Hi all just an update- sorry to be so quiet, I think this time round going through all of this again so soon I just have a hard time thinking or talking about the process more than I already do when I can't help it. I got my PGT-A test results yesterday and again no 'excellent' or 'good' graded embryos so even being euploid none above 55% chance, but it is what it is and I will simply keep trying. Baseline for FET today was fine, again one ovary leftover follicles 'cysts' from EC but last time they faded away, and the other ovary nothing leftover. If I'm quiet on thread I apoligise, but I am following along!

Hello everyone, just thought I would jump on this as we are due to start our very first cycle of IVF at the end of this month. Two failed attempts of IUI so far & almost 6 years TTC.

Appointment booked at new clinic for middle of Feb. They want to redo some of the tests we did middle of last year first.

I’ve just received an appointment for gynaecology department from the nhs. Is this the right department for a fertility referral? I was referred 3 years ago 😐 no date has come through as there is a 6 month wait!

Just for comparison, had a lot of watery cm today it went through my knickers and on my jeans sorry tmi 😳 looked like I wet myself! No idea if it's related to stims, was yours different?

@NaomiNatNat mine wasn't that bad but I only noticed when I'd been the toilet so it easily could have.

I'm going for my covid test tomorrow in prep for Monday EC . I've bought myself some paint to keep me busy over the weekend

@NaomiNatNat @Gracie2021 Hope you don’t mind me asking but what is your AMH and what protocol and stims are you on. I’m hoping to try a different protocol/ different drugs for my next cycle

Is this your first or 2nd cycle? It's our 2nd after a chemical in October.x

Hi all just want to be part of this thread a bit more. Had wondered where the last one went but only just found this again yesterday hence why I’ve been quiet. I had a fresh cycle in November and my transfer in dec which didn’t work and now I’m going for a check up scan today ahead of my frozen cycle this month. Feels a bit strange this is happening again but have been told that is apparently less intense. For me the hardest part of it was the 2ww last time so I doubt that will be any easier! Any tips for how people coped during that time would be welcome @Jennie154 my AMH was 33 and was put on the short protocol, menopar 150 which was increased to 220 and femadryl.

Managed to resist testing for another day - I really don’t know if I am symptom spotting, it is the drugs or it has worked but feeling pretty nauseous most of the time... my clinic has specific support for the test waiting period and I contacted them and I have to say they were soo good...

@Vslightlystressy sounds promising. When was your transfer? That sounds amazing to have special support. What a great idea.

@Jennie154 my most recent AMH was 4 pmol and I was on 225 Fostimon and 225 meriofert at this clinic which is their maximum dose - they won't go above a total of 450. At my previous clinic I was on 600 iu total but they change the balance between Fostimon and meriofert regularly during stims and I can't quite remember the balance. I had similar results with both protocols although as a rule my original clinic is better at getting a high number of eggs x

@Vslightlystressy that’s really lucky. I’m with nhs and don’t get any support really in terms of counselling. Just one counselling session left on 24th of this month and that going to be soon before my transfer but I was hoping that I could get some help through iapt for some one to one counselling but they said my symptoms are just sub clinical and told me yesterday if I’m with their service they can only give me online course or group therapy which I’ve never found helpful. I’m surprised they don’t give specific support when it really is terrible those two weeks. What kind of advice does your clinic give?

@Jennie154 My amh is 4.6 😪 buserilin 0.5ml at suppression phase. buserilin 0.25ml + ovaleap 375 at stims. I'm on long protocol x

@Janefx40 thank you, just getting a bit nervous now as last one was in end of nov when they properly checked but let’s hope no cysts or polyps will get in the way now x

@Justawannabemam I will hopefully be starting my second cycle soon.

During my first cycle I was on 300 Gonal F as that was the max dose allowed by the NHS. I only had 3 follicles on my baseline scan and 1 at egg collection. My AMH is only 2

@Bluehawaii29 welcome back. I've got my transfer today if our little embryo survives the defrosting. I found distraction best in the TWW, although last time I ended up watching a series of online lectures for medical students about the implantation process so I obviously wasn't that distracted 🤷🏻‍♀️

Haha yes I watched a tonne of you tube vids too about implantation and tried visualisation and also pregnancy vids about symptom spotting, all of which I could have done without and definitely staying away from this time!

@Jennie154 I'm 9.4 so not low low but bottom 20% for my age and with consistently low AFC's across 8 TSI cycle scans. I'm on 225 gonal F and 225 Luveris. Glad you got your app through.

@NaomiNatNat I'm day 5 here and the EWCM has started. On the other hand I woke up and wasn't bloated so think that was all on my head and due to the fact that I'm horsing big proteiny meals into me to try avoid snacking and sugary/processed crap.

Started cetrotide here today. Tiny bit leaked out so need to leave the needle in longer when I'm finished tomorrow morning but otherwise went smoothly enough. On countdown to the scan Friday to see what's happening in there. Woke up feeling very lean and the bloat is gone so I'm clearly just overeating.

@Gracie2021 thanks! I just got back home. I’m not sure what they’ll say later but I guess they’ll email me to tell me how much gonal f to take from today/tomorrow onwards 🤨

Erm so today I’ve had quite a lot of thick CM. I’ve just emailed them to ask when I’ll be scanned, hoping I’ll hear later today. It’s day 5 today. And now I’ve literally just read you’ve got the cm too on day 5 @gracie2021! I’m a bit relieved, was having a panic lol

I was very hungry yesterday but no bloating. Fully expect to put on weight during this from all the additional ways I’m trying to eat protein 🙃. I did have an almond croissant today after my blood tests. That was tasty but definitely not a tick in the protein box lol

Hi! I just got my last scan before the ET. Today is CD18.
Yesterday I had two 13mm follicles on the right side and one 12mm on the left and lining was 7.4 mm with triple line. Estrogen, FSH and Progesterone levels were normal, LH was higher than expected. They gave me Gonal-F 75mg yesterday to grow the follicles a bit bigger. Clearly 2.5 mg Letrozole was not enough for me. Anyways, I don't need the eggs this round.

Today uterine lining is 8.4mm, triple line and the left side follicle most probably already ovulated because she could only see a 10mm one on that side. Yesterday's 12mm might have gotten bigger and ovulated. They took more blood to be sure and will call me this afternoon to tell me if I still need the trigger shot or not. Otherwise the uterus looks ready for the FET 🥳

@Gracie2021 I always used Ovitrelle as trigger and only one shot. If Cetrotide is similar to that I think it doesn't matter if a small drop leaked out. There is usually plenty in it. I usually count until 20 before I pull the needle out. Good luck with the last shot 🤞

@thislittlebird oh yeah the Cm has certainly arrived. Good that we can compare day by day with each for what's "normal" lol. Sorry you have to go back in, what a pain! I'm starving the whole time! My OH has actually commented on the size of my lunch the last two days. Not sure if I'm actually extra hungry or just trying to beat the sugar cravings.....

@Cayandsimit so glad you got good news and all set for your transfer. Best of luck with the trigger. Will try counting to twenty, thanks for the tip. Think a little leakage is ok anyway and as today is my first day of cetrotide not at huge risk of ovulating if I lost a little bit so hopefully all good. Dr google tells me they account for a little bit of leakage in the dose too 🤞

Thanks @Gracie2021 just had the scan and it was all looking good :) now just have to wait for period to start in about 10 days and all set for the frozen transfer cycle xx hope this day 2/2/22 brings good luck for everyone x
