy the flight and hope the scan goes well, I bet its warm in Spain at the moment!

@EuropeRoadtrip Welcome! Sorry to hear about your journey so far with IVF, it can be a rollercoaster. From my understanding euploid embryos are the ones that have all of the chromosomes, is that right? You have some time until September at least, have you heard of the mindful IVF app? I found it quite calming!

EuropeRoadtrip · 10/07/2022 09:45

Thank you @PMAmostofthetime

Thank you for your message @Rosemary121 Yes euploid embryos are chromosomally ‘normal’. I feel as we only have one embryo, this is it - our last chance. And I don’t know what else we will try if a ‘normal’ one doesn’t work. Even if we did another round, what else can we change... I’m so scared it won’t work. It’s a 4BB and our miscarriage was with a 4AA so that makes me feel even more nervous. I look at ‘chance of success with a 4BB euploid’ on Google but ultimately we had a 65% chance with our 4AA and only a 10% chance of miscarriage but we were the unlucky ones so all these statistics probably offer false reassurance. I’m just scared the exact same thing will happen again.

I will try the mindful IVF app, thank you for recommending this 😌
