Hi @ngy21 thanks for setting up a new thread :)

How is the 2ww going for you?
@2mumsandason @Loutsflower1990000 and you?
Hope you're all well xx

ngy21 · 27/09/2021 10:42

@beachbum85 not been so bad! although i have been trying to symptom spot which i think i should stop doing lol!!!

Just over a week to go for me but i am so very much tempted to do a cheapie over the weekend!!!

Did you get your 3+ on your CB yet? how are you feeling?

OP posts:
beachbum85 · 27/09/2021 10:49

@ngy21 I think it's impossible not to symptom spot! Either way, it's impossible to know, but what have you been feeling?

I just got my 3+ this morning (at 5+4) so that's it, big relief and no more testing for me! I still feel exactly the same so far... so no worrying symptoms but nothing new that's reassuring either. So I'm just going with the 3+ being a great sign and will have to wait until the first scan!

Lotusflower1990000 · 27/09/2021 11:21

@ngy21 @beachbum85 hey ladies these 2 weeks are going so slow! Haha when is your official test date @ngy21 mine is meant to be the 30th but I just want to test now! Lol when did you test @beachbum85 for your first positive? How many days after transfer? Xxx

beachbum85 · 27/09/2021 11:26

Ohhh you're almost there @Lotusflower1990000 - the last few days are definitely the worst but hang in there! xx

My OTD was 12dp5dt and it was a very clear result, so I imagine it would have come up even a couple of days earlier? But who knows... How many days after is yours?

ngy21 · 27/09/2021 11:35

@beachbum85 on and off tenderness on the underboob! Occasional bloat and this morning just aching, but have a feeling cause i had a crap nights sleep as my husband was snoring away last night!!!

And these pessaries are sooo messy! I question if they are being absorbed properly as theres so much that comes back out..... these things are so inconvenient lol!

and congrats on your 3+! Only a couple weeks until your first scan!

@Lotusflower1990000 I think the last few days have been ok, but I have a feeling this week is going to be longgggg!!! My OTD is 5th Oct - which is 14 days after transfer! I thought it was a bit long compared to a lot of people. How have you been feeling? Much symptoms?

OP posts:
2mumsandason · 27/09/2021 11:37

Hi ladies!

@ngy21 I've been trying not to symptom spot too 🙈 I've been putting any symptoms down to the progesterone though. I had some cramping and my boobs are really full and sore!

Congratulations @beachbum85, that's great news! I bet you feel so relieved!

@Lotusflower1990000 it must be so tempting with only a few days left to go...try and hang in there, although it might be alright now - who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lotusflower1990000 · 27/09/2021 14:40

@2mumsandason it really is but I’m so scared to see a negative I had sore boobs and cramping I think this was down to the progesterone too! But it’s sort of gone away now when is your test date?

@beachbum85 congrats on your 3 week test it’s so exciting how are you feeling? do you have any symptoms?

@ngy21im worried about testing too early but the clinic want me to test day 10 and then day 17 so odd and email them my result weather is negative or positive I think all my symptoms are due to the progesterone too! My bloatings gone down but I had 19 eggs collected so I was at risk of Oshh so I feel like that may be why too xxx

2mumsandason · 27/09/2021 14:52

@Lotusflower1990000 That negative test is the biggest fear isn't it! My OTD is next Monday (12dp5dt) but I'm away at my sister's hen do for the weekend so really hoping that will be a good distraction! Do you think you will be able to hold on?

ngy21 · 27/09/2021 17:28

@2mumsandason are you on the utrogestan too??? my symptoms are on and off... dunno what to think!

@Lotusflower1990000 that is strange! did you have any fluids when you went for transfer? i am a bit worried as they told me they saw only a little amount so was comfortable to transfer. but i have been so bloated past 2 days so wondering if its signs of OHSS... i was thinking to test on the weekend which would take me to 10dpt... but we shall see lol!!

OP posts:
2mumsandason · 27/09/2021 17:43

@ngy21 I'm just on the progesterone pessaries twice a day. Have you been doing yours vaginally or rectally? I do mine rectally and I don't have any mess. I've also been getting heartburn today, which I never get, and I can't stop eating! Who knows...🤷🏻‍♀️

Novavee · 27/09/2021 18:59

Hi ladies

@ngy21 thanks for the tag.

@beachbum85 congrats on the 3+! You must be so relieved!

I had my FET consultation today and we'll be doing a natural FET cycle. We actually missed this cycle by a couple of days. I had no idea the consultant woud even consider it or I would have pushed for an appointment at an earlier date.

We should start in about 3 weeks or so, so that's not too long to wait. The consultant was extremely positive and reassuring so I am looking forward to the next steps.

@ngy21 @Lotusflower1990000 @2mumsandason Hang in there, you're halfway through. I am keeping everything crossed for you.

@2mumlife how have you been? Any news on the timeline for your FET?

beachbum85 · 27/09/2021 20:32

Thank you ladies!! Definitely a huge relief :)

@ngy21 ohhh no, your husband's snoring does seem like an extra factor in the mix there! Hope you get a good night's sleep this night :)
Yeah the pessaries are a pain... I alternate front and back door and try to lie down for about 20mins when I do them vaginally because otherwise it's such a mess... and it still is a mess really but slightly less so! So, so many panty liners Confused

@Lotusflower1990000 that's so weird they get you to test twice - sounds like an extra week of stress you could do without really! But testing day 10 seems fair - hopefully it'll be good news then!
I have exactly the same symptoms I've had all throughout: sore boobs, cramps and some sharp pains like when I sneeze or twist at night, and I'm just really, really tired a lot - it's hard to get through the day without a nap. But nothing too, toooooo different!

@2mumsandason perfect timing for your sister's hen do except for skipping the drinks! I'm sure it'll help get your mind off it... I was terrified of a negative test too, but hopefully it won't be xx

Hang in there all of you... interesting symptoms but there's just no way to know! Stay strong! I'm keeping everything crossed for you xx

@Novavee that's great - I'm so glad you can start soon and the consultation went so well :) does a natural FET mean you don't need any meds?

MollyVanDer · 28/09/2021 07:59

I wondered why everyone was so quiet on the other chat. Thanks for setting up a new one.

@beachbum85 so pleased that you are progressing well. When are you having scans?

@Novavee that's great you're getting your cycle in 3 weeks.

@ngy21 I did mine rectally as the nurse said they absorb better and less meds and chance of bleeding due to irritation of the vaginal wall.

We've been told our second cycle may be able to start end of December depending on the sperm coming in. I'm still waiting for my MDT meeting from the first cycle and they won't place the sperm order before this meeting. I just want to get on with things. Finding it hard sleeping at the moment.

Curious to know if anyone did multi package purchase privately and what made you choose this if you did?

ngy21 · 28/09/2021 09:38

@2mumsandason i am on the utrogestan 3 times a day, i've heard some people can use all 3 at one time (night time) which i would prefer! but when i asked the nurse she said i couldnt do that.

Oooo maybe they are good signs! I had another sleepless night last night but due to stomach pain and not my husbands snoring... googling mad about OHSS incase i have it. Got the pain killers back out again!

@Novavee no problem! so good to know you're making progress with your natural FET!!! and yes, half way there now! i still think im gonna be naughty and test early lolollll

@beachbum85 tell me about it... feel like im wetting myself everyday lol!

@MollyVanDer i might have to give the back a try! and that's great news for you too if your December cycle goes ahead as planned!

OP posts:
2mumsandason · 28/09/2021 09:57

@ngy21 it's so hard to know what is a good sign and what is just hormones! Why are things never simple!!

Last night and this morning I've had white mucus when wiping after a wee (sorry TMI!) has anyone else had this?!

Great news @Novavee and @MollyVanDer on your cycles...hopefully time will pass quickly for you both - I know the waiting can be the hardest part.

Novavee · 28/09/2021 13:40

Thanks, ladies

@beachbum85 simply put, yes. We will follow my natural cycle and avoid any medication as I have regular periods and ovulate naturally. The consultant mentioned a lot of clinics insist on medicated FET for convenience so they can control the dates but mine has doctors 7 days a week so even if the tranfer falls on a Sunday that would be just another day for them.

I might have a trigger just to help know the transfer date, though. If I ovulate naturally they need to try and figure out when that happened so we want to eliminate the uncertainty with a trigger and I won't have to worry about OPKs. Then I'll have the pessaries for luteal support (which from all the descriptions above I am not looking forward to!).

Bluebonnet3 · 28/09/2021 16:03

I had my viability scan this morning. I'm 6w+5d today but dr said embryo measured small as 6+3. Not sure how worried to be. There was a heart beat (showing up like a little flicker inside a lighter zone inside a dark circle), so that's a plus. Dr said to come back for another scan in 2 weeks. I asked if i should tell the GP yet, but he said to wait until after the next scan.

I'm wondering if the stress of traveling has anything to do with it. I've just been to visit my US family on a sight seeing tour, which was pretty full-on and had 3x flights each way.

I've tried googling (never a good idea) and some suggest the size measurements could vary several days either way, because it's so small, and the scan could be looking to the side instead of straight on. That's the reassuring ones. So i have to try not to stress for the next two weeks, and hope all is progressing as it should!

ngy21 · 28/09/2021 17:22

@2mumsandason every time I see white discharge I assume it's the progesterone!!! It's never been gooey/mucusy tho 😶

@Novavee lol good luck with the pessaries!

@Bluebonnet3 that's great news on seeing the heartbeat in the scan! I wouldn't think it's much to worry about especially when it's normal to vary a few days!! If you wanted to ease your mind maybe do a private one next week? Hope you had a great time away tho and are feeling well!

Lifa · 28/09/2021 19:56

I hope you are all ok ladies and great to see lots of positive update :)

beachbum85 · 29/09/2021 13:01

@ngy21 are you feeling any better today? I hope you had a good night and the tummy pain has passed.

@2mumsandason I've only had the progesterone discharge myself, but I have heard of some women having lots of mucus in early pregnancy! Is it still going on?

@Novavee ohhh that must be a welcome change to be able to skip all the prep meds - just the trigger doesn't sound bad at all! And the pessaries... I won't say anything about those except: you'll get used to them Grin

@Bluebonnet3 congrats on seeing the heartbeat - that must have been such a special moment! As you read, I thought that a few days either side is a pretty normal variance.... Either way, your trip can't have had anything to do with it! The baby is safely in there so, although I know it's impossible, try not to worry xx
I've just asked my clinic if there's any risk related to having multiple scans in a short time (because they won't let my partner into the viability scan and there's no way I want to be in there alone the first time!)

@MollyVanDer really sorry you're having a hard time sleeping! Any idea of when your meeting about the first cycle might be? I hope they don't make you wait too long... Keeping everything crossed for you to be able to start December xx
Our NHS scan is booked for 14 Oct, so 2 weeks to go unless we do go privately next week!

@Lifa nice to see you back... how are you doing? I hope everything is progressing well for you xx

@Hansoo how are you? I saw on a separate thread that you had your scan, and I hope it was all fine xx

@Lotusflower1990000 have you managed to hang on, or have you tested?? :)

2mumlife · 29/09/2021 15:44

Oh geez you filled up a whole thread already!

@Novavee Finally got clinic to send through (yet another) round of consent forms for FET. They've still not committed themselves to getting their shit together for doing the FET on my next cycle, but at least they are starting to actually more things along. How are you getting on?

@beachbum85 How are things going with you?

MollyVanDer · 29/09/2021 17:19

@beachbum85 thanks for your message. We are still waiting for a date for our post first cycle review, 3 weeks on from a BFN. Hoping we will hear very soon. Lovely to read you're progressing well. Keep us updated x

SerendipitySunshine · 29/09/2021 17:34

Lovely to see so many updates.
