@Bluebonnet3 my clinic like them around 15mm so if yours were mid teens hopefully the trigger will.boost them a bit .

Good luck for Wednesday. Keep us informed . X

I'm just happy I got more than 3 granted they might be empty I'm not building up my hopes just yet x

crazycatlady1981 · 31/01/2022 20:06

So sorry to hear about your BFNs @Dobcaty @Jennie154 @PcosSOS Sending big hugs and wishing you lots of luck for your next rounds 💕

@Justawannabemam that sounds promising! How many days have you been on stims so far?

@Bluebonnet3 good luck for EC on Wednesday!

Justawannabemam · 31/01/2022 20:09

@crazycatlady1981 5 days so far.

Siany12321 · 31/01/2022 20:21

Hi. Hope you don’t mind me asking but I’m due to start Cyclogest on ivf cycle before egg transfer. Not able to lie down at work to take vaginally so been told to do it rectally. Never put anything in there before and not sure best position to insert it in toilets at work. Any help would be greatly received

Mochii · 31/01/2022 20:30

@Siany12321 I took cyclogest on my last cycle and I was never told to lie down to take it, I did it vaginally

womaninkent · 31/01/2022 20:34

@Siany12321 I've never lied down to take mine.

thislittlebird · 31/01/2022 20:45

@Siany12321 I use them rectally because I get thrush. Stand with one foot on something, like a toilet seat or bath (which is what I do at home) and the other leg on the floor. I hadn’t used suppositories before either but it was ok once I did it a couple of times. Attached is a beautiful photo I found online demonstrating the stance! I would use a tiny bit of lube to send it on its way lol, but I don’t know if it made any difference really. I think it did it without lube the last few times.

Siany12321 · 31/01/2022 20:52

Thanks, I was told you need to lie down 20mins after vaginally

thislittlebird · 31/01/2022 20:58

@Siany12321 I wouldn’t worry too much about lying down after using them rectally, it can’t pop back out very easily. Sounds weird but you can like feel it whizz up there.

Mochii · 31/01/2022 21:17

@Siany12321 there is no mention of that in the instruction leaflet. It says vaginally is recommended other than a few reasons, lying down isn’t mentioned

NaomiNatNat · 31/01/2022 21:21

Thanks for tagging me to this thread @Dobcaty been busy the past few days

So sorry all with negatives, big hugs and look forward to next round ❤

Question, did anyone have symptoms when stimming? Can't find any answers anywhere but I'm not experiencing any symptoms and I'm on day 4 of stims. Is that normal? X

Jennie154 · 31/01/2022 21:57

@Siany12321 I found them really easily to use rectally as I found Vaginaly too messy. Literally just push it up a little while sat on the loo and your body will do the rest. No need to worry about the position of it x

Hopeful199 · 31/01/2022 22:21

Thanks for all the advice and replies yesterday!

It has been an emotional day!
They agreed to scan me (but only because I was treble jabbed) and confirmed all looked good to go. There were options put forward (cancel altogether / eggs only/ trigger and try naturally / use a sample). They case conferenced it this afternoon and have agreed that I can go ahead with the cycle using a sample from my husband, but only if I continue to test negatively. So I am currently living in one room in my house and hoping the LFT stays negative!

Not the ideal circumstance (haven't quite worked out the logistics yet!) but very grateful not to have it completely cancelled at this stage and at least have a chance of using the eggs iv grown since Christmas!!

They said they are constantly reviewing the covid guidelines based on the relaxation of rules generally and are reviewing cases on an individual basis. I’m so grateful and relieved 🙏🏻

@Bluebonnet3 our timelines are realigned! x

Hopeful199 · 31/01/2022 22:23

@NaomiNatNat I haven't had any symptoms during stims. I did get EWCM on day 9/10 which freaked me out but actually seems to be quite normal and a good sign as in line with rising oestrogen levels

Good luck! x

Bluebonnet3 · 31/01/2022 22:30

@NaomiNatNat my symptoms on stims have varied but included headaches, feeling exhausted (needing naps or going to bed early), being moody (moodier than usual!), tender around the ovaries (more in the second week), sometimes bloated, tender breasts. Having to get up to pee in the night. Fun stuff! But i think the side effects from progesterone might be 'worse' / more noticeable, so just wait until you start that on day of EC (if doing fresh transfer) -- not sure when you start for an FET.

Jennie154 · 31/01/2022 22:35

@Hopeful199 that’s great news! Hopefully you stay negative. I know of many including myself who didn’t get covid when their other half did. X

womaninkent · 31/01/2022 23:04

Great news @Hopeful199.

dragonleo · 31/01/2022 23:32

@Hopeful199 so happy for you! Sounds like your clinic are really sensible. Wishing you all the best with this cycle

Justawannabemam · 01/02/2022 05:29

@Hopeful199 that's great news.

Hope everything goes to plan x

Dobcaty · 01/02/2022 07:02

Good morning girls!
I know it’s completely off-topic and I am not a believer in astrology/Chinese Zodiac, but today is the first day of the new Chinese year and this is a year of the Water Tiger! The tiger is commonly associated with something like bravery, courage and strength! And water feeds life! What a wonderful combination for this year for us! So here I am wishing everyone a happy new year! 🥳

@Hopeful199 Great news! I was really worried that they won't agree to collect the eggs. I hope you will stay healthy and they can at least collect the eggs & freeze them in the worse case. I wish your husband a quick recovery. I will pray for you 🙏💖

@NaomiNatNat I didn't have any symptoms until day 9 or 10. When the follicles gets really big, then you feel bloated that is all... Trigger affects the body more than stims I think. Good luck 🍀

Cayandsimit · 01/02/2022 07:36

@dobcaty I am a tiger according to the Chinese Zodiac so better be a good year! 🤣

I am wishing everyone best of luck in this journey and also a great year 💗🍀

NaomiNatNat · 01/02/2022 07:54

@Hopeful199 That's excellent news, what a relief indeed! 🙂
On the stims topic, praying it's doing something. Wish I had one of those scans at home to check myself lol getting impatient.

@Bluebonnet3 Had none of that on stims, was expecting a few ovary twitches or something but will wait

@Dobcaty Thank you 💕 Happy New Year of the Tiger Everyone x

crazycatlady1981 · 01/02/2022 08:08

@Hopeful199 that’s amazing news!! So glad to hear your clinic has treated you as an individual and is looking through the best options! Fingers crossed you stay negative! I had covid at end of November and my DH was testing everyday and didn’t get it even though we weren’t isolating from each other at all! So there’s definitely still hope! 🤞🏻

@Dobcaty great thoughts, love it! 🐅 Here’s to a brand new year of positivity and BFPs for everyone!! 🎉 🥳 x

Justawannabemam · 01/02/2022 08:22

So im on day 6 of stims and I had my scan yesterday. See post above. I've got a clear mucas this morning like ovulation is happening is this right?
