IVF - Anyone else on the 2 week wait as at 18/05/22

Just checking if anyone else is on the two week wait right now? I am! and wanted to just see how everyone is feeling :) I started my two week wait today!

@Lisabrown88 my BFP cycle I started taking prednisolone from transfer. The ivf clinic didn’t suggest it though. I paid privately for a nk cells test which showed I should take it on a BFP but I asked if I could take it from transfer and they said yes.

Hi all, has anyone had to take Lubion daily from embryo transfer? My doctor has recommended all medication possible for my next cycle and im just concerned its all too much especially the Lubion daily. Had anyone had a BFP after daily Lubion?

@Lisabrown88 I’m so sorry to hear that, so heartbreaking. Take so time to replenish, you’ll get some fight back to then go again x

I only had 1 viable embryo from my first egg collection, this didn’t take. Had a second egg collection, less eggs this time but more fertilised, ended up with 4 embryo’s , but day before transfer I was told the quality had diminished and there was no point in putting any of them back :(
back to the drawing board.

@Fertilityjourney oh goshh thats horrid. Im so sorry to hear that! This is such a horrible journey, i just cant understand why its such a difficult journey when everyone is getting pregnant even some by accident and then you have us who have to go through so much heart break. Its a mess really. I really hope we eventually get there and not lose hope :(

First time posting here. Thank you all for being so open and honest in here. It’s been a real comfort today.

I am mid TWW.

IVF round one with nhs in feb. Only one egg retrieved and frozen day one. Transfer following month, no joy. End of my nhs road.

Private with CARE. Had duo stim with genetic testing. Far far more expensive but had better results so far .

Duo stim part one, five eggs retrieved, four got to day five, two of the four came back from genetic testing normal.

Duo stim part two, 8 eggs retrieved, sent three for testing, one came back genetically normal.

Frozen transfer November 14th.

so I’ve had three egg collections. This is my second transfer but my first private transfer.

I’m really hoping for a good result this time.

@Lisabrown88 I'm soo sorry for the delayed response...I missed the post but got a notification today. How are you? I'm sorry to hear you had a MC. I had a transfer in aug which also ended in MC. I was gutted as I bet you were for yours too? How did you find the lubion? I requested it for the next transfer but my clinic said I don't need it so I'm not sure... May I ask...did it mask the MC? My clinic said it could delay me from finding out about having a MC...

@Taslah i took 20mg a day until 10 weeks. Then week 11 was 10mg. Then week 12 was 5mg. It’s dangerous to suddenly stop do you have to step the dose down.

I’m currently in the middle of the 2WW.
Im 6 days post FET with a 5 day blastocyst.
I had a fresh transfer in May and in August and both failed.

My test date isn’t until the weekend but I’ve just tested … it’s negative. Has anyone else tested on day 6 and got a negative result but then gone on to get a positive?

@Abs8912 I'm sorry about your failed cycles, it's so rubbish. what test did you use? Was it frer? On my positive cycles, I had a positive on a Sainsbury's but v faint...as in had to hold up to the window and squint.

@Lisabrown88 and anyone else that still uses this platform as support, anyone got any good news to share! This journey can be awfully lonely and hormonal !
